    Passionfruit mojitos

Stumbled upon this place after walking around for quite some time. Turned out to be absolutely amazing. The service was great; they have open bar hour for $25 a person which we enjoyed. Their mojitos are to die for. We will definitely be coming back to this establishment before leaving Old San Juan!

Friendly bartender and great cocktails. Amazing tasting cocktails to refresh you if you are walking through old San Juan. Quick afternoon stop and it didn't disappoint. Would return.

    Fruit salad side. Absolutely fresh.

This little place is absolutely delicious. We stayed at the Gallery Inn around the corner and were happy to find this little gem that serves brunch until 3. Delicious fruit, salmon avocado toasts, French toast and even veggie breakfast sausages. Delicious and healthy.

The bartender prepares the herbs he'll set afire to smoke the glass before he pours the cocktail.

At this unpretentious bar in Old San Juan we were BLOWN AWAY with the quality and the artisanship of the cocktail craft-- by far the best cocktails we sampled in Puerto Rico. From the way the bartender smoked my glass with local herbs before he prepared my cocktail to the housemade tonic for a special gin and tonic, this place is awesome. It's not a fancy, upscale lounge. It looks like a neighborhood bar. It's a cool one, no doubt. It's a little dark and old, like much of OSJ. I'm only sorry I came here first, because no other bar we visited in San Juan took the same care that Aqui Se Puede did. Go there! If craft cocktails are your thing, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent chill environment! Tony is full of local history and a very inviting personable host. Matt is a incredible craftsman and greeting to all. Eduardo plays amazing music, all the while with an incredible smile. Clean, easy going, cheerful, great prices...what more can I say?! During our honeymoon stay we've found this to be a hidden gem!

Really great bar. Small, intimate and classy. Their featured alcohol is rum. Enjoy their mixologist as he makes you unique drinks for a very reasonable price all while enjoying their 1930s jazzy atmosphere. Way more than just your average bar.

This was my favorite bar in all of San Juan (minus La Factoria for dancing of course!) because of its incredible attention to detail. First of all, it is a simple yet beautiful bar set on a corner with huge windows open to the street outside. It is gorgeous with rich colors and sweet details. No fuss yet decadent and gorgeous in spirit. Our bartender Luis was incredible! The care and time that he put into each drink was unbelievable! And the best part....no hipster, snobby vibes! You could tell that Luis just really cared about each drink...it was a revelation! My friend and I proceeded to order every single drink off of the menu just to watch Luis make them. One of the best times of our lives! Just sitting chatting, sipping and enjoying the slow life in PR!

These cocktails were deliciously crafted. We had the Buenos Dias and Uva Plane. I highly recommend stopping into this unassuming place.

Great place on a happening street. Super good staff. Try the Tropical Mule because it will hit the spot on any given day.

Cute place in old San Juan with delicious mixed cocktails. Un lindo lugar con un ambiente típico de PR, música latina.

Went there in two separate times and unfortunately was closed. Don't rely on the hours that they have posted!

One room, the main area had salsa, dancing, and music and eventually at 9:30 PM a live salsa band came on. That was a whole lot of fun however it was very crowded. The second room had a nice house music going on. There was a bar and a DJ and it was not as busy as the main area was. And the third room was the bar that leads to the outside called La Cubanita, which was playing mellow lounge music with a tropical beat. The food at La Factoria was definitely overrated and just OK. I did not think it was worth the price and I probably would not eat there again. None of us really liked what we ordered, but we ate it because well... We were hungry. They do offer a wide range of beverages from your standard beer, wine, and top shelf brands, however, they are known for their own concoctions. All of the drinks we ordered were delicious. Overall, we had fun, and it was not too pricey for the beverages. I don't think that I would ever go again, especially not later in the week as it is so busy, and we went on a Monday and we were dancing cheek to cheek!!! Enjoy!

The…read moreatmosphere and warmth of our initial experience was so great that I made it a deliberate mission to find it again when visiting recently. We were thrilled when we finally walked through the door again after wracking our brains to remember our favorite spot in Old Town. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young woman who, mentioned it was her very first day as an assistant to the bartender. Despite being brand new, she was warm, engaged, and genuinely welcoming, excited for us that we had made it back after several years, and impressed with our efforts. Shortly thereafter the bartender on duty approached us mid-conversation, visibly irritated. When I mentioned that we hadn't yet decided on drinks but were being well taken care of in the meantime, she interrupted sharply to bark at us that she was the bartender and the ONLY one who could help us. The tone was unwelcoming enough that after a moment, my companion and I determined that we would prefer to move on and left without ordering. The atmosphere is truly special, and it deserves to be matched by the experience guests receive at the bar. Our experience was simply not the vibe that night, and I truly was disappointed FOR the new hire who was doing what she should in engaging us until we could be served. I sincerely hope to return on a future visit to San Juan and to rediscover the experience that first brought me back to La Grieta.
