The absolute worst service ever. My refrigerator is only 1 year old and it was delivered with 3 of the 4 doors dented by the installers. It took 7 months for them to replace all the dented doors.The ice and water dispenser doesn't work since they replaced the dented doors. I have called many times. Some one takes my number and I never get a call back. Meanwhile this refrigerator has no water and no ice which means I'm buying bags of ice at Publix and bottled water. The Appliance Center is happy to sell anything to you but contacting them about a service repair is like hitting a brick wall. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! read more

We were on the hunt for a new dishwasher. We shopped local and online. Our last stop was the Appliance Center. We had specific requirements and had seen similar units elsewhere. The appliance center had it in stock. No one else did. It cost $7 more than the big box store. Very satisfied. The sales staff are great, especially Doris. I had finally bought us a new dishwasher, in a Black Friday sale from a big box store. Over the month, they lost my order, brought a broken machine and misplaced the return order. Said they'd have a new one in 2-3 more weeks. I canceled the whole mess. On a hunch, I called Appliance Center in downtown PC at 3:00 Friday afternoon, of New Years weekend. The voicemail said they'd be open Tuesday so I left a message. Imagine my shock when Bob Hurst, the owner, called me Saturday morning! I told him exactly what I wanted and he said he thought they had it in stock. But he was at home, so he called his son and asked him to run by the store. Bob called me back later that afternoon and said they could install it Tuesday; and it was done as promised ... for $100 less than the big box. That's what I call customer service. read more

Our experience with The Appliance Center was a very pleasant one. I ordered a kitchen package from them. For a remodel. The remodel ran over by several months. So they kept and stored my appliances. I was given an instal date by contractor's staff. Per usual (things happen) there was a glitch. The appliances were on their way. When we informed TAC. They put the appliances back in storage. Guess my last negative of this company was deleted from here and the BBB. Anyway, I'd advise everyone to stay away from this company. They sold me a bad refrigerator. Had one of their techs come out and look at it, said the parts are not available in order to fix it. Took it back to them the next day. Asked to exchange or or for a refund, the owner tried to first tell me I was a liar and his tech did not come and look at it. I then presented a receipt and he said he doesn't have any money for me, then threatened me and a friend that he was going to fight us. I have the whole thing on camera! We ordered a full kitchen and paid in full. We were told that they receive deliveries twice a week and there would be no problem getting appliances from kitchenaide. Two months later we still had no stove. They made three trips to install all other appliances...refrigerator, dishwasher, hood/chimney and microwave. The refrigerator door was to be replaced months ago because it has a bump on it. Still not received it. The kitchen cabinet people instalLed the microwave. The chimney/hood was sitting in pieces on my kitchen counter because he didn't order the correct part. He had to borrow a ladder from my contractor and a drill because they didn't bring the tools they needed. I was told the oven we purchased is not purchased that often and kitchenaide doesn't make it until it's ordered. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT RECOMMENDED THIS OVEN TO THE TUNE OF $2400.00. Now they tell me they don't sell too many of this model. You can't make this stuff up. I am beyond frustrated with this company. I thought I was dealing with a full service, reputable appliance company. In closing, everything has finally been installed except the refrigerator door. HORRIBLE company! They are very slow to respond on the service side, if they respond at all. They were contracting by Samsung to repair my ice maker and didn't fix it. Contacted them back and they said I would have to contact Samsung again. I did, and they set up a service ticket. Never heard from this company. Went out of town came back called them and they said Samsung canceled the ticket. Called Samsung and they said that this company canceled. New service ticket opened, again had to call this company after 3 days. Was treated very rudely was told Samsung keeps denying claim, they could try again after 90 days and hung up on me. Called Samsung again, found out that this company would have to stand behind the repair for 90 days so that is most likely why they kept blowing me off. It's now scheduled with someone else to be repaired. Run from this place HORRIBLE people to work with. read more

I had a technician from the Appliance Center come out to repair my Speed Queen washer, it banging during the spin cycle. The technician could not figure out how to repair it. He taped the hose down then told me he would call me after I ran a load of clothes. I asked him if it did not fix the problem what was my next step. I was told he would return. He never called back and he did not fix the washer but collected $195. I called the Applicance Center to complain and the women I spoke to was helpful and said they were ordering a part that would be delivered in a week. It has been 3 weeks and no one has returned my calls. I have called everyday and I only get a voicemail and no return calls. I have bought many appliances from Appliance Center and have never had this problem before. I understand the work shortage but 2 weeks is a bit much to not get a return call. read more

William delivered the fridge that evening and was very good about communicating with me before and after installation. All was very efficient and professional. I will definitely use them again. Have a problem with refrigerator not cooling properly. They sent a tech out that had to call another tech to diagnosis problem. Tells us it needs a part he has to order. Calls to tell me he has part and will make repair. Comes back to house and tells wife he only needs to clear a line and not replace part. Leaves and refrigerator still don't work. I call office to investigate. They say we will call you back. No phone call in two weeks. I hire someone else to make repair. Today appliance center tech calls to say he has part for repair. Positives: A very nice service tech named Andrew Negatives: 1) They had to take my dishwasher to their mad appliance lab rather than diagnose it in my home like every other repair person I have ever had. 2) The removal person called during dinner and showed up while the kids were doing dishes. The appointment had been made for earlier in the day.. 3) After removing it the removal person had to carry it out in his arms because he forgot a dolly causing me to hold my breath while it walked it past the newly built and painted walls and cabinets after Hurricane Michael. 4) He asked if we wanted to have the wires left uncapped or just turn off the breaker (meaning he removed it with the breaker on) and after being informed there are small children and pets running around, rummaged around in his car found a cap and covered the wires. 5) When he disconnected the dishwasher from the garbage disposal he did not cap it nor did he inform me that he had left a gaping wound under my sink. 6) For the next 24 hours every time we used the sink it leaked into the plastic storage bin and the bottom of the cabinet and was only severe enough to flood the floor when I started dinner the following night. 7) When I called the removal person to tell him to get over and fix the mess he had created he told me it was his day off, call the office and hung up. Except I did not know who the office was having only been contacted by Andrew the nice service tech at the behest of Bosch. 8) When we called him again he again hung up on us again. 9) When I reached Andrew the nice service tech he nicely informed us it was his day off too but he was properly horrified about the behavior of the removal person and he nicely gave me the office number. By then it was 4:58 and they did not pick up. 10) Andrew nicely called back to say he had spoken to his boss and he said not to use the sink until Monday!! 11) I not so nicely told Andrew his removal person was an irresponsible ninny sucking rude child and his boss had no balls. I would call a plumber like a normal person. Any boss worth anything would have made the call himself rather than using an off duty very nice service tech like Andrew. Any boss who cared about his reputation or business would have taken responsibility for his employees and sent someone to recap the garbage disposal. Any boss who was an actual person who cared about other actual people would have called and at the very least apologized. 12) We paid a plumber to make an emergency house call on a Friday night. 13) We will be giving them the bill but nothing about them suggests that they are anything other than dishonorable, dishonest, lazy, inconsiderate and rude. With the exception of the very nice service technician Andrew. Andrew, if you are reading this, find a new job. They are paying well all over Bay County and you deserve better, my friend. Advice: avoid them like the plague and call Appliance Doctor. Actually, call anyone other than Appliance Center. read more

Very friendly family owned business. I've used them for two different homes, full kitchen package and washer and dryer. Never was pressured to up sell. I purchased middle of the road types of alliances and never had any issues with them or delivery. One time my pantry was getting hot during drying, he came over, inspected the air coil, which was full of gunk. He cleaned it and even got up on my roof to inspected where the air comes out and it was clogged as well! Highly recommended. read more

I ordered a full kitchen suite for a condo and only had one week open to swap all the appliances. The old appliances were taken out and then the new ones were brought in. The refrigerator did not fit as I did not order the counter depth model. They did not have one in stock, but told me that they would try to get it in the same week to get it in. They went back to the truck and brought our old refrigerator back in just in case they could not get the counter depth one in time. Two days later, they called and came back out and swapped out the refrigerator. I can not say how awesome they were to get this done in the small window we had. Very happy. read more

Don't use this company. They have no regard for your time or schedule. A kitchen installation that was scheduled for Friday, should have been completed in about 4 hours, ended up not finished so had to be scheduled another day. Installers didn't have parts needed to finish. A simple 4 hour installation ends up taking 2 days They were asked to call when installers were on there way and DON'T. Run do not walk away. Purchase your appliances from any other retailer and you will do better. A new washer and dryer set ordered with delivery and installation. Started with no warning and they were outside ready to deliver. One service tech vs two to install. Washer was installed 1" higher than the dryer and the dryer rocks back and forth indicating improper leg length. Neither are level. Did not bring enough vent tubing so cobbled together some new with some old of different type; and left a hole in the piping. Called to have the installation redone. Took several several calls which were never answered but after a week some one named Bob called back. Said he would have the delivery folks call and correct. Did not happen.
