The problem with finding a great dentist is finding one that is super-skilled at what they do, really care about you as a patient and are affordable. It's easy to find one with one of these things, not super hard find one with two, but really, really hard to find one with all three. Dr. Ramirez has all three. With other dentists I found in Tijuana (some of which are highly rated on this site), so many are just running tourist mills. I always felt rushed, I felt pressured to get treatments I didn't need or the price I was quoted changed sometimes mid-procedure. On the other hand, Dr. Ramirez is always willing to sit and explain every problem, procedure and options at length in English which is great for Americans like me that know no Spanish. He is very honest about expected outcomes and follow-ups. It is very clear that he takes his work very seriously and really cares about you as a patient and a person. He goes out of his way to make sure the process is painless and comfortable. His finished product is the best I've had in my life. He also quotes a price and sticks with it which will be at least half and maybe more than what you would pay in the states for the exact same work. I could not be happier in finding Dr Ramirez. I have recommended him to my family and friends and even created a Yelp account just to write this long-winded review. I hope I don't have to see him again for a little while, because, well, that means I am having a problem, but I am relieved that when that problem comes, I have a great place to go to.

They reschedule through text and answer any questions through text. Also last time I checked out, one of the ladies at the front desk (couldn't catch her name) was talking to her coworker in front of me for like a good 3 minutes and it was completely unrelated to my visit. I felt like I was a burden burdening their conversation, and she asked me with the most annoyed tone if I was free a month out after they were done. Not "hi, I can help you right here" or "did you get everything you needed today?" Like I'm burdening you with your 3 minutes of conversation? The picture even says please DO NOT CALL. please tell me this a joke? What's the point of having a receptionist if I'm burdening them and they don't want to speak to customers? On the way out you pay for parking with for the allotted time you were there. The grocery store and other little stores are on the first floor and a lot of clinics/dentist offices are on the second floor. Once you get to the second floor, there'll be someone at the main door asking you to check in and that really just states your name and how many people are with you and what office you're going to. There is a staircase, and there is an elevator to get to the second floor. The office is small but very clean but unfortunately in Mexico, what happens sometimes is that the running water stops working and you cannot use the restroom since there is no water to flush the toilet. The two girls at the front are really nice and are really inviting. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Dr Yasmin introduced herself and she was very lovely and she is the person who did my cleaning and my teeth whitening. She was very lovely as well and she kept asking me if I was OK and was very attentive. So what happens first is that the doctor will check you out and make sure that the items you requested can actually happen that day and then someone comes and gives you a quote and if you would like to continue, you sign the quote and then the work is started. It was my very first time doing a teeth whitening, and while she was doing it, it did not hurt at all, but I did experience some teeth sensitivity around an hour later. The teeth whitening is four sessions of 15 minutes under some sort of lamp on your teeth. It is a small quaint clean office. I would definitely go back.

They send in a dentist to do the diagnosis and before you know it, some assistant is going the work lol You'll want to call ahead and make sure they won't do that bait and switch tactic on you. That's what I love about coming here is I can count on someone who is qualified to do both diagnosis and treatment. Especially if you're gonna pay the same price, why not have a real dentist do the work? Her prices are very good. She even accepts american insurance and credit cards or even paypal.
