Originally was gonna have to wait over 3 weeks for an appointment but they were kind enough to squeeze me in last minute which I appreciated, however the grooming felt a bit rushed (just over 1 hour) as a result. Their slick van parked right outside and it appeared very clean inside. My dog is a senior and gets anxious so I was hoping it would be a better experience than a busy, loud salon. He still put up a fuss with the mobile groomer but he did come out looking clean and fluffy. Sounded like the groomer would have kept going but my dog was getting too fidgety. The main downside is of course the price. I was expecting $140 for bath and trim as quoted but it wound up being $160 (pre-tip) since I wanted some more fur taken off. The way I look at it, it's $80 for the bath/grooming, $40 for the at-your-door convenience, and $40 for the private one-on-one sesh. Plus tip on top of that. Is that worth it to you? You make the call. I'm sure a lot of rich LA folks wouldn't balk at it. I wish my dog was less fussy, but had to give it a try at least. Since my dog didn't really vibe and let the groomer do her full thing, I just can't afford another session at that price tag. read more

UPDATE: Connor has never complained about Titan's behavior and has ALWAYS SAID HE LOVED HIS "PUPPY ENERGY"! By the way, he is 6, not 5! All of your feedback is lies!! Every ounce aside from Connor taking time off! Titan has never scratched Connor and if he was such a problem, why continue to groom him? Are you that desperate that you are willing to be abused by a dog? Connor didn't even notice bleeding on his neck until I told him it was bleeding! He said he didn't know where it came from! If Titan had wounded him, wouldn't he have noticed at the time of injury? Explain that! Connor didn't have planned vacation and told me that life got out of control and he needed to take care of some things! His words, not mine! The delay in seeking care was because CONNOR RECOMMENDED WE GIVE IT A FEW DAYS (see picture)! Also, his vet was not available IMMEDIATELY! You attack every single reviewer so I expected it! I literally waited with bated breath for your attack! I have never sent a picture of Titan to you all aside from INJURIES and your POOR SERVICE regarding his ear infection! Post proof of the picture sent previously! It doesn't exist!!! You failed to mention or respond to my video of Connor telling Titan to "SHUT UP" while grooming him! What about that???? FUTURE CLIENTS, take heed and a warning! If they attack every reviewer who doesn't post positive feedback, they will do it to you too! Buyer beware!!! ¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥ Lilly's was recommended by a relative. My dog is a small breed white long haired dog. He is still in his puppy stages albeit he is not a puppy. He warmed up to Connor, owner, and one of the tactics to get my pup to transition from my arms to his by backing into him was a priceless tool that we use to this day. My pup was on a regular regimen wherein he was groomed on a 3-4 week basis. One time, we weren't able to get an appointment on this cadence but, was always groomed regularly with whitening shampoo. The costs varied from $130-140. Price was never an issue because we wanted the best services for him. I always provided a sheet with how I wanted him groomed as we're very particular about his care. This particular time, my pup started shaking his head fiercely and constantly. I looked in his ears and they were caked up and filled with smelly brown matter. It was frightening. I took him to the emergency vet, and he was diagnosed with a severe ear infection that had to have started and grown from lack of cleaning for months and his ears were more than likely not filled with cotton when being shampooed. Cotton in floppy eared dogs is a must. I also took him to his regular vet for a follow up and they agreed with the emergency vet. He was treated with antibiotics and ear cleaning solution was sent home for my own maintenance. There is absolutely no reason for my pup to have this issue as he was groomed regularly by Connor. Once contacted, Connor made the excuse that it was due to his missing one grooming due to scheduling. I refuted. I discontinued services. Because we couldn't continue to take my pup to his former groomer in Seal Beach, our former residence, we decided to give Connor another try. Connor insisted on waiving the fees to keep our business. From this point on, we slowly restored our faith in Lilly's. Recently, our cadence was interrupted due to unexpected time off by Connor! No problem here as we still maintain him aside from his fur getting dirty, which is normal as he is a white/buff dog. My pup was brought to my door after a grooming Connor. As I was paying him, he dropped to his knees and acted awestruck that my pup was bleeding from both eyes. I was shocked and picked him up. Connor then said it was probably due to him cleaning his caked up eyes. I knew this wasn't the case as, again, my pup was always maintained so much that he didn't have the typical black eye staining most white dogs have. I was alarmed. After a day or so, I messaged Connor letting him know that my pup's eyes were leaking a greenish discharge and the corners were swollen. Connor advised again, based on his "vet tech" colleague that it was due to my pup's eye crusting buildup. I took him to the vet and they advised that it was indeed cut by the groomer and that a groomer should know to not get that close to his eyes. They provided a prescription for the injury. To my advantage, I took a pic of my pup a day before servicing and his eyes were not caked up with crust (see attached). Before all of this took place, my mother advised that Connor told my pup to "SHUT UP" as he was whining while being groomed (whining is his typical behavior) and Connor should be used to it. I didn't believe it until I looked at our Ring video and for sure, he did indeed tell my pup to "SHUT UP"! Connor always refuses to accept ownership or accountability for his mishaps. We trusted him with our pup. He failed us twice. Never again. We will commute to our old groomer for services. read more

My dog had a grooming appointment yesterday and he could barely open his eye afterwards. When I called I was told that it may have been shampoo that got in his eye, but I ended up needing to go to the urgent care and it turns out my dog had a scratch on his cornea and had to get on antibiotics. It's unsure if it was the burn from the shampoo that made him scratch or if he was scratched, but there was definitely negligence. I spent $360 at the urgent care, my dog's eye is still barely open and lily's was still determined to tell me that this happens regardless of the experience of the groomer. Although they didn't charge me for the grooming, they refused to admit to their negligence and the fact that they had a sub groom my dog because his groomer was out sick. My dog is almost 14 years old and this has never happened to him before at any of the groomers we've had. I hope he doesn't lose his eye sight and that he heals, but I'm definitely not going back to lily's. read more
