    This library is located near the Surprise civic center. There is a lovely pond and trail just…read moreoutside of it. You can enjoy the view from the large picture window within the facility. Although I am not a resident of Surprise or Arizona for that matter, I was able to sign up for a free library card. I even got to choose my library card design that was created by residents in an annual contest. They have a variety of services here that you will find at other libraries across the country. You can check out physical books or download the Surprise Library app and find links to the Hoopla and Libby apps for free digital content downloads including movies, TV shows, podcasts, audiobooks, music, and more. They have laptops and WiFi devices available, but there seems to be a very long wait for these. People can check them out for a 3-week period. You can also use computers there at the facility. I loved seeing a group of friends playing games at a table. There was also a Seed Library for people wanting to grow their own plants. The Library of Things (LOTs) seems to be popular for kids to checkout toys. My favorite item was the cultural pass. They had available passes to a variety of museums and cultural establishments. You could checkout a pass and use it within a seven day period. I wanted to checkout the free pass to the Phoenix Art Museum. Unfortunately, this branch didn't have one available at the moment I came in, but the staff was kind enough to direct me to another branch that had it and they held it for me since they knew I was on my way. The pass was good for two free admissions to the art museum. This saved us over $50. What an amazing service offering! There are countless events on the calendar, especially for young families. It's definitely worth visiting your local branch to find entertainment and educational resources to enrich your life.

They are loud, noisy, crying, screaming... not the place to go. This is a library not a playground. People are there to study. I do there often to study and one day a got came in screaming "taxi, taxi." With all due respect, the librarians game a responsibility to keep the place quiet and they do not. So if you need a quiet place, don't come here.

The water quality here is so bad we are afraid to let our dogs drink it. The fees are pretty high for water, but that's not my main complaint. My main complaint is the customer service. They are all useless. If you call customer service, they clearly don't know what they are doing. I got shut off once because we could not afford the $250 bill because I am disabled and my wife's hours were cut. Sure, that's partially on us cause we couldn't afford it, but they didn't really work with us to help us pay it either. After we were able to get the money to pay the bill, (they make you pay it online then verify the confirmation number over the phone). The lady told us the water would be back on the same day with no extra fee.. then later in the same call stated "Oh, there will be a reconnection fee now cause it's after 3pm, do you want to wait until tomorrow to avoid the fee?" No! I do not want to wait in Arizona summer heat to have my water turned back on! Also, their online chat does not work. It redirects you to wait for an agent, then disconnects you. So I used the message system they have on their site to complain about it and all they said was "we know it's broken." Then why is it still an option for customers? They push for customers to use it even! Also, whenever I use the message system, I don't get good answers back, they always state the obvious and don't address my questions or problem. Lastly, their website doesn't break down your bill when you want to pay, and for some reason a lot of the time it schedules the payment for the next day instead of taking it right out, especially on weekends. I feel like for such a big company this shouldn't be a problem. TLDR; Epcor customer service is frustrating as their reps are not very good and/or poorly trained, their online chat is broken, replies through their website message system only state the obvious, are limited responses, and are not helpful in any way. The online payment system is not efficient and could be better for such a big company.

I'm glad I did the lady that took my photo was very friendly and she asked me if I thought the photo was OK and I was like Yep beautiful love it. I look so much less crazy now!! additionally, I also had to renew my registration and upgrade to a handicap plate or whatever upgrade downgrade whatever you wanna call so I got all that done in one shot. So the convenience and also the friendliness of being able to actually get a decent photo is worth the price. that said it's pretty expensive. But it is nice to have options.     Horrible Service, Unprofessional and Disrespectful Staff!…read more I would give zero stars if I could. My experience at West Valley Motor Vehicle Services was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, the staff was rude and completely unhelpful. They barely explained anything to me, and when I had questions, I was met with short, dismissive responses. They didn't even take the time to properly explain the process, which meant I had to come back to finish things that could've been handled during the first visit. To make things worse, they spent the entire time speaking in Spanish, laughing and making fun of me. I could tell they were talking about me, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed. It was clear they didn't care about customer service or making me feel like a valued customer. I've never felt more disrespected or belittled in a place that is supposed to be there to help. This place needs a serious overhaul in both its staff and its treatment of customers. I will never return to West Valley Motor Vehicle Services, and I highly recommend you avoid it if you want to avoid frustration, embarrassment, and terrible service.
