I want to first start out by saying, even though I ended up returning the vehicle I purchased, I still had a good experience with Approved Autos from start to finish. I believe the rep I worked with was Luis, who was friendly. I was looking for a vehicle for my son and found the car listed on cars.com. I went in and test drove the car solo. I was a little iffy on the alignment and few other sounds. I then test drove the vehicle with the rep and decided to move forward with my purchase. My husband drove the car home later that day and due to some concerns, he decided to take it for a Pre-Purchase inspection by our trusted mechanic of seven years. The diagnostics came back that the car had a monitor present that was needed for smog, lower control arm cracked and splitting, left rear suspension shock was leaking, right rear suspension starting to seep, front engine mount torn and cracked, brake fluid was low, and brake pads were low. I say all this to say, even if you opt not to take the warranties, purchase the contract cancellation agreement. They said these things were minor wear and tear for a 2009.. maybe.. maybe not... I wasn't trying to find out. I opted to return the car for a refund, minus the restoking fee. read more

Drove it half way home, and the steering wheel started shaking around 55 to 65 mph, not sure if it's alignment issues or something way worse.I took it back to the dealership and then Fahim took it for a drive and told us that it wasn't shaking. My husband said let's go on a drive together, and Fahim kept showing us the videos of the steering wheel not "shaking". Thankful we had to just pay a $250 canceling fee. DO NOT BUY YOUR CARS FROM THEM. I bought a used Acura TLX . Test drove it everything was fine. It had a salvage title due to I was told a minor fender bender. When I drove it home 2 hours away it was fine but started to shift hard. Two days later the car transmission shut down and my parking brake and bad lights all came on. I had to reset the computer ( disconnect the battery ) for the car to be drivable to get home. I was told to bring it back so I did. Then they tell me I have to leave it for a few days. I live 2 hours away and they couldn't even provide me with a rental or a back up car till mine was fixed. So I had to drive it back the same day. Long story short I called back few times was giving the run around. Then Fabio told me he wasn't going to be responsible for something he didn't sell my but his partner did. They ERASED THE CODES AND DELETED THE INFO ON EH CAR. It's been sitting for 3 weeks now and I'm stuck with a car that doesn't run cause the transmission is no good. Now they don't want to even try to help and won't refund the deposit I made. THEY SOLS ME A LEMON AND THEY BOUGHT IT FOR 4599 AT AN AUCTION and sold it to me 16k. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! I paid $22,500 for a Corvette. It had been in a wreck which was deemed minor. after buying I found that my front rim was completely bent. A rear shock was broken, and the tires were the wrong speed rating for that car. then a week after a bought it the check engine light came on (po300) random misfires. After tune up the light still was there. I took it into Chevrolet dealer and was told that the engine was worked on to be able to pass a smog. The internal engine was damaged and the car is junk. they have a smog station on there car lot. I would not trust any smog on any car on there lot. I understand there are warranties but the fact they sale a car like this is bad business. I lost 22,000 which I paid cash for this car.I have hired a lawyer and have documents from a technician proving that the car was damaged before purchase and plan on pursuing this matter.
