I inherited an older, Whirlpool refrigerator when I purchased my new place. The refrigerator began humming. Steven diagnosed the issue, gave me the cost for part and repair and indicated it was a good refrigerator and I would not be able to purchase a new one as sturdy. Steve replied within an hour with an honest quote, and when I agreed to his services, he was able to arrive ready to diagnose and make repairs the same day (due to a last minute schedule change to my advantage). Steve and Doug were very quick to diagnose the problem as a bad idler pulley, and offered several repair/replacement options. They were very speedy and precise in their repair work to replace the idler pulley and drum rollers (comes as a kit for my model dryer). All told, they started and finished within 45 minutes. We recently got a new refrigerator and moved our old one into the garage. The old fridge kept blowing the GFI circuit it was plugged into. We thought there was a problem with the old fridge. I called Steve. He told us that refrigerators and GFI plugs don't work well together. He suggested wo plug the fridge into a non GFI plug. That did the trick. I really appreciated his honesty. Stephen came out due to our 5 year old Samsung French door refrigerator making a terrible noise and not keeping the refrigerator section very cold. He immediately diagnosed the issue and provided two options to resolve. He was able to fix the refrigerator right then. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious. Steven is a great guy. He came out and told me the ugly truth- that my fridge while still running, was limping along and then stopping to catch it's breath, then limping again. The condenser is old, overheating and was truly on it's last legs. He DIDN'T try and sell me a couple 'might be worth a try' parts with installation charges. He DID clean under the fridge and vents like crazy to take as much load off as possible and showed me how to set the temps inside, where to keep the inside vents from being covered up, how to baby it along and hope it would not totally give up before I am ready to send it to refer heaven in three weeks. He's honest and actually worked quite hard getting it cleaned up and running cold. His pricing is fair, and again, he could have had me try a couple parts etc. and cost me quite a bit trying to get through this. Good guy. Recommend highly. read more
