Dr. Baker and her staff are extremely competent, caring, and make you feel as much like family as respected patients. We have had cleanings, crowns, and a dental implant while under Dr. Baker's care. Everyone is bilingual and access from the border is quite easy with their driver service. Manny, their driver, is friendly, and always there when you are ready to be picked up or returned to the border. With the new southern border crossing point your walk is quite short to the pickup point. And of course, costs are anywhere from 30-50% less than is typically found in the States. Insurance is accepted. And in our case, Delta Dental, reimbursement is quite easy when submitting and out of network claim form. There are lot's of choices for dentists in Tijuana. Some will provide lower costs, other's not. We are quite happy with out decision and look forward to many more years as patients.

Hector who is an expert for crowns decide to help me reconstruct the work. I did 10 crowns with him from left jaw to right jaw. Cosmetic crowns. He removed the bad old crowns, prep my teeth and gums really well and redesigned everything. The crown craftsmanship is super great Beautiful work with translucent to make it natural. He doesn't rush the procedure and do everything correctly. He will make you wait a bit until your gum heals before installing it. This procedure should never be rush. If a dentist in tijuana tells you that it would be done im 3 days . Those crowns are definitely going to give you a lot of problems and pains. Don't do that to your health. Get fittings. Hector was very through with his procedure. He checked all the occlusion and bites and make sure it would look great. In my own experience.. Never ever let a regular dentist who claimed to be cosmetic dentist do your crowns. Let the specialist. A skillful Prosthodontist do your crown!!!!!! That's the only way to get it right. After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​
