The technician installed the part, but unfortunately, that did not fix the issue. A new diagnostic revealed it was a different part and the manufacturer said they no longer make or supply it, so I would need to purchase a new oven. I was not upset about any of this, just a but bummed that I had spent several hundred dollars for a repair that didn't help. To my surprise, Gold Coast informed me they would be refunding all charges above the standard diagnostic fee, including what I paid for the part. The refund arrived a couple days later. I was highly impressed that they were willing to eat the cost of a part in order to maintain good customer relations. I was skeptical of initially contacting them because their website makes it seem as if they work on nothing but refrigeration, freezer, and ice machines. I am so happy to find out they work on all major appliances and I will definitely be calling them for any future needs.

He didn't have the part on hand, so I paid for the part and the service call. He estimated 7-10 business days, but they got it in just 3, so my oven was back up and running in less than a week. After he installed the igniter, we ran a test on all the functions and discovered the convection wasn't working. He pulled the stove out, ran a diagnostic, and showed me that the control board was burnt out and not getting power. Replacing it would run $600, so I chose to hold off since the oven itself works fine and I rarely use the convection feature but I'll definitely be calling them back when I'm ready, because a new range runs about $4K and that's not a conversation I want to have right now. Total cost for the igniter repair was $300. The tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done without any drama. I highly recommend Top Repair they'll get you up and running again without breaking the bank, and the quality of work is top notch.

Today, just over 90 days later, a part on the drum disintegrated during a wash load. I called Ali and asked him to come back today. Two other employees came and told me 1) the part was irreplaceable and 2) the work is out of warranty and 3) buy a new washer. Even when I have come up with some "small change". He always works with me to solve the problem. He is good at electrical, plumbing and construction. He has done small projects like solving why we have no cold water in the kitchen sink. He has installed a reverse osmosis system for us. I'd hire him if I were to remodel my kitchen or a bathroom. I have to say his creativity came out when I asked him to do something about the white painted kitchen cabinets. We bought them in November of 2025. Luis came out and installed the washer and dryer and took the old washer and dryer. We had a 2 month warranty. Everything was doing well until we moved out of the townhouse. The movers removed the washer and dryer from where it was located and the mess all on the wall and floor area was awful! The lint wasn't blowing outside through the trap but building up on the walls, hose that led outside and the floor. I took pictures of the area because I knew the property management will be charging me to clean up the area. I called Ferrer's Appliances and spoke to Luis and explained the situation. He told me there was nothing they could do and they were not going to pay for the charge I received based on their installation. I've attached a picture of the area! I'd highly recommend not using Ferrer's Appliances. We could have had a major fire because of the installation! I will be sending this to the Better Business Bureau as well!
