I purchased a Raypak pool heater from Aqua Supercenter due to their on-line price and availability. Once one week had passed and I hadn't received any shipping information, we contacted them and they assured it would shipped shortly and they would follow up with an email and phone call. Neither occurred. Another several days passed and we contacted them again, the customer service rep assured us the CEO was looking in to this and would contact us within 24 hours - again this never happened. Nearly 3 weeks passed and still nothing. We contacted them again demanding a refund. Again, the customer rep assured us the CEO would contact us, apologized and said a refund would be granted. It's been 4 days since and still no refund! This purchase has now been reported to my bank as fraudulent. read more

November 11, 2022 A replacement pump motor was ordered on 11/3/22. My CC was immediately charged by TopPoolSupply.com, which I assume is a sister business. Aqua Supercenter and Top Pools have the same phone number, which is out of service. I also tried to call using the phone number that's listed on the CC charge; again, it's out of service. These people can't be contacted by phone, don't reply to email, and don't respond to their online chat service. Now.... Here is where the issue comes in... Aqua Supercenter has not received ANY money from our merchant processor since August. We are NOT a small company either, to give you an idea out of full transparency - we averaged $25K++ per day in August/September (so as you can imagine, it adds up FAST). We have still been shipping orders daily and I personally have been in multiple conversations with our merchant provider. They state that they can not tell us why (other than it's from 'risk management' - so my assumption is that the merchant processor is trying to protect itself due to the major increase in bankruptcies due to COVID-19). I'd gladly continue with business as normal; but again my talks with the person in charge of our merchant processor account told us to continue shipping orders and they will 'check in on us bi-weekly' - but he could not give me any idea of 'if' and 'when' they will fund us. We sell over 12K items, so the majority of our inventory we buy from suppliers; which requires us to pay upfront (so if you think about it: this creates a major DOUBLE loss for us - as remember we are not getting any of the money that you have paid for your pool supplies... YET, to fulfill the orders we have to pay for the product so each day, to fulfill all orders we have to pay $25K pure cash out of our bank account with ZERO incoming money.... this added up fast). I wanted to explain as we hear "you took our money and are not shipping our order" recently. Part of that is true, but we have not received any funds. We have shipped 100% of orders we were paid for. The lady said the item where back ordered and I'd have it end of October. I said no big deal cause they where for next summer. Aqua Supercenter located in 1680 Fruitville Rd STE 515, Sarasota, FL 34236 is an ABSOLUTE SCAM. They list on their website that that they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which is not the case since I've looked it up at this point. That is where I filed my original complaint. I ordered pool filters on August 20, 2020 because their website claimed to have them in stock. After about a week with no update. though they charged my credit card right away, I called and was told they didn't actually have them in stock and would be issued a refund. I have not yet received a refund for my purchase and now can't even get a hold of them. They don't answer phones, return voicemails or emails or deliver on the products they've charged for. If you don't have the products, that's ok. But then don't charge consumers and then REFUSE to provide a refund. Not sure what kind of business this is, but clearly, something very ILLEGAL is going on. Definitely should've read ALL reviews prior to trusting this place. read more

Then on October 12, 2020 they are saying that they will not ship and will not refund me my money. They said that I would need to do a chargeback request with the credit card company that was used and that they (aqua supercenter) will accept it and we would not need to do anything further. I finally got a hold of someone on the phone and went through what happened and the best the could do was to refund half the money. The receiver sent a photo of a used cartridge, so there was some funny business going on and they would not send a photo of the allegedly wet shipping box. We placed an order with AquaSuperCenter in July for a pool light. We were charged for the light the same day we ordered. In August we cancelled the order because the light had still not been shipped. It is now September and we cannot get anyone to return our call or respond to our emails. One of the worst experience in the last 2 years. This looks almost like a scam. Ordered a Zodiac pool suction cleaner and got debited on August 15th. Web site indicated that item was available in stock ready to be shipped. After two weeks with no news, contacted the vendor and got told that a manager would look into why things were stuck and call me back. Call never happen.. Called again following day received same story. Again call never happen... Eventually got fed up and called to ask that my order get cancelled and refunded. Clerk told me she understood and that she cancelled my order and that I should receive an e-mail confirmation and see the credit on my account 4-5 working days later. After 7 days with no e-mail and no credit decided to fill a complaint with my bank to dispute the transaction. Don't order from here! I should have read the reviews prior to ordering but they were the only website that showed a sand filter in stock. It is 4-6 weeks special order even though the website still says in stock. I had to contact them to find this out and get something else shipped. They said they couldn't ship it but their site says they are shipping 7 days a week. The first part of my order arrived yesterday and the filter base is damaged. I sent them an email but don't expect a response. It took a week to get my order. The only way I could reach anyone was through online chat. The phone is not answered and no messages are returned. 0 STARS. Worst on-line pool store ever. Placed an order for a pump strainer cover on Sept 8, 2020, which they had 8 on hand (would have been a small 1 lb package). They charged my credit card immediately. Website said they had 4 in stock. Called back 1.5 weeks later on Sept 17, and finally got through to someone after calling a minimum of 10 times. They put me on hold to check on my order, then disconnected the phone. They did call back and leave me a voicemail stating that they were no longer in stock. I couldn't accept this answer, so I called them back on the same day, once again, continuing to call until someone answered the phone. The next lady stated that they have 6 in the warehouse and they wouldn't be able to ship until the following week, due to COVID-19 (yeah, let's continue to use that excuse) and their shipping resource availability. Called back today, Sept 28, getting the initial answer that they don't have any in stock and won't see any till January 2021. Asked them to cancel my order and credit my account. They told me it would be 48-72 hours before I see a credit. So why did it take less than 30 seconds to hit my Credit Card acct when they charged me, before even shipping the part?
