Matt Richards owner and his crew did a very professional repair to two French drain problems also, replaced five large sprinkler rotors and fourteen sprinkler nozzles that provided increased pressure to our Swimming Pool sprinkler system for shrubs and plantings. Update to my original post below: I am updating this from a 2 to a 4 based on the response from the owner who apologized and refunded me my money. The original comments below are still accurate but the owner did an impressive job of making this right, Thank you. Unimpressed. After the freeze I wanted someone to check out the irrigation system before I turned it on. Got an appointment but didn't get any follow up. The day of the appointment I called and left text messages to try to get a time that they were coming. Didn't get a response but they eventually did show up. They assumed I had a backflow problem but I told them it was fine I just wanted the system checked. We ran through the cycle and one guy kicked a couple of the heads and they said it was fine, charged me $95.00 and left. I called another company and they not only communicated with me about when they would be there but what time, etc. When they came they found a few issues, fixed two rotators, replaced a few heads and adjusted everything for a very reasonable price. After that they followed up on the work. I never heard anything from Applied after the guys left with the check. read more

Installation great! After installation customer services extremely poor. Cycle 1 of my system continued to run simultaneously with cycles 2-7 and beyond. I changed cycle 1's time to zero. I turned the panel to off. I unplugged the panel. All unsuccessful. I called Applied Solutions and left message telling them I had somewhat of an emergency and explained my situation. No response. Cycle 1 ran for more than 12 hours. I called Applied Solutions first thing the next morning. No response. I sent them an email at 8:01 the next morning. I received an email from them at 8:43 saying, "scheduled for 5/22". Yes. That's all it said. Yes. that date is 8 days from the time my incident happened. I replied that I needed to speak to someone asap and that I'm not available 5/22. No response. In my quest to get the water stopped, I call four other sprinkler companies. Fortunately all 4 sprinkler companies returned my call that morning and they told me how to stop the water. The other companies were extremely customer focused, pleasant and helpful. They were not even concerned that I was not a customer of their company. They were more than happy to help me with my problem. To date, 5/16/18, I have not received a response to my request to speak to someone from Allied. For all they know, my water is still running continuously. That shows the type of care and concern they have given this customer. read more

Found these guys through Home Advisor, who scheduled an appointment for Thursday. Vendor said he could do it on Wednesday at 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., which I agreed to. Never showed, didn't call, just get an answering machine now. Left messages - no response. Horrible. read more

I had called up 8 different sprinkler/irrigation companies, and Matt's team led by Jesus came to my home the next day to provide a free estimate on repairing my sprinkler system with 15 zones. He returned with a very capable crew to diagnose all the problems and do all the repairs, all at a very reasonable price! Matt and Jesus have an excellent attitude and great attention to customer service, answering all my questions, taking the time to explain everything patiently, not leaving behind any trash or debris to clean up. I have started recommending Applied Sprinkler Solutions to my family and friends in Houston, but really wanted to write this review to express how satisfied I am as a customer! To give you a feel for some of the other companies I contacted, most wanted to charge an inspection fee and would not provide a free estimate, and some were just very slow to respond or never called me back.
