I decided on Appliance Doctor Pro after finding them on Yelp and Google and I truly wish I never heard or called Appliance Doctor Pro for service. The technician, Ismayil, did not properly diagnose the problem and came to a conclusion after spending 2 minutes behind the refrigerator. He said the problem was low freon. When I inquired how did he come to this conclusion and how do he know if its not something else, he acted as if he could not speak English. He refused to leave the house until he received the $79. for the diagnose fee despite he was not able to fix the problem of low freon because he didn't have any. I called the headquarter office and spoke with Jacob and shared my fears. I paid and he stated he would return later that day. A few hours later, Ismayil returned with freon and added it to the refrigerator. During this time, I noticed as he was adding freon the refrigerator was making loud violent noises which it was not making prior to him working on the refrigerator. I asked him why the system is making this noise and Ismayil response was its the system receiving the freon and it will go away as the refrigerator starts to cool. This was around 5:59 pm. It is now 7:20 am and the refrigerator has not cold to normal operating standards, and in fact is warmer. The system is still making loud noise as well, which it was not during until Ismayil started working on the system. I'm now out of $300+ dollars and most likely will have to but a new refrigerator due to the damage caused by this company. I wish I never called these people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Worse service ever. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been unacceptable. I paid $445 for a refrigerator repair, and the issue was never fixed. My refrigerator is still not getting cold and the freezer is not freezing, despite the technician stating the problem was resolved. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. I have now had multiple appointments scheduled with a 3 hour service window, and no one showed up. No call. No message. Nothing. I rearranged my day more than once just to sit and wait for a technician who never came. At this point, I feel like I wasted my money and my time. I do not understand how this company has positive reviews on google, when based on my experience they are the worse. I have made multiple attempts to get this resolved, and instead I have been ignored. I am now pursuing further action to recover my money. Elvin from Appliance Doctor Pro came out to complete the repair my stove. During the appointment your technician pulled the oven out without using sliders or other protective equipment, which resulted in visible damage to the kitchen flooring adjacent to the range. When I emailed the company I received no response, I called they had me re send the email and still never contacted me. When I tried to call again the number would not go through. I have contacted BBB and filed a complaint regarding their disregard for their customers as well as lack of protocols to use sliders when working on a range. I also contacted whirlpool who is awaiting my response on how Appliance Doctor Pro is going to resolve the situation. read more

I scheduled an appointment on line specifically because it did not mention a service fee, this is for a mini fridge that only cost $150.. they wanted to charge $250 for service and repair, because I refused this they said it's $99 for the 10 min he was here to look at it, I refused, gave $50 for time to do nothing and sent on way...the service charge was not clear and will never contact them again read more

Inquired for dryer repair because it would not run if you did not continuously hold the start button and was just wanting to see if it would be more cost effective to repair or just replace it completely. I was told it was just the belt that needed to be replaced, an easy fix right? Unfortunately once the belt was replaced and paid for, the technician said that it was a motor issue with dryer and that would be $600. If it was properly diagnosed, I would have saved money and just gotten new appliances (which was the reason for the call in the first place, to receive a proper diagnosis). Also the belt repair took 3 days. On the initial diagnosis I was told they would be back out the same day. They did not come back the same day. I called to see if they would be out the next day to which they said yes but still did not come out. The third day they finally came out and they were still 45mins late. They are scammers. My refrigerator light was not going out, so the refrigerator was running a lot. I called them for an appointment. When I made the appointment, there was a $20 dollar coupon to make the service call $79. They came and said the problem was the seals around the doors. Elvin, showed me the "seals" on amazon and said he would be back tomorrow to install. Two days later, I have heard nothing. I called and they gave me the run around. I finally said, come out or cancel. He showed up and said he had the wrong seal, he would be back. Heard nothing until I called the next evening. Elvin said that the replacement seals were now $600 with $300 installation. My refrigerator is 19 years old, I decided to get a new refrigerator. Elvin said I would get a refund, but never received it. Finally after calling and bugging them, I received $108 of the $208 I paid. When I called asking why I only received $108, they said I had to pay the service call. I told them that the service call was supposed to be $79, because of the coupon and they said prove it. I went back through all the texts and emails and nowhere does it state what is displayed when I made the appointment. If you are foolish enough to use this company, print screen the appointment so you have proof of the actual cost. read more
