We are so lucky to have found Salisbury Excavation. When it came to the home project I had in mind,…read moreI wasn't sure what kind of company I needed to hire, or where to even begin. I came to yelp and typed a general forum of what I was looking for and luckily, that forum was sent to Salisbury Excavation. Chris got back to me right away and offered to come give me an estimate on the job that day! He came and took measurements of the our current project and even took extra measurements of another project we hope to have done in the future just so we could get an idea for numbers. Chris was timely and very knowledgable on his line of work. I was very transparent with Chris on my lack of knowledge in this realm of things, and he was patient and descriptive on what to expect. I had the bid for my project that evening, and the next morning, we were setting up for him to come. They finished our project today, and let me just say, the whole process was amazing. Chris was super thorough, honest, and helpful with everything. As a woman in her 20s, I have found it's hard to find businesses that don't try to take advantage of you for your lack of experience or knowledge in their line of work, but Salisbury Excavation threw that belief out the window. Chris went above and beyond in helping us and we are excited to do business with him again and recommend him to everyone we know in need of his type of service. Thank you, Chris!!

A fair quote was given within minutes of reaching out. Communication was clear and prompt. The work was completed better than hoped and quicker than I thought possible. 0 stars. I called because my cat was up on their srp tower for 12 hours, clearly he was stuck. I…read morecalled to see if they could remove him before anything tragic happens. The lady informed me he has to be stuck for 48 hours before they can come help. She encouraged me to put food down at the bottom of the pole to entice him to come down. I'm not too sure how or what happened but he ended up off the pole and unfortunately deceased. I called the lady to have my ticket cancelled and to see if the "48 hour policy" could be changed. I got a "management will look into it". That's unacceptable, I now get to explain death to my three year old. I requested a call back from management and the lady said "a request for what, what do they need to call back about?!" I'm pissed and heartbroken. This could have been prevented. The employees are heartless! UPDATE: no one from management has reached out to me. I called and they offered a $35 credit to my account. Not good enough for me, my cat is more than a $35 credit. I would like someone from corporate to reach out or I'll be happy to take things further as far as legal actions. 48 hours for a cat to be stuck is absurd! They'll die after 72 hours without water.

(31 years in the AZ sun) He cleaned up some damaged wires, and replaced all breakers. Installed a surge suppressor to bring to code also. Not inexpensive, but just bought 30 years of peace of mind! Chis is a pro that has earned his stripes. Skilled, competent, and personable. Take care of him, BB!

Beware! Appears that this "locally owned company" was purchased by a private equity group (Flint…read moreGroup is the platform company with General Atlantic being the private equity firm). We ultimately paid way too much for a basic 50 gallon hot water heater swap (bundled price of almost $3000). I was out of town and my wife was busy with work when this happened. We had used Bumble Bee Plumbing in the past and trusted them. That trust has been broken and will never return. My wife left a Google review. There was a response posted as "response from the owner" which left a phone number of 602-813-0298 to call so we could speak with their "manager" to address our concerns. I tried to call that number twice...it's been disconnected! Do your research, get multiple bids and verify that the company you are calling is truly LOCALLY OWNED and has not been rolled up under some private equity structure. We have all seen countless stories about how private equity could care less about the customer and how they leave a trail of destruction and debt in the end. It's largely about profits, margins and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization). This is the valuation metric that's referenced (with a multiple applied) when they sell. In most cases, that's ultimately ALL PRIVATE EQUITY FIRMS CARE ABOUT! It's a sad yet not surprising story on the fleecing of America! All I can say about Bumble Bee Plumbing is my experience was very different this time and it appears that since my last time using them, private equity has gotten involved. I'll let you draw your own conclusions! Would love to see a customer advocacy/awareness story on one of the local news affiliates about how private equity has consolidated so many previously locally owned trade businesses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical). This might be a good starting point for that type of story.

I was a Phx resident for over 20 years and the services in that city are outstanding. I knew it would be hard to beat their library services, which are gorgeous facilities and well stocked. With that said though, Glendale has a reciprocity agreement so now I can use both. YEAH! When I arrived at the 59th location I was treated well and greeted by a friendly librarian who signed me up and did a great job explaining everything. This is a smaller branch and not as large or well stocked as the Phx locations but the facilities are very nice. It will do just fine. What was really fun was on the way home driving out of the parking lot I got to stop for a Peacock crossing, I was like, "Waaaaaaaaaa?" Then I realized they were out walking from the nearby awesome park they live at. So fun and cool!!!! Weird to have to stop in a parking lot to let Peacocks cross living in Phoenix Arizona and all. lol - I hope when you are there you watch out for them. I keep thinking most people might not expect them and might hit them if they drive unsafe. I would go back to this branch just to see the Peacocks. Ha!

I cannot say enough good things about Tim! Tim quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was going on, and had the repair taken care of right away. He even connected us with a water restoration company, who was able to come out the same day to address the water damage. On top of the incredible response time and service, his pricing was extremely affordable -- honestly much less than I expected for an emergency call with such a fast turnaround. Having water suddenly coming through your ceiling is incredibly stressful, and Tim made the whole situation feel manageable from the moment he arrived. Fast, knowledgeable, honest, affordable, and genuinely helpful. We will absolutely call him again for any future plumbing needs and would recommend him without hesitation!

I was optimistic about this company because of good reviews on Google and Yelp and Nextdoor. While…read morethe cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure.
