This by far has to be the worst customer service I've ever received. 0 stars if that was possible ELIZABETH should not be working at this company she told me after a week of scheduling that their driver couldn't make it.. OK that's unfortunate because we took the day off of work. that's not the issue She proceeded to raise her voice at me and said " HOW IS THIS MY PROBLEM" "GOODBYE!" excuse me? "I'm CANCELLNG YOUR APPOINTMENT GO TALK TO YOUR WARRANTY PROVIDER" You're employed at a company to do your job... reschedule me and provide a solution. not raise your voice and come up with excuses. She needs to be educated on how to TALK to customers like human beings, not like a BRAT and yell. The office manager was very rude if you're in a business it's not OK to yell because the customer has a question it's not OK to raise your voice and it is certainly not OK to hang up on a customer. Because my washer and dryer are out of warranty it gives you the right to be rude that's not OK as a business. I was trying to see if I could afford the fees to get my dryer fixed I understand if you don't know I was asking for a ballpark Aquarius wanted to change 240 just to come out! I am not writing about the service of the technicians but the lady who answers the call is very rude, she yells and screams without even asking for the problem. I have a dishwasher and under warranty with fridgidair. The company sent me to them to get it repaired, and she speaks like I owe her something. This is my second equally impressive experience with Aquarius and Brad S. - their technician extraordinaire. Not sure how much of a recommendation this is for Frigidaire refrigerators but it is certainly an endorsement of extended warranties. Brad did a great job on an entirely different issue a couple of years ago. He was assigned the current repair and not only remembered us but what he did on the last visit. He impresses me as very knowledgeable and gets things right the first time. He explains things clearly, is a good communicator, and works efficiently. I can't say enough about the quality of his service and by implication, Aquarius who should make sure they keep this gem on their staff. When I made an appointment to have our stove looked at, I told Samantha that our stove is over ten years old. It didn't seem to make a difference to her and she quoted me $155 for the diagnostics and that it will be waived if we decided to get it repaired. When the technician, Louie, came into our home for the appointment, the first thing he asked was the age of the stove. We told him that it's over ten years old. Without even looking at the stove, he already determined that we need a new one and gave me a whole spill of how once a stove is over 5 years old, it's not worth repairing. So why the heck did Samantha booked us for an appointment when they could've told us that over the phone? Oh yeah, the $155 that they collect whether they repair the appliance or not. So he still looks at it and tells us we need a new board which is the brain of the stove. He also says that the board is no longer available because the stove is once again ancient. He tells us that even though IF the board is available, there's no use in repairing it because everything else will go down on the stove because once again, it's old. Moral of the story? If your appliance that needs to be repaired is over 5 years old, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are there to work on covered warranty work for other company (meaning newer appliances) and they do not believe in repairing anything over five years old as everything to them seems to be disposable now a days. read more

I have never been more mortified with a service tech or repair company than with Aquarius Appliance. I purchased my new Electrolux washer dryer set just over 1 year ago and had issues with a slamming noise so, under warranty I called and requested service. They sent a very sweet young man who replaced a couple pins and said he needed to order springs. Ok, noise still happening. Next tech said it was something else, ordered another part and called for senior tech which brings me to "George!" He first came out and told me it was my water inlet valve and my water was turned up too high, they replaced valve and reset machine and told me to turn down the water. He even forgot to put the balance weight back in the machine and had to open whole thing back up again to put it in! He leaves claiming it's fixed. Now, machine STILL made loud clunking noise and would shut off mid cycle and doors lock and not spin clothes. A NEW issue after their visit! Plus it has error code! I called and explained it's still making noise AND new issue. I decided to get Electrolux to send THEIR tech... unfortunately they screwed me with scheduling and sent the infamous "George!" AGAIN! I explained what's going on and told him if he could turn on regular cycle (not test cycle) for 5 min he would see the problem that no water is coming into tank. He told me it's "MY issue, nothing is wrong with his job, he's got 8 other customers and will NOT take 5 min because it's user error." Then he told me "the shaking sound is your pipes NOT the machine"..well why the heck didn't you say that the 1st 4times your people came out? Now I have a non working clanking machine and 3months back up of laundry and oh yeah..I'm a disabled mother of 4 boys with 2 rescue dogs and 6 rescue cats! I NEED my washer. I told him, if he can't fix it he needs to leave, he sat and argued with me so, I asked him AGAIN, 5 more times calmly to LEAVE, Then got nasty and told him to get the F out of my house or I'm calling police. He still is yelling at me mind you saying it's "My fault and he's going to send ME a bill and he's been doing this for 6 years blah blah blah!" He FINALLY walks out the door and as he leaves as loud as he can YELLS in front of my house.."WHAT THE FUC# IS HER PROBLEM?" so loud my neighbor 2 doors down called me to check on me. Fast forward 48 hours and 5 calls later, I FINALLY get an ACTUAL Electrolux tech (The amazing Bruce) to my house at the profuse apology of Electrolux corporate, and turns out the filter "George" installed was faulty! Ha!! In your face George! User error my, well...you get it! I have contacted both Electrolux corporate and Aquarius and was told he got a slap on the wrist but this man has no business being around customers with his attitude of superiority complex. I'm not one to want people to lose their job in this economy but when you treat another human like he did because you're too arrogant to be human, you don't deserve my kindness. THANKS For the stress George, I will send YOU my hospital bill for the stress induced ER visit. (Yes, I did end up in ER my illness is intensified with stress and my body shuts down) I was dismissed from every turn at this company even Elizabeth in the office was dismissive and didn't follow through and although some of the techs were quite pleasant and kind, they will ruin your machines with their lack of overall knowledge and I can't stress how I can't recommend them enough. Brad & Eric arrived prepared, on time, practicing all safety protocols, as was I. Masks, gloves, social distancing...very conscientious, courteous and professional. I had a problem with our Electrolux dryer under warranty. The tech explained what needed to be done, ordered the parts while here and told me he will be back when the parts are in. He also explained it was ok to continue using the dryer, but plus offering that in formation. It took about a week, they called, scheduled the service appointment, came out and fixed it. He put the dryer back exactly where it was before unlike some I have experienced that thought "that's good enough and is ok." read more

The technician from a previous service call with another service company never looked at the appliance and diagnosed it as a low voltage issue and that I needed a dedicated power outlet. ....so, we had had SO MUCH trouble with our dishwasher! Eventually, our dishwasher CRASHED at Christmas. Anyway, we called our landlord who consented to purchase a new dishwasher. YAY! Best landlord EVER!!! The installers hired by Home Depot came and installed last week....GREAT!! However, the dishwasher would not work after they left....BOO! We called Home Depot, Installer and finally, Manufacturer (Frigidaire). The manufacturer contracted with Aquarius Appliance Repair to come and remedy..........in a word? MAGNIFICENT!! They fixed the problem PLUS other issues we knew nothing about. All is working PERFECTLY now!! We would call Aquarius FIRST next time we have an appliance issue. read more

I called Aquarius Appliance Service to help solve an issue with my freezer door. I bought my Electrolux Icon refrigerator 8 years ago and have never had any problems with it until last week when the freezer door wouldn't open. I tried numerous things but to no avail. Aquarius sent out their service technician, Brad, to help solve the mystery. He suspected the ice maker inside might be the culprit. After pulling with all his might, he could hear ice breaking. There was enough space to insert a steaming device. It took nearly an hour to melt the ice build up around the tracks before it finally opened. It appears that the ice maker had been dripping for a long time because there was 1-1/2" thick ice on the bottom. It was a huge relief to finally get it open. Brad did an exceptional job diagnosing, problem solving and executing the solution with perseverance and a calm demeanor. It was a huge amount of effort and time, but he remained cheerful and determined. He was very informative as well, explaining the cause and how to help minimize it in the future. I'm also grateful that none of the food in my fully loaded freezer was lost. Other repair places suggested that I fully defrost the freezer and then they would come out. It was a pleasure working with Brad. I was so happy to have the door working again. Aquarius is lucky to have him on their team, he is a real asset to their business. read more

When I told them I had a confirmation email the representative yelled at me "that's not my problem if you have an email. The woman who works there is over worked and unfriendly. She needs to higher help for herself. The man who came to our home twice to work on our refrigerator did nothing. At the end of both visits he had no idea what was wrong with it. Honestly, I'm not sure he is qualified to work on refrigerators. They carry no parts on their trucks so they have to order everything. They "misplaced" our items that were ordered so we had to wait a week to see if it came in. However, I had the tracking number of the items and it said it was delivered a week ago. I had to call them and ask the woman to look for the packages! We never received emails from them when they said we would and they never contacted us first to explain anything that was happening, we always had to call them ourselves. If you are under warranty and this is the company that is being sent to your home, do yourself a favor and ask for a different company. Two months now without a working refrigerator in our home and they can't continue working on our refrigerator because this company is not certified to work on sealed system refrigerators. Where do I start? We bought brand new two laundry centers for our rental. And after second months of usage, both started not spinning out the water. The manufacturer warranty sent us a REALLY crappy appliance repair company. The first service appointment with this crappy company, they came and said they needed two people to test out the units. The two came out said it was the lock sensor that was faulty. When the part came, I specifically asked them to call a different phone number in an email to schedule to install the parts. They failed until I followed up and called them to scheduled two techs to come out. That was fine and when they came out, the way the install the part was one person on a laptop another installing the part. (WTH right!?!?) They said they tested and it's ready to go. After that call, the other unit was having the same problem. So we had to call the manufacturer the second demanding another company to take a look just to be sure. They sent the work order to Aquarius. Aquarius was speedy on available appointments. Called on Monday and came on Wednesday. I told Samantha about our crappy situation and told her that the last company said it was lock sensor was faulty, so it might be good if they bring that extra part so we can get this one fixed faster. Received an email from our tenant the first unit failed again, so I called the manufacturer to add this other unit onto our work order. Sara called us on Tuesday to confirm appointment even it wasn't the original time the manufacturer provided but it all worked out for the better. Lou called 30 mins before he arrived around 4:45pm with the part I mentioned to Samantha. He checked to make sure the units are not clogged. Then did full diagnostics. A completed different experience I had with the first company. The unit was giving an error code on how it was overloaded and too much soap. I asked my tenants to explain to him what's the issues with the units. He listened and explained to them they were putting too much soap and how they are supposed to put clothes into the units. We didn't finish the whole checking and running everything until another 2 hours (6:45pm!). The other company wanted to leave the minute they came... He mentioned he has only been in this job for 1.5 years but the way he performed tests and understand the appliance ins and outs showed he is much more knowledge. Even the appointment time wasn't the most ideal but it all worked out as the other appointment wouldn't really allow us to have our tenants tell Lou the issues we were having. Even we didn't use the part I asked Samantha to put it into the work order, but they listened! Thank you Lou and team! Overall, I would highly recommend them! Please continue with the great work! We bought a washing machine from Friedman's in Pleasant Hill but when the washer was installed, the lines got crossed and the spin cycle got messed up. They told us to contact Aquarius Appliance Services to have someone come out and fix our washer. It has been over a week and still, no one has come out to fix our washer. The first time we called, they told us the person we should speak with wasn't in the office. The second time we called (a few days later), a woman said they were falling behind but didn't give us a time or day that they would come out. We've called multiple times since and haven't heard back. We're very disappointed that we've had to wait, not just for service, but to speak with someone at Aquarius. read more

I have just had a great service from this company,and it was not easy as the tech Brad S had to totally remove the ice maker to replace one tiny wire. It took him almost 2 hours and I now have ice cubes which I haven't had for a very long time. I never though I would have ice cubes again until Electrolux and Aquarius took on the job. After three visits that my insurance scheduled with this company over the course of four months, they couldn't diagnose why my refrigerator was making a loud humming noise, why ice was building up in the refrigerator and food was freezing in the bottom drawer. They finally sent out someone from GE and he immediately said the fan wasn't working and the temperature inside the refrigerator was 66°. Finally my food is cold again. He diagnosed the problem right away as shipping bolts that were not removed by the Handyman installing the unit. My machine was back to working normally in no time. I wish I could give this half a star. Had 2 guys sent to our location, one looked like he was training and smelled of weed pretty bad. Wasted $220 just to get them to take apart my washer and say it was the hose that needed to be replaced. Then they looked at the fridge and automatically knew what was wrong they just touched the fridge to make it seem like it was diagnosed properly! I wish I looked up this company's reviews. Oh and the receptionist was not clear the first time I booked my appt she said it would be $150 for 1 appliance to be looked at or $110 for 2 appliances, not specifying that it was $110 for each the washer and the fridge. $100+ just to diagnose an appliance is ridiculous. read more

We purchased an oven from a local large home repair warehouse a couple of years ago, and luckily, purchased the repair insurance because the oven light went out and was impossible to remove. Corey from Aquarius Appliance Repair came out and diagnosed the problem and said he would have to order parts which he did and returned a week later. He fixed the light problem and then did something I had never seen before. He did a quick diagnostic of ALL the oven's functions and found a clogged tube in the center heater used for pancakes, etc. He fixed it so both tubes lit up correctly. Our new Frigidaire refrigerator was damaged on delivery. Aquarius ordered us a new door and installed it. Everything went smoothly from the phone communication to the install. The scheduler was very accommodating and easy to deal with. The repair person, George, went out of his way to make everything work... and also took the time to make some extra cosmetic adjustments just to make me happy. Whoa can't believe how consistently bad Aquarius' ratings are. I have had basically the same issue. We finished our unit, our tenants moved in, and the first time we run the dishwasher - flood!! My contractor comes out and says its a defective dishwasher. I'm referred to Frigidaire by Airport Appliance where I bought it (different story but clearly they should have just replaced it). They schedule a repair person to come out to fix the BRAND NEW dishwasher. Its a week that my tenant with two small children will not have a dishwasher so I'm annoyed, but accepting. Frigidaire sends out Aquarius Appliance services. Aquarius Appliance comes out, diagnoses the problem, and says it will be another 5-7 business days to get a part. 7 business days go by, no part. I call and talk to Sam who says nothing she can do its the distributor. 4 business days later they come out... and they still can't fix it! They say the first guy misdiagnosed. And it will be another "5-7" days for the new part! I'm begging Airport Appliance to give me a new unit so I don't have to wait another "5-7" business days for them to come back out to repair. read more

We were forced to call this service because they are the contracted warranty company from Airport Appliance. We put in a service call in early Sep. Sep 12th they put in an order for our parts. They said 10-14 business days. Todays 1 month since they "ordered" my parts. The worse customer care! I waited for two months for a fix to my electrolux dryer. The first time the Aquarius team came out they 'ordered the parts', the next time they came over they claimed that they were waiting for a factory fix....which after a month was just a new filter. I had to call several times and when they finally came out for the third time the 'technicians' were rude and cleaned out the filter that they could have done on the first service. Incredibly rude technicians, poor services and flat out useless. And in reading the other reviews....they do this consistently. read more

Do not ever ever call these people. My dishwasher stopped working one month before the warranty was out. Called Frigidaire and unfortunately Aquarius is the only one in my area. One week later a "tech" came out. Was here for an hour and said we needed a part. Ok. One week later comes back one hour again part is defective. It happens. One week later back. Gee its not the part it is the plug and the plug is not under warranty so we need to get a new plug and he will come back the next day. My husband takes the plug to an appliance store. Guess what THE PLUG IS FINE. I call Aquarius that same day Monday. Ask for a call back nothing. This morning called Frigidaire and told them to get me a new service. Gee at 3pm the same day i get a text from these people asking me to take a picture of the plug outlet blah blah blah. There is more to this but i think you get the point. Aquarius came to fix our freezer which was under Frigidaire warranty about 6 months ago. The technician seemed to have no clue as to what was wrong, so he decided to replace pretty much everything inside - compressor, control board etc. This was under warranty, so the manufacturer paid for it, so they maxed out their profit. not very honest, but not a big deal. However, it turns out that when they installed it, they caused a slow Freon leak due to bad welding (I had another technician come over and confirm that). When I called them to come fix what they did wrong, the answer was "We only provide 30 days warranty on our work, so any additional visit will incur a $85 fee". When I asked "So if you install the compressor badly, and it takes more than 30 days for the leak to manifest, you assume no responsibility for your work?" the answer was "correct". DO NOT USE AQUARIUS. Our experience has been terrible. They have come 3-times and we are still having issues with out dryer. We've been without a consistently working dryer for over a month. They have charged us over $500, we could have bought a new dryer at this point. Now they are not returning our calls and haven't resolved the situation. We have asked for a manager but no one will call us back. I have issues a reversal on my Credit Card charges and filed a BBB complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

A HUGE thank you to Brad for fixing our Frigidaire fridge. We had a unique custom fridge and it stopped getting cold so when we looked into replacing it, they no longer make the unit. At only 4 years old, our only choice was to get the unit fixed. Brad was incredible and knew exactly what to do to replace our entire cooling system - not an easy task and even involved welding.
