Maybe if April improved her customer service skills a little bit it would might would make things better. Her nonchalant attitude did not sit well with me only because I asked for a receipt which I did get four days later. The actual groomer was just okay. My dog had uneven areas on her first when I specifically requested something else and I am not sure if her anals were even expressed. I paid in cash but the groomer said he does not have a receipt or a business card. So when I called April for a receipt that nonchalant attitude just kind of turned me off and her reply was I don't give receipts what kind of business doesn't give you a receipt when you pay in cash I don't know but that was my experience never again and I do not recommend it read more

What a complete nightmare!! Our dogs nail was cut way too short. It bled for hours, our dog was uncomfortable AND needed a trip to the vet because it kept bleeding whenever he'd walk. He's special needs and it was on the leg that was paralyzed at birth, making things worse when he scrapes the nail walking. He is 7 months old and already had this terrible experience to remember. The groomer didn't seem experienced, they didn't have anything to remedy the situation and instead proceeded to rinse it with water?! She was definitely rushing as I watched her do it. Probably because they showed up an hour late. April was attentive to the situation because we still needed to pay for the service as the groomer working on our dogs left in a hurry. I spent hours cleaning up the mess and April was very unsympathetic, telling me "Groomer came out and the service was done the nail was just cut a little too short". He needs another bath now because he has blood all over him April!!! He's in pain and discomfort!!!! On top of that, a trip to the vet. After her third attempt in two hours (starting at 8 am) to receive payment I tell her "she'll get her money and not to worry, I'm driving" She responds "Always every day lol " Needless to say she's very lucky she received $295 for our two pets, AFTER her $25 discount. The dog could've bled to death. It wasn't handled properly and they are totally unprofessional. And this all is a joke to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll find another biweekly grooming service for our two dogs from now on. Her loss, she didn't want to make things right. Oh and the other dog was washed so rough they ripped the mole on her back so she has blood stains on her coat too. Take your dogs here if you want a $160 blood bath. read more

There's a reason this place only has two stars. Sadly, Yelp was not checked before This device was booked. Any good dog groomer with even a little bit of experience knows dogs need their coats for protection against the heat and the cold. Their skin is so much thinner than ours and they are at risk no matter what time of the year it is. So needless to say the owner was shocked when she received her dog and he had been shaved. She asked for the cut on the top, and she received the Edward Scissorhands cut that you see on the bottom. They offered to fix it but what is there to fix? Do they have hair extensions for dogs? The only thing that should've been fixed at this point was the amount paid, and should've been offered a full refund. All jokes aside this was a real disappointment. I would like to think that owners look at their reviews, take things into consideration when there are numerous complaints and really learn from those lessons. Very pleased with grooming from Aprils Furry tails. Both my Maltese and golden doodle were given haircuts and nail trims. Also provided little massages for them. The smell of the products used were amazing. Which made me very happy because my golden doodle hates certain scents and will try and roll in the grass of he would come from another groomer. My two Labradoodles ended up with skin rashes and ear infections after requesting their service for the very first time. I took both of them to the veterinarian to check what caused their health issues and I was told by my veterinarian that my babies got a bacterial infection due to the instrument used by the groomer not being properly sanitized. I reached out to the owner to explain my concerns so other client's pets will not get the same incident, but the owner did not show empathy and dismissed my concerns. Very disappointed with their service. I trusted my babies to this company and the lack of accountability to their poor sanitation is unbelievable. This was my first time using this service. However, once the groomer finish cutting my two Labradoodles, I gave the groomer my credit card to pay the bill. I was not informed that the groomers cannot take the money. so I had to call the owner to get the information to make the payment. In the meantime I was doing errands and inform the owner that I will send them the payment as soon as I get home. Prior to me getting home I got a rude text from the owner as if I was trying to run out on paying her for the service. I made an appointment for a bath and brush for my standard poodle and they showed up 30 min late. She was extremely rude to me and told me "she may not be able to clean her ears if she tries to bite her you'll have to take her to the vet". Not even 10 minutes after I dropped her off I got a call saying I had to go pick her up because she bit the her twice. She's never bit anyone before and has gone to the groomers 4 times before and they had no issues with her. I told the guy specific instructions that I want to groom him and do a trim cut. After 30 minutes he finished and no one grooms a dog in 30 minutes so I saw him and I was in pure shock my dog was all shaved he used to be so fluffy now he looks like a dog that has been starving on the streets. After a couple of hours I saw that my dog was kicking his butt and I saw a huge red spot in gushing blood and I knew it was the groomer and I sent a picture of the dog first to the lady and she replied I think the dog is cute she was trying to be smart ass so please don't bring your dog here I have never seen my dog in pain so much so please guys DONT BOOK HER read more

I used April's service and cannot describe the elation I feel. My babies are old, have skin tags, tumors and one is blind. The gentlemen that came over were THE BEST in the business. They truly cared for my lil geriatric angels, without a single nick or razor rash. They have skin tags and have extremely sensitive skin yet my trusted groomers did an AMAZING job. Also, April agreed to monthly, recurring appts but, didn't follow through on the date SHE suggested according to HER schedule. I understand that small businesses and humans make mistakes but, when asked about the gap in appointments, April's reply was unapologetic and ignored her accountability in the matter. Stay away from this business. The wort service ever. My dog has a small pimple in the middle of his eyes and told the guy that has to be careful with the face. But, he shaved exactly the part where the pimple is and my dog was bleeding and in pain. I was outside waiting when I hear my dog yelling and crying. Inmediately, I started knocking the door and after 3 minutes the guy (who speak spanish) left with my dog bleeding. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I asked him why didn't he take more attention and care to this part if he saw the pimple. He answered me: I have 25 years doing this and you are not going to tell me what to do. I answered him: Yes I will tell you what to do because he is my dog and my son. He answered me: Good for you that you gave birth dogs.... This is the kind of service these people gave me. My dog was cut and I was insulted, all for $120. When I called April to let her know she apologized and just told me that it was a scab and if he is still bleeding she can give me a veterinarian phone number. But, then told me the following: "also walking your baby into a salon is much cheaper for next time. $120 is for luxury of ppl staying home and service coming to home. It is only for if you can afford it not for everyone salon much cheaper. I recommend that to pple who want to pay less..." I ask myself: who is she to tell me what kind of service I should take? How did she deduct if I can pay more or less for a service? When I never touched the payment. So, how do these people choose their clients? If I speak spanish, should I go to the regular salon? If I am black, I cannot pay $120? So, what kind of people can pay $120 in a mobile pet salon according with her mind. The worst experience of my life. read more
