Hidden fees , they hire cheap inexperienced practitioner and they even make sure to perform a poor job so you come back later and pay more and more and eventual you lose bones and they don't have to install the finals and how they make money . Lot of scams. Lot of agencies work for them and get a cut . Have lot to say ! Why it is not worth it for Americans to do implants in Tijuana ! Just pay half in America with 5 years insurance and top notch real doctors not burritos cooks turned dental technicians and pay later the other half by making payments but the best option is going to Europe to Turky , best doctors out there abd are pretty good and half the price in Tijuana . Remember in Tijuana they gonna charge more later and keep milking you with no good results . Don't believe the hype in YouTube and don 't believe them when they respond to your negative review they all copy and paste same lie . As for the picture they take and claim was before and after !!! lol happened to me and now just saw lot of them use it to offend themselves it is a scam . There is genuinely not the words in either the English or Spanish dictionary to describe the absolutely HORRIBLE HORRIFIC TERRIBLE job that was done at this clinic. I was given 4 Front Teeth Crowns, giving the Dentist valuable information about my dental history including the fact all 4 front teeth were FRAGILE because of a previous accident and all 4 having root canals. The first incident was when she was working on my teeth (shaving them down) her husband barged into the room and spoke to her right while I was under the table. So unprofessional!! He then starts openly harassing her asking how much longer and that he had the car waiting. She immediately started rushing and did a horrible job putting in my teeth temporary covers "temporary crown" that was made from a mold of my natural teeth before she shaved them down. The mold was jagged and painful to my teeth and gums for several days but I endured because they were only temporary until my crowns would be put in. The second Incident was when she was doing my X-rays she did not offer me the Lead cover to protect my thyroid from the X-Ray Gamma Rays. It was only provided the cover the following appointment when I asked for it. The third incident occurred when she was taking off my temporary Crown Cover (mind you this thing is all one mold) She once again seemed like she was in a hurry and rushed to take it off and in the process Snapped off a large chunk of my natural Tooth!! Also these things are already tiny since that is how they are prepped for Crowns. I felt the pressure and extreme discomfort from her mutilating my tooth and her response was ohh I bet your gums hurt that's normal. I immediately protested that my tooth WAS NOT CHIPPED BEFORE! To which she immediately starts change the subject and put my Crowns on to try. When I see these crowns I almost burst into tears of RAGE. They looked like pieces of square gum from the store. All one color completely not natural, and a florescent White. Again I begin protesting that this was NOT what I asked for that these were horrible. I also told her I had a flight to catch and wasn't sure this could be fixed in time. She assured me it could be! And she proceeded to fix the "little channel" she made on my tooth NO YOU SNAPPED PART OF MY TOOTH OFF CALL IT WHAT IT IS!! And once again a fake mold was placed on my teeth in the interim. She assured me the crowns would be fixed and sent them back to the lab. 2 hours later the crowns were back!' Fourth Incident. Similar to the third once again... what is the point of the molds? To protect the teeth right!? THEN TELL ME WHY ALL OF MY TEETH WERE CRACKED THIS TIME!!! At this point I was fed up and just wanted my crowns on and to not miss my flight that would cost me over $700 in Airfare and personal costs if I missed it. Fifth incident I agree to the crowns being better because I was convinced that turning the light overhead on would make them "look worse than they are" THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG when she didn't want to turn that light on. I got them cemented out of anxiety and frustration. What other options did I have at this point!?! Get another fake mold and lose the 10% of my teeth I have left? I got the crowns on and told her there was gapping behind my Most left tooth my tongue could feel, she just said she's polish it but it wasn't fixed I can still feel the gapping. I also told her my teeth feel tight and uncomfortable. She said it was normal and would go away. It has not gone away my teeth that should have no feeling HURT!' So crowns are CEMENTED. I asked to use the bathroom at this point where I turned on the Circle Vanity Mirror. My heart immediately sank when I saw my new teeth were significantly different than my natural Teeth. Still looking awful although improved. At this point I was DONE. I was defeated and so genuinely AFRAID. I was scared for what was left of my teeth and decided to accept the consequences of my actions. The outside of the building was enough to tell me this place was not good! I didn't listen to my gut! Please don't make the same mistake. I vowed I wouldn't let these horrendous people touch my teeth even again and left in tears after paying in full for my treatment. I will be finding a new dentist to fix the horrible job they did on my teeth. Please pray for me. I need it. read more

For Americans: beware! I lost money here and there is no way to retrieve it since I paid cash. They are called SM4 Smile method for all now. First two crowns for central teeth were defective (had air bubbles visible with a naked eye) and overall looked horrible. I begged all staff to double check a second pair of crowns before showing it to me to make sure there were no issues. Second pair contained black dots all over it and the colour didn't match. They also tried to gaslight me into accepting them! This office said I authorised the work so they can't 100% refund me. I didn't think they would make such horrible work. Want to make sure US clients that come that far know what to expect and please do not pay cash if you end up coming here so you can dispute a transaction with your bank in case they do the same to you as they did to me. The only reason there are no negative reviews is they offer a partial refund only if you sign a paper that will prohibit a patient from sharing their bad experience online. read more

My full mouth restoration did cost me a lot but compared the one that I'll be spending if doing it in United States it is much cheaper, i mean way cheaper with the same result or much better. I had really high hopes for my experience here. I was referred by a friend. I wanted to get 6 veneers on my top teeth. Their website looked really good so I was excited. The staff is very kind and professional. Things started to take a turn for the worst when I came back to get my veneers placed on my teeth. Turns out, the lab sent the wrong veneers and the dentist cemented them on and they looked horrible. I was a little worried, but they assured me that they could make new ones for me. 7 trips later, they were not able to give me the smile that I wanted. The veneers needed up looking uneven, and really big! After I freaked out, they agreed to give me some of my money back. I paid a total of $2900 for the 6 veneers and they offered to give me back $2000. Do not use this company. The service is unprofessional. They canceled multiple appointments as I arrived to the border. Multiple occasions where the courier they used also didn't pick me up making me call off work and lose money. They were moving locations and dragging out procedures to keep me coming back. Ended up separating from the original dentist working on my teeth. New dentist changed scope of work without informing me first. The work they did was subpar. The porcelain veneers cracked and broke almost immediately. Including one where my tooth they grinded down broke off with it. They blamed the cracking and breaking of teeth on not brushing and flossing enough and not on the fact they grinder most of the teeth off. I can not thank you enough. 10 years ago I had problems with my teeth. I made a decision to have them all pulled and to get dentures. I went to an American chain called Aspen Dental. I had all my uppers pulled and they shoved a hard plastic denture in my mouth and sent me out the door. They took awhile for me to get used to them of course, but after awhile they were very sloppy and on occasion would fall out. On my initial exam I had a Dentist come in and look in my mouth and told me I was NOT a candidate for implants. Never did an x-ray or anything, just told me it would not work out. No consultation, no nothing. I decided to leave my lowers as I had heard how hard they are to keep in your mouth and to get used too. I am so glad I found Dr Marquez and his staff in Mexico. I needed a lot of dental work done and my USA dentist wanted $50k to do the work. I now have no more pain, no more missing teeth, and a brand new smile that dazzles for 1/2 the price. It was a little bit intimidating at first to decide to go to Mexico. Dr Marquez himself met me on the USA side of the border and drove me across to the office. This really put me at ease. First, please excuse the novel I'm about to write but it's well worth the read if you're considering extensive dental work and being pain-free for a change. Second, since this is the first of my three visits, so I'll update on each visit and rate my experiences in real time. My decision to go with this dentist was based largely on other helpful reviews so it's the least I can do for others. Due to injuries and botched work by US dentists (they actually pulled the wrong teeth that were healthy) that left me in pain for years and fearful of being in the chair again, I delayed any work for over 10 years. Recently, the pain had become unbearable and it was time to get the work done. Average quote for reconstruction in California was $45k+ for All-on-4 so I decided to look at options abroad from Costa Rica to Thailand. Then I found Dental Departures and they actually go through great lengths to vet out dentists abroad (including site visits) and rank them by area and by specialty. At the top of their list was Smile 4 Ever in Tijuana but as a long time SoCal resident, I had my own negative opinions about Tijuana so I had to do further homework to check things out. After calling other Tijuana and Los Algodones dentist to get a feel for their offices, I reached out to Smile 4 Ever. My first conversation was with Fernando and then George on a second test call. They were both warm and informative without being pushy. A day later, I received a follow up call from their manager, Evelyn, and it turns out she's a SoCal girl who grew up in Glendale and put all my uneasiness to rest. She is not a sales liaison as she actually lives in Tijuana and works in the office daily and fully explained the procedures and options and then emailed me travel options, from shuttle services to border crossing and hotel options. For my case, the appointments were spread over three days but most of this time was to my benefit as Doctor Mendez wanted to ensure that I was healthy and complication-free post op before I returned home. They have a corporate rate at a Hyatt nearby which is no more than five minutes from their office and they shuttled us back and forth each day. The consultation with Dr Mendez after imaging was no less than two hours of comprehensive explanations of all my options (you won't get this with a local dentist). He wasn't pushy at all and explained risks and long term effects on my overall physical health, and I opted for a reconstruction instead of all on 4 in the end. Six hour procedure followed with some follow up the next day and a lot of eduction as to what to expect post-surgery from Dr.Mendez and his team. It's been 10 days and I'm healing nicely and have had multiple follow up calls from the office to check on my progress. I will return later this month for a 30 day check up and to remove stitches, and later in October for reconstruction. While the timelines will vary due to your situation, the service is superb and I would recommend their services to anyone. Their offices are clean and have state of the art equipment and their team of hygienists and assistants is a wonderful group of young professionals that are respectful and superbly skilled. Incidentally while waiting in the lobby one day, we met other patients from the states, particularly a family from the Bay Area that had work done a year ago and had come down for annual check ups, and they gave glowing reviews of their results. There's not a more confidence inspiring event than to hear from current patients and their positive experiences. Quick update...I've been back to Dr. Mendez's office a few times for check ups since my initial surgery and they've taken multiple X-rays to check on progress and the posts are integrating very well. Also, my wife got a crown and an molar implant done with minimal out of pocket expense as Dr. Mendez was able to use our PPO insurance to offset the cost. For transportation, Uber takes you to and from the office from the Pedwest border crossing and we've been able to visit the shops and restaurants at the border during our visits. Safety has been no concern and the people are hospitable to tourists and, at 18 pesos to the dollar, you get a lot for your money. I suggest you park on the US side and walk across as it's easy and parking is no issue. Also, my work schedule is crazy and Jorge at the office is a magician in making Saturday appointments work for us based on availability. Based on my research on immediate-load bridges and complications with fitment over time, I'm so glad that Dr Mendez chooses to use a high quality approach to smile design where he allows abutments to heal before loading bridges and crowns to achieve optimal fitment that last a long time. One of the 12 yr old veneers came off of one of my front teeth, leaving only a stub of a tooth. I got a quote to fix it at a neighborhood dentist here in Las Vegas. She recommended getting crowns on the two front teeth and quoted me $2800. I also asked about getting my existing lower partial "rebuilt" as the teeth had worn down over the years. This would have been another $1500. $4300 was a bit out of my budget and my wife had a very good experience and saved a ton of money 5 years ago getting 5 zirconium crowns done in Los Algodones. I did some searches and research and found several orthodontists in Tijuana. I took photos of my missing tooth and of my partial. Smile 4 Ever Mexico was very responsive and gave me a quote just about exactly 25% of what I was quoted in Las Vegas. I had requested that the metal from my partial be used as it fit me perfect and they said it should not be a problem. It was to require two trips to Tijuana each a 10-11 hour round trip drive. I organized the appointment around my schedule. I parked on the US side and walked in at the East pedestrian entrance. The clinic arranged for a driver to pick me up. At the clinic, everyone was very nice and good looking group as well. They had just moved into the new offices in a very nice medical building. Everything was spotless and the equipment looked to be brand new. I was introduced to the orthodontist. a very attractive young woman who spoke perfect English. She guided me through the process took the impressions and gave me temporary crowns. She worked on me confidently and skillfully. I had to leave the partial so it could be repaired. I had scheduled a return for 10 days later. I paid 50% of my bill and the balance was to be paid when I picked up the finals. My time to getting through custom to go home was only about 35 minutes. I came back 10 days later and the final crowns were put in and the "rebuilt" partial was fitted and the bite adjusted. The front teeth looked great but the bite of the partial felt a bit weird. She very patiently made adjustments until I felt it was OK. I had not worn the partial in some time and it still was not a 100%. I was told I could come back anytime for a free adjustment if it did not improve. No way was I driving another day for any further adjustment. I paid my balance, thanked everyone and headed home. The wait at the border for customs took one long hour this time. but it was done and I was happy that I saved $3,000 dollars, They made a follow-up call to see how I was doing 4 days later but I did not call back. After some days the partial got better and I did a little adjusting using myself using a small file and a little fine sandpaper. Today 3 weeks later it is perfect and I don't even realize I have it in. I was very pleased with everyone at Smile 4 Ever Mexico. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I've been to many dental offices in California and after all the bad things I had heard about Tijuana let me say this I was skeptically. This office was the best experience I've ever had in my life. As I was getting my procedure the dental assistant I believe kept putting chapstick one my lips to make sure they didn't get dried, my blood pressure was taken a couple of times because of the local anesthesia. I had a very good experience with this dentist. Michael picked my husband and I up at the border in a very clean, new Hyundai sedan. He was very curtious and friendly. Upon arriving at the office, we were warmly greeted by the dentist. I had my teeth cleaned and it was the most gentle I have ever had. My husband had a root canal and it was the best dental experience of his entire life. The doctor was very gentle and as a result my husband had a pain free procedure. He anticipated some soreness the next day, but to his surprise, there was none. The Smile 4 Ever office is very clean, modern, and beautiful. The staff is very professional. Im always terrified of the dentist but I have to say it has been one of the best experiences I've had. To start the staff was so nice and friendly, made me feel so confortable and Dr Arturo Méndez was very nice, professional and very knowledgeable always made sure I wasn't feeling pain throughout my procedure. Where should I even start!! Well, at first I was very hesitant traveling to Tijuana because of COVID and the bad rep you hear about TJ but let me just say my experience has been outstanding so far! Evelyn has been extremely helpful by booking my appointments, answering all my questions, following up and sending useful information. I'm beyond grateful for her assistance. When I arrived the first thing I saw was a sanitizing station which was nice to see since we're living with COVID. The staff was so welcoming and very friendly, they made me feel as if I was part of their dental family. I finally got checked by Dr. Arturo Mendez who explained my dental plan step by step and made sure I understood the entire process. Hi all who are cosidering having work done at Smile4Ever. I traveled all the way frrom massachusetts after researching dental practtices in Mexico and was so very fortunate to make an appointment here with dr. Arturo Mendez. First off all at the office Evelyn, Alita , George and several others did so much to nake me feel at ease! They sent an uber to pick me up and drop me off at the hotel on my first visit. Never tasted such wonderful papaya in my life and a cool treat after dental implants were placed. I had two molar implants , 2 veneers , a root canal, crown and dental deep cleaning as well. There were two separate visits involed . On one visit it got so late and dr. Mendez waited outside until the uber came to pick me up, so very kind of him. The office sparkles, so clean annd bright!I am thouroughly pleased with my new smile and chewing ability! I'd been missing those molars for 10 years. You are going to lovee the dental work and care here! All are personable and helpful making this a wonderful experience for any dental proceduree you might need.
