My sister referred me to Duncan Home Services having used them recently for a refrigerator repair…read moreand being thoroughly satisfied. My washing machine was making a weird and very loud noise so I called them. They were able to schedule me to fit into my busy schedule. Fixing the noise turned out to be a simple job, no parts, minimal labor. What impressed me the most was the high level of knowledge and experience of the technician. I learned my washer is near the end of its life cycle because some components are worn out. It makes more sense and would be more cost effective to replace the washer than replace the worn out parts. I can still use the machine and do my laundry but I now know my timeline of when to replace the machine. My out of pocket expense today was the $119 basic service call charge because no parts were needed and the labor to repair it was very minimal. I was notified 30 minutes in advance of their arrival time.

My stove started arching, sparking and smoking on a Tuesday night. I sent Duncan a service request…read moreand they called me back early the following morning, during normal business hours. They set me up an appointment for Thursday between 8AM and noon. Fast forward to Thursday, I recived a text message that my technician was on the way at around 830 and he showed up a little after 9. The technician was almost immediately able to diagnose the problem with the stove. He had the part that needed to be replaced in his car and fixed the issues right on the spot. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. My stove was working and he was off to his next appointment in less than an hour. I believe the price to be fair and on board with other repair services. I also believe that I could not have gotten my stove repaired any faster. I am glad to have contacted them. They made an inherently stressful situation less stressful.

Awful Service! Came to provide a second opinion on my oven, took 15 mins didn't do anything but…read moreturn it on. Told insurance it had no mechanical issues. Used it that day, lost all power again, dead again unusable. Idiots

The repair tech did not do standard troubleshooting steps to diagnose the problem with the…read morerefrigerator and went straight for needing to replace the main system board. After him spending an hour on his earpiece and talking to someone else, he came back with the main system board is bad. didn't even do normal troubleshooting steps of putting the system in ff mode which beeps annoyingly to force the compressor to run so that was kind of odd. After he left and I patiently waited for the quote, I finally received it a few hours later to the tune of 228.20 for the part (which the part is under $100 when looking) and 239.99 to install said part (low grade board that requires no programming but is just plug and play). Being the person that I am, I chose not have them replace the main board but knowing what the problem that he identified, I did a little digging and used appliance parts pros to look up the board in question. That board from them ended up being $50. I moved the fridge back out and decided to look a little further to see what was possibly done. Well, when I opened the cover for the condenser coil, I noticed that it wasn't cleaned. This was kind of odd given the myriad of Youtube university videos that I watched on this subject. The first step most had talked about was making sure the condenser coils were clean and free of dust and debri. So I removed the blanket of dust that was on the condenser coils and vacuuming everything, I started to turn to the rest of that area. I started looking at the condenser fan and low and behold, a set of eyes looking in my direction. It was a mouse that was wedged in the fan blade and housing. Hmmmmm,... it was seeming more obvious once I noticed the mouse/fan issue that my problem was more than likely due to a rodent than a board issue. After extracting the vermin, I cleaned up the rest of the lower end of the condenser area and made sure nothing else was there. I powered on the fridge and checked to make sure the fan was running and tested the high and low lines as well as making sure the compressor wasn't too hot. I then checked the boards to see if the indicator light was flashing or if it was solid on when the compressor was running. all looked normal so I let it run overnight and what do you know, the refrigerator temp is 35 degrees and the freezer is 0. Go figure! I don't want to speculate but I would say that someone was looking for some easy money and I wasn't having it! Glad I checked because something just didn't seem right. Needless to say, I do not recommend Greenwood appliance repair to do any work on any appliance due to the fact that I tried calling the number to talk to a manager regarding this issue and inform them that their tech didn't do basic troubleshooting necessary prior to recommending a board but apparently, they are just a dispatch company and subbing the work out! No Show - Unprofessional and Disappointing Service…read more We had a scheduled service within a confirmed time window, but no one showed up -- and we received no call or update. I had to follow up myself just to find out what was going on. We requested the first available appointment, yet they couldn't even commit to or communicate a time slot. Completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, this company was assigned through our stove manufacturer, and the appliance is still under warranty. This reflects poorly on both the service provider and the manufacturer. We expected better coordination and accountability.

I contacted LG customer service, which referred me to a Mr. Appliance location out of town. That employee referred me to this location. I called and got right through, setting up an appointment for my preferred date and time. I was texted the day before with a time window for my estimate. Jacksen, the tech arrived at the predetermined time. He was quite friendly and explained that pulling the dent out probably would still leave a spot. He gave me the repair options and eventually quoted me a price for a new door. Still less than a new refrigerator...and frankly, I like mine so I want to keep it! He did mention due to shipping delays. It could take up to six weeks to receive the door. No problem, magnet went back on for a disguise In the meantime. I was contacted around 3 weeks later and my door had arrived! Jacksen came back with a partner to install. They were prompt and even cleaned up after themselves! I did have one minor issue with the divider between the two doors not closing correctly. I called the company once more and Jacksen came back to adjust. He took maybe ten minutes to fix the issue, and again was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd use Mr. Appliance again (although I hope I don't need to for awhile)!
