I got the paperwork done quickly, the go-ahead from the DOE and thought we were on track to begin the project. I was more than patient and understanding about the fact he had other wells to drill before he got to mine. I understand "island time" very well at this point. I was promised the "worst-case scenario" would be May 1. Fast forward SEVEN MONTHS and still nothing, but that's not the worst thing about dealing with this guy. He does not communicate with customers. You call, text, email, leave countless voicemails, smoke signals and NOTHING...NO response. Finally gave up being treated like he didn't value me as a customer, pulled the plug and walked away. And I'm not the only one he treated like this. There was another person on the island he was supposed to drill for after mine and he responded to them in the same way...crickets! And we're not talking about a low-budget project...there was considerable money on the table in this deal! You would think a smart business person would put forth a slightly better effort to earn the business. I mean how tough is it to send a text message? Do yourself a favor, select a different well drilling company and save yourself the headaches I experienced with M Sawyer Drilling & Pump Service. Consider yourself warned...stay away! I just wish someone had done the same for me.

My well pump failed on Saturday. Looked up well pump companies on google. I. called Brothers Sunday…read moremorning who had placed the existing pump 2005 and shown on sticker on pump controller. Their phone picked up by answering service and I asked to be called. Plumber called late morning Monday. Convenient for him? I also called Integrity Pumps and they had an answering machine referred me to Joe and a cell phone number that didn't accept calls or messages at all. I called Oasis Well and Pumps and left message. Keith the owner called me back in about 30 mins. Came out to test and estimate later same day on Sunday and then came out with pump hoist truck, new pvc pipe, new well pump, pump controller, pressure gauge and his employee Tyler. Even bought me a whopper for lunch. I spent some time with these two guys doing a meticulous job placing and testing the new equipment. Of note they also placed two anti drain valves in the 180 feet of pipe. This takes the weight of water column off your pump. Also wired in a pump off switch at the pump house and grounded the pump. None of those were done last installation. You can get by without it but alas it is code. The estimate I received was reasonable and more importantly Keith showed interest in actually answering their after hours calls. I was going to get competing bids but I didn't bother because if you can't be bothered to answer call to your sticker on my last pump I'm going to need better service. I value honest service from other businesses owned by responsible people in our town. I believe the price was quite good but don't underestimate the value of a company owner giving you his cell phone number, answering it and making immediate time to get your needs taken care of. I have 2 other wells needing initial pump installations. On all future well drilling, pump installs and service, I would not hesitate to call Keith at Oasis. Was lots of fun getting this job taken care of.
