I went to get a dental cleaning here and was very happy with their service. I've struggled finding a good dentist over the years, and this spot was everything I needed. Dora at the front helped me set up this appointment and she spoke excellent English and Spanish. Most of the staff speak both languages, so if you're nervous about communication, I wouldn't worry about it if you don't speak Spanish. They are very organized and communicate quickly via email and WhatsApp. They offer a shuttle service pick up, which is easy. As soon as you cross the border, the pick up area is right outside the gates and the pharmacy. The driver gives you about a 10-minute grace period for your pick up appointment. However, if you miss it for whatever reason, the uber is under $5 to get to the office. For your appointment, you receive a QR code which you will scan to get through to the elevators. The QR code will only work 15 minutes before your appointment. This is to manage the amount of people in the waiting room. There is still a seating area in the first floor if you're early. Dr. Alexandra performed my cleaning and she was super nice. There is a TV on the ceiling and they even ask about your favorite music to have it on while they work on you. This was my first visit to this office for a cleaning and consultation regarding implants and crowns. I set up the appointment beforehand with Estefany, who was very responsive and helpful. Crossing the border was straightforward, and once through immigration, it was about a 10-minute walk to the office. Their office is located in an upscale professional medical building and the pictures on their website are of their actual office. It was as nice or nicer than any dentist office I've been to in the U.S. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and spoke English well. Dr. Jessica was excellent - thorough, attentive, and easy to communicate with. While I initially chose to come here for the prices, I was most impressed by the quality of care. Extremely disappointing experience with New Age Dental. I paid my deposit with a credit card because I genuinely intended to have my dental work done here. I later decided not to move forward and canceled my appointment 10 days in advance. I was not a no-show, I didn't cancel at the last minute, and no dental treatment was ever performed. When I requested my deposit back, I was initially told they could not refund the money back to my credit card and that I would have to drive all the way back to their office to receive the refund in cash. Although this was already extremely inconvenient, I was willing to do it just to get my money back. What made the situation even worse was what happened afterward. When I tried calling them again, my calls were not answered. I had already communicated with them about the refund, yet suddenly getting a response became extremely difficult. This entire experience made me feel like keeping my money was more important to them than taking care of me as a customer. I gave them plenty of notice, never received the treatment, paid by credit card, and was even willing to make the trip back for the cash refund they told me about. I originally trusted this office enough to consider having significant dental work done with them. After the way my cancellation and refund were handled, I'm very glad I decided not to proceed. Update: I have to give even more props to the awesome team at New Age Dental. Even though I don't visit nearly as much as I should, they treat me like a valued patient. To know I have a dentist I can trust with an attentive assistant is everything to me. Additionally, it's extra-special that they never try to push me to do additional work, or sell anything. Seriously, a dental office as good or better than any north of the border. Just tell any cab "Calle Diego Rivera cerca de Paseo De Los Héroes - en medio del bloque" and you can usually bargain for around $8 from the border. ---- 've been coming to New Age Dental for over a year now and they are great. Everyone here is very friendly, attentive and speaks English fluently so I don't have to use my broken Spanish. I didn't like the factory feel of Washington dental yet still needed an affordable dentist since I don't have dental insurance. So glad I found New Age Dental. My dentist is thoughtful, thorough, and a total pro. They even have a TV on the ceiling to watch during treatments. I was overwhelmed with the amount of options available in Tijuana, but funnily enough I found out about New Age Dental through TikTok! I sent them an email and we set up an appointment. So far I've gone twice and was attended both times by Dr. Azalea Salomón. She was amazing along with the dental assistants and patient coordinators. They're transparent with pricing and even encouraged me to post my treatment plan. Be sure to let your bank know you'll be traveling to Tijuana! Highly recommend. So I can personally vouch for this dental group. This is a long story so I will start at the beginning. Firstly, I travelled all the way from New York. I booked and planned this moths in advance. I arranged to land in San Diego and took the bus from the terminal to the street tram. Sounds hard but it's not. Bus is literally right outside the terminal and there's a pick up st each terminal. The 10 minute bus ride will take you to the tram station which you hop on and that is an enjoyable ride down to the border crossing. You literally walk across the border. There is no fuss or wait. After you're over, use your Uber app and order your ride to your hotel. I stayed at the Hyatt but I would not recommend them. Stay with a branded hotel if it makes you feel more. It was a nice walk tfollowing morning to the dental office. It's a professional neighborhood and I never had a problem. At the office, you will be greeted by kind, courteous staff. Don't worry. They all speak fluent English. These are educated and professional teams that are there to make sure your experience is perfect. Say hi to Estefany for me. Then you will meet your dental team. Everyone is technically proficient to any dentist you may encounter. I work with a lot of dental residents at the emergency department and the team at New Age are very talented and well trained. I had 6 implants, 2 bone grafts and a bone graft with an extraction. They provided me a prescription for the pain meds and antibiotics in the same building and I was back at my hotel for $4.00 Uber ride. Oh, they also got a dental CT done outside for under $100.00. Can't go wrong with these prices. Lastly if you have dental insurance through a job, not via a Medicaid plan, they can help determine if you have out of network coverage and even help submit a claim for you for a fee. You can't go wrong here. Stay away from the sketchy places. It's your mouth so you really get what you pay for. read more

After a US dentist said my root canal was too difficult and wanted to send me to a specialist. It would have cost me over $3k. I was referred to New Age by a friend. Not only was New Age less expensive, by a lot, but their equipment was far more advanced than my US dentist. Amazing staff and dentist. I got a CT scan, 3D image of my mouth and had a specialist on site doing the root canal. I can not express enough how amazing and pain free this experience was. I enthusiastically recommend New Age Dental in Tijuana. I live in LA and in the summer of 2023, I broke a tooth and my regular dentist said I'd need an implant. I was shocked to learn that in So. Calif., a single implant costs around $5000 to $6000. I'm 76 and my income is modest. This was way beyond my means. Despite apprehensions, I decided to look into going to Mexico for the implant. I did massive research. Reviews I found on Yelp for New Age Dental were very positive, but I felt anxious about choosing a dentist based on online reviews. However, my impression was that Dr Silvia Guzman & her team had implant expertise and good credentials. And a woman-owned & staffed dental practice was appealing to me. I was also impressed that they use top-of-line equipment, and offer top quality brands of implants. For my 1st visit, in Sept 2023, I saw Dr Silvia Guzman and an implant specialist she brought in, Dr Alberto Payan. They and their assistants were all very kind, professional and efficient. (Dr Payan speaks little English; Dr Guzman and several of her colleagues others speak English.) Getting to TJ was an adventure. To avoid the long lineups when driving in or out of TJ, I walked across the border. First, I took Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner train to San Diego's Santa Fe station, then walked across the tracks and boarded the San Diego Trolley / Blue Line to the San Ysidro border crossing. From there it was just a 25-min walk to TJ, including abt 10 mins at Mexican immigration (passport required). Although I felt a bit nervous as an elder woman, nothing happened that scared me. Estefany, one of New Age's hardworking English-speaking receptionists, was very helpful. She took care of logistics: she had an Uber driver pick me up near the pedestrian entry spot and drive me to New Age. Later she arranged an Uber ride to and from the Imaging Center, for the CT scan. I was amazed at what Dr Guzman was able to accomplish during my 1st appt. In just 4 hours (including time for a lunch break), I got the CT scan, she did an assessment & took digital X-rays; Dr Payan extracted remains of my old tooth, performed a bone graft, and inserted the implant; then Dr Guzman made & installed a temporary crown. An Uber dropped me off, I walked back across the border, and caught the trolley, which connected me with the last Amtrak back to LA. Pain after anesthesia wore off was minimal. New Age Dental did an excellent job on the implant - my own regular dentist checked it, confirming that the work looked good and I was healing well. During the 3-month healing and waiting period, Estafany and/or Dania often checked on me by text. I appreciated their concern. I returned in Feb 2024 for my 2nd appointment. Because LA-SD train service had been suspended, to get to TJ, I drove to a park-and-ride lot at the Palm Ave trolley station. From there, the trolley ride to San Ysidro was just 20 mins. The 2nd appt was to have impressions made; the next afternoon was my 3rd & final appt, for installation of permanent crown. New Age went out of their way to fulfill my request that these appts occur on 2 consecutive days, so I could avoid another long trip. The crown fabricator agreed to a rush job, and Dr Guzman squeezed me in to her busy schedule. I stayed over at a nice AirBnb. The new crown looks and feels great, and I'm very happy with it. I'm also overjoyed that all told, New Age Dental charged me about 1/2 of what I would've paid in LA. I was also able to get some insurance reimbursement for the implant work. I had a great experience at New Age Dental. The front is staff is quick to respond and super friendly. My first visit I did a filling replacement and whitening. C.D. Azalea Salomon was patient understanding and skillful. It was the painless injection I had ever had. I like that I wasn't choking with my own saliva while doing the procedure. The whitening was great, I was explain the who procedure and they make sure I was comfortable. I honestly did not experience any sensitivity during and after(that could just have been me). This has been the best dental experience I have ever had even while doing the most invasive dental procedure I have ever had done. I did a lot of research prior to even speaking with them. They already had great reviews but seeing the work they have done on other patients gave me the reassurance i needed to choose to get my dental work done with them. I had to have a front tooth extraction, bone graft and implant. My main concern was aesthetically I did not want to be front toothless for the time I would need for the implant to heal. They reassured me from the very beginning, from the moment I reached out to them through whatsapp. Estefany was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. They were able to see me on exactly the day I was going to be in Mexico and they were able to get my whole family in as well. The doctor I worked with was Dr Azalea and she was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable right away. She was very professional and explained everything to me. My appt was at 11am and by 2:30 they were able to get me in with their oral surgeon. I was expecting to feel some pain when they numbed me since the area was sore and infected but I am not exaggerating when I say I felt no pain with the numbing or during the whole process. The whole surgery took less than 2 hours. My local dentist in Colorado had told me an extraction and implant on the same day would not be possible and this would have extended my recovery time to almost a whole year. But New Age Dental had me take 3D scans and then reassured me that both would be possible that same day. They were even able to place my old crown on my new implant so I don't even look any different. All their equipment is modern and top of the line. My US dental office is new with great equipment, but even they are not up to par to the equipment they use at new age dental It has been 2 weeks and I am healing beautifully. I did have pain that evening and consecutive days, but this was taken care of as long as I remembered to take my ibuprofen. I was able to hang out with friends that same evening and the next couple of days. That's how good I felt afterwards. I had no soreness and no swelling, despite flying home 2 days after the surgery. After an initial round of fillings and a root canal, I just returned for three implants. It took only two hours for the dental surgeon to painless extract three teeth and install implant anchors, including a rear tooth that I'd heard can be tricky. Two NSAID's in the 12 hours after the procedure were sufficient, and I've experienced zero pain or swelling. Looking forward to installation of crowns in several months, and cannot say enough good things about the quality of the work, affability of staff and am cost that is 1/3 of what I was quoted in Northern California. I've had the best dentist visits here. Even before I came to the office, Estefany was friendly and helpful. She communicated well over phone and text and was accommodating of schedule changes. I came in twice for all four wisdom tooth extractions, two of which required a specialist. My teeth were pretty bad, and one side was even hurting since the wisdom tooth had impacted another tooth. Every time I went in, I was so impressed by the sweet staff and the professionalism of the  dental doctor. For years I have been wanting to get veneers.
