Came in late night with my boyfriend for some hookah & dessert. Other older reviews made me a bit weary of what to expect but they are 100% misleading. We had an amazing experience with Rose & the rest of the staff. From the minute we came in they were attentive & ensured we had everything we needed. The location is stunning! Comfortable couches, beautiful ambiance, music at a reasonable level perfect for intimate vibes & conversation. They recommended the cheesecake & the pistachio cheesecake was incredible. Rose also recommended the tres leches cake which was unlike any I've ever had before. The hookah smoked perfectly for over an hour & a half, and the refill was such a great price point for the quality. We are new fans & regulars after tonight! read more

Overall it looked like a nice place and I would give this place another chance. This is the only reason I give them 2 stars. I ordered the small hookah as I was by myself. The small hookah is a bust. Absolutely worthless. I might as-well spend the extra 5$ and get a large. I also learnt you could play Xbox along with shish-a. I was really excited about it. This time I had to plug in all the connections and setup the Xbox though. Next step, it took about ~15 mins for updates. Finally, I put in the FIFA23 disc only to see this is a damaged disc. This is the most amazing hookah place I've ever tried. The place is super clean and the staff is super awesome. You can have your brain on rest mode here with all the unique hookah flavors they have, the delicious Turkish desserts, and drinks whether hot or cold. Their seats and couches are so comfy. The music is not too loud giving you the chance to relax and have a good experience. All in all, I highly recommend this place for their top-notch services and I will come back as many times as I can. read more

Pretty nice hookah bar to come with friends. There is a parking lot right in front which is pretty empty before 10PM. Came on a Thursday and was surprised to see quite a crowd as the night went on. At this place, they charge $15 per person. They had many hookah flavors just like any other hookah place. But this location has an option for one hose or two for the hookahs. The food is kind of overpriced but the smoothies were good. They didn't block any tables off but they have hand sanitizers by the entrance and the bathroom was pretty clean. Visited the first time tonight after they reopened. They completely remodeled the place and I can easily say this is the best hookah lounge in the Midwest. The ambience is absolutely stunning. The place is pretty decent including the pricing. It charges $10 per person for general seating regardless of smokers/non smokers which is okay as we can use that towards our hookah purchase. They also let you bring your own food and drinks. However, there would be a surcharge of $5 per person for drinks. Ambiance is great, but service was not so great. Was out of town and normally I try to visit a hookah bar each time I'm out of town. I used to work at a hookah bar for many years and own quite a few myself. I wouldn't call myself a hookah snob, but I know what it takes to have an enjoyable hookah experience. This place was very nice. The decor was half Arabian, half area with tables/couches. The two of us ended up sitting on a couch. The hookah was awesome. I ordered a blueberry mint hookah (love this mix) and was very pleased with what we got. The hookahs come with 4 instant lit charcoals. I'm not a big fan of instant lit but it does the job when you don't have the choice (and don't want to pay extra which they charge extra for natural). So don't expect anyone to come around refilling charcoals if you don't order natural. Great experience. If I'm in the area again, would def come back. read more

My buddy and I have always been avid hookah smokers since high school. We're always on the lookout for a hookah lounge with a clean, relaxing atmosphere and of course - good shisha! My friend and I had the urge to try out a new hookah spot last weekend. I asked a fellow friend who is passionate about hookah, where he'd recommend. He recommended Arabian Nights. We decided to stop by and give it a try. I'm glad we did. Arabian Nights is in the heart of Schaumburg - located on the same side of the street as Richard Walker'a. The lounge is somewhat hidden - look for the colorful lighting visible from the street. Parking is plentiful in the rear of the business. The lot is decently lit - not unsafe. We stepped in and we were immediately shocked at how extremely well ventilated it was. This is essential in my book to a pleasurable hookah experience. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and allowed us to seat ourselves. Here, there are numerous seating options. They have private rooms with HUGE TVs and couches, as well as the main "lounge" with couches in the corners and tables/chairs throughout. It was very spacious and open. The lighting is colorful, yet dimly lit. Perfect for a intimate conversation among friends. The gentleman placed our menu and gave us some time to browse the large variety of shisha. We decided on the Tangerine and Melon Dew Starbuzz Shisha. Here, you have the ability to get a table-top sized hookah - or a huge hookah that goes up to your head! (The bigger option is a small up-charge) The hookah was brought out promptly and the gentleman was kind enough to "get it fired up" for us. (Takes a LOT of lung capacity!) The hookahs offered a great amount of flavorful smoke. The favors were very flavorful and you could tell the shisha was fresh. The hoses were clean and disposable mouthpieces were offered. The lounge does not offer food/snacks, however they do have non-alcoholic beverages available to quench the thirst. The coal-service was superb- they were always on top of it. The shisha burned evenly and we both were loving the well ventilated lounge. It's nice to go home not reeking of hookah! The service was top-notch and the experience was very affordable. This place is great! It ended up being my best friend and I's go to spot. We've been coming here for years and we're never disappointed with the service and atmosphere. Here's why, For service: The menus simple. Easy to read and understand with a pretty reasonable price to top it. If you don't get how the price works, ask. There's two sizes. I've gotten to try Orange Vanilla/lemon mint/Blackbear/Ambrosia etc. the Alchemists a good brand for me and sometimes I usually go with their recommendations. My fave(atm) usually ends up being minty flavorsMy friends dig the fruity ones as well. They have non alcoholic drinks. (not BYOB)Any further questions they're happy to help you. Friendly. Attentive. Welcoming. What more can you ask for ? They're pretty funny to talk to as well xD especially Anas. Mina is such a sweetheart as well as the other Mina with the cool mustache. Convenient hours: weekends they closed @ 3am Weekdays til 2am Now for the atmosphere: Dim, Cozy, There's the main lounge room straight down the hall that's filled with 4-5 sofas placed from every corner(myfave) for those of you who likes to lay back or have bigger groups. And a few small round tables(4chairs/table) scattered in the middle of the room. A large tv screen from left to right and a wide window view in the right corner which creates a spacious vibe to the room. Decorative. OK, I specifically joined Yelp JUST to write a review on this place: I was impressed the moment I stepped foot in it!! I love love LOVE the decor, the staff is VERY hospitable and welcoming, and the sheesha itself is great- a large selection of flavors. I hosted my hubby's bday here and it was PERFECT in every way. The staff catered to my every request and even when I'm there just to hang out, they always provide excellent service. Also, what I appreciate about Arabian Nights is how big the place is (most other sheesha/hookah lounges are sooo small), and I especially love the private rooms. He is even expanding to add 2 more private rooms soon! Finally, the 10$ minimum is SO affordable..I know of other places that charge that separately; Arabian Nights works that into what you order! Last night was the second time I had been to Arabian Nights Hookah and I'm never going back. This place had some pros, like their good hookahs and the pricing wasn't bad ($10-$13 per hookah. Each customer, whether they smoke or not, has to spend a minimum of $10. Understandable. The place has to make a profit and not just have freeloaders.) Now for the cons. The service was awful. My cousin and I ordered smoothies and my sister ordered a hot chocolate. My cousin and I got our smoothies and were nearly done with them by the time my sister got her hot chocolate. It took about an hour for it's arrival and a reminder from me to the apathetic waiter. They never once came to check on us or our hookah. At most hookah places, someone comes around to check to see if the hookahs need more charcoal or to clean the ash off the charcoal. If they can't spare anyone to do that, then they provide the hookah smoker with tongs to clean off the charcoal themselves. No one came around and no tongs were provided. I once again had to get up out of my seat to find the waiter to request the tongs and charcoal. When the waiter brought the tongs by, he rudely threw them on the table and ran away. We stayed fairly late and it was daylight savings time. From my understanding the time change takes place at 2 am. At 1:30, the waiter came to our table and told us to leave because he was closed and then shooed us to the door. The place was supposed to stay open until 2 am. If he had made his request in a less rude and vulgar way, I would have totally understood. You're tired, I get it. But he provided horrible service and was rude in the end. That's not where the rudeness ended though. As soon as he shooed us out the doors, he slammed it shut and turned off the lights in the parking lot making it very hard to see the gaping potholes in the lot. While the hookah is good, it's not worth putting up with the terrible service and the rude attitude. There are two other hookah places in the area that I will give my business to. Just in response to the reviews you can't serve alcohol and Shesha or hookah in the same place. It's the law in Illinois. And you also can't make or serve food. But you bring your own food and they'll even order food for you. This is one place we love coming to. It's tucked away but the sign is kinda big and you can't miss it. The decor is the bomb. The ambiance is nice and even though I'm not a smoker. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it!!!! read more

I cannot believe I have not written a review for Arabian Nights yet. I have been coming here for years. Literally. I love this spot. It is DEFINITELY my go-to shisha bar in the Chicago area. Their atmosphere is so chill. I love their private rooms, everytime I go, they are changing them around. It very well styled and doesnt reak of cigarette smoke. It has a very welcoming vibe. I have met the owners. One's a woman and the other is a man but I am pretty sure both of their names are Mena? haha. They are super super friendly and also have a smile on. What I like about this place is that they are always trying out new mixes and new tobacco. You always get something interesting when you go there to smoke. They are open late almost every night and they have wifi. Often times, I just go their to do some work, drink some coffee and smoke some hookah! A definitely place to check out! This was the worst hookah place we have ever been! We been going to hookah places for past 10years but seriously this place was ridiculous! This guy name Anas don't know meaning of customer service. This person really need to change his attitude and be nice. He was the really rude and kept getting mad for little things! He need to go to school for customer service.. They need to clean their hookah after each use. They use old water and the water had mold in all hookahs. When we point that out he says it was tobacco, Like serious he could't find better excusee!!! Had been here last weekend (Saturday). This is a very decent place with a really decent crowd. Beautifully decorated. Dark but still enough light to move around and see faces :) Music Not too loud, not too soft. Private rooms look pretty with the curtains separating them. Hookahs were amazing. Had the paan flavor and the double Apple. Both were superb. The mango smoothie and the pinacolada were delicious. We all had a good hangout time and would surely return. Only drawback, like many hookah lounges they don't serve food. May be they should start serving packed chips or popcorn for a small charge. read more

Let me start by saying that my review for 3 stars is solely for their service. I just felt like their staff was not very attentive and did not bother to ask customers if anything was needed or bring extra charcoal. On several occasions someone from our group had to get up and go back to the main desk and ask the employees for something (a drink or charcoal). It would be nice for the employees to pay a little more attention to their customers. The shisha and drinks were on point and the place is very comfy to take friends and just enjoy a chill night. Arabian Nights has this dark energy atmosphere that I truly enjoy. I must admit it's kind of hard to get to so try not to follow your GPS too closely. I would highly suggest Arabian nights though. I've been here a few times, and with each record of attendance, the quality of my experience deteriorated. I don't know if it's just me, or this happens with everyone, but the manager that's always dressed with a bow tie comes off very unpleasantly. If I decide to ask more than one question, he seems to get very irritated as if I'm poking his head or something. This hasn't been a one time thing. Everytime I visit, he chooses to behave in a vulgar way with me. As for the service, it doesn't exist. You as a patron have to walk all the way into their hookah prep room to request service, and most of the time the blenders used to make smoothies are so loud that you stand there in the door way shouting your lungs out. If you request for more charcoal, they give you an odd number of pieces, and in your hands. I personally and most people in general like to charcoals at one time. Why must I be given a third? Really inconvenient having to get up and go back for that fourth piece everytime. Hookah arrival time varies greatly. It may come within 5 minutes, or it may take 30. I really don't mind the charcoal and timing issues, but that manager really needs an attitude adjustment. I should have to call beforehand and pray that he doesn't pick up the phone just to give my friends the all clear sign. I really enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of the place, but man... that manager is too much to deal with. VERY RUDE. read more

Three (3) years coming here. BEST so far in Schaumburg. Why? First off: The prices are great. $10 per person as long as you want. $7 refills (if you need it). Then there's the atmosphere, the people, the cleanliness, the variety of fresh tobacco. It's all cool, mind your business type, and truly the best place to relax. There's open space for you to sit anywhere, and its not like Chicago where you're picked in booths. It's quiet, chill, low light, music is not super loud, and there's a TV positioned to easily enjoy it or ignore it. You could also pay $20 per person and get a private lounge with a 60" TV to hook up your own PS3/X-Box or use theirs, play and smoke as long as you want!! Grab some cards and chill in another well-lit nook with a card-playing table. Just you or a group, tables or couches, its whatever, and its tucked away to avoid a crowd.
