We truly appreciate down to earth, knowledgeable pros sharing good advice, with a great sense of humor. My washer was squeaking and than the drum quit turning so I called Independant Appliance. A guy…read morecame out and said it's the belt and quoted me $192 for the visit, parts and labor. I paid that, he put the belt on and then proceeded to tell me that the bearings weren't too good either. I asked, what do you do forr that and he responded get a new washer. This was on a Thursday and on Saturday it broke again and I had to buy a new washer.I was obviously very upset because i felt that the technician knew that wasn't going to fix the washer and charged me anyways. I tried to call the shop on Monday. I left a message and they do not return my calls. I will never use them again.​ Update: Independent Appliance called me after seeing my review and they did apologize and refunded the parts and labor. I do appreciate their effort to make it right.
