We walked in, looked at the menu, selected our drinks and went to order at the cashier. Our drinks came out so quickly. I ordered the Spanish latte because I prefer my drinks a bit sweeter. My friend ordered a matcha latte. Both were pretty good. Can't wait to go back and try some other flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interiors were all white. There was a round bench and tables to accommodate indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Kyoto Latte - my fav, smooth coffee, perfect sweetness went twice and no line both times [[HIGHLIGHT]]very cool concept, feels like a snow globe in the mountains, all we needed was just snow outside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]great place a for a cup of coffee[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very odd experience for me. Tried the Affogato & found it to be blasé. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good, the atmosphere like being in the desert somewhere, it's just my order didn't hit me in all the right spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm willing to go back & try their Spanish Latte or other, so we shall see. Very pricey coffee! Located below Earl's restaurant in the Village.

Arabica had pop-up shop in Vancouver, however, I never had a chance to visit. So, finally I had a chance to visit Whistler location. Matcha was sold out, so I ordered Kyoto latte.-9% of arabica blend base with Japanese style subtle sweetness we tested and approved in Kyoto. Together with stronger aromatic and richer body. It was average latte, taste was just ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love concept of cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior was all white colored decor, simple table and bench, but, its design was stylish and modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Tasty drinks. I had the matcha latte and my friend had the dark latte. Both were delicious and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop was clean and service was quick on transaction and making drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great coffee and matcha selections. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Simple and modern ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but a little bit of a wait depending on the time of the day you visit.

This Japanese Coffee shop is a MUST! I am still thinking about the matcha latte and coffee latte I had while in Whistler. They don't skimp on the matcha and is nice and creamy but rich at the same time. The coffee was not bitter but just right!

Very easy to find within the Whistler Village. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has an interesting dome shape design inside the shop with some curvy benches to sit on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick on a Christmas Eve morning. I just wish that the latte art could be better. 1. Hot matcha latte 12oz (4/5) 2. Hot Kyoto latte 12oz (5/5, must try) 3. Hot cafe latte with oat milk 12oz (4/5)

This was my first experience with % Arabica and it was a very good one! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought the white igloo-like interior was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe we came at an off-time, but it wasn't too crowded inside and it was relatively easy to walk around and find a place to sit and enjoy our drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is good for a quick drink break but it's not a place where you'd stay and hang out for an extended period of time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a lineup through the space, but it moved pretty quickly and our two iced matcha lattes were ready in a blink of an eye after we ordered. The barista that took our order was very polite. I was happy that they were willing to make my drink in the cup I brought since they only use to-go cups. The 12oz matcha latte was $6.95, which I think is a typical price for a decent matcha latte, plus an extra $1 for oat milk (the only dairy alternative available). It was good! The drink was a deep green and strong with the characteristic umaminess but not bitter. It seemed like it was very subtly sweetened. I'm glad I checked it out!

Where all my coffee dreams come true... After having Arabica in NYC, I was hooked. Came back to Vancouver and realized the one there closed I was sad. Then I looked up and Whistler has a location. Yay, worth the two hour drive lol. I tried the Kyoto Latte it was fantastic. I loved the dark latte, Kyoto has a little sweetness. It's so smooth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is in the middle of the village. It was pretty busy but coffee and matcha ice came fast[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Matcha ice cream was also really good, matcha flavor was very pronounced.

The coffee tasted great. A bit pricey though. They gave me the smaller size at first and when I went to ask if the wrong size was given to me the barista seemed to think I was lying. She had to find the record to prove I've indeed ordered a larger size. The first cup was made beautifully, the second cup not so much. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the second one but I think she wasn't happy I made her make another coffee even though they gave me the wrong size.

What happened to %Arabica Whistler opening on May 11th? Visited Whistler on Monday, May 13th, and noticed that not only was the store closed, but it was still under construction! Did anyone else see the influencer day trip videos on TikTok and Instagram last week (~May 8th-10th) showing the completed beautiful store? But now, most of those videos have been quietly removed, and there's been no update on what happened or when they will reopen. Google still shows that the business is open...5 out of the 7 Google reviews mention that they visited between May 11-May 15th and it was closed and under construction. I was looking forward to try their famous coffee and enjoying their famous ambiance but with no updates nor official announcements from the store it's a bit disappointing. It would have been better if they announced the delay instead of taking all the influencer posts down along with their own posts and pretending as if the soft-opening/announcements never happened. If they had made an announcement then everyone would definitely be understanding and they wouldn't have left a bad first impression.

Finally got to visit Arabica and it was a super fun experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Things are a bit expensive but the atmosphere made up for it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They did an excellent job with their interior renovations and it truly feels like a different space on the inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee was also great as expected.

Loved it and debated getting another one soon after - Apple Jack (5/5): I don't have too much of a sweet tooth but this was a very nice treat! The apple slices were juicy and the bread / biscuit was soft. Not crumbly which is a win in my books! - Chocolate Cupcake with cream frosting on top (5/5) as my kiddo demolished it without us trying...that should definitely say something about the taste! - Iced Latte (5/5): always a good pick me up, especially on a sunny day! So we decided to try the blueberry lemon scone and the bacon chive scone. Both of the scones were SO SO SO delicious. We also got lattes there and their coffee is also really good. We had such a good experience the first day that we decided to go back the next day. There was a line this time, but it was definitely worth the wait. This time, we tried the egg and cheese brioche, raspberry and white chocolate scone, peach tarte, and giant chocolate chip cookie. Again, everything was wonderful. You really cannot go wrong with anything at Purebread. I would eat here everyday if we had one by us at home.

They have a tiny sign hidden behind the water faucet, so small that I didn't see it in two visits to the place. About 20 minutes in, I was made aware of the no laptop rule and put it off to the side. At this point I hadn't even finished drinking my coffee or eating my pastry. As soon as I was done with them, the same boss lady came over and basically asked me to leave because "there were families looking for a table." She even had the audacity to tell me to "read the room." At this point it had been 42 minutes since I entered the establishment and about a half hour since I received my order. I was seated at the smallest table in the place and not taking up much space at all. It would have been tough for even two people to squeeze in to the table where I was seated. Adding insult to injury, in between my two interactions with the boss, a customer rudely asked when I would be leaving. It took all my strength to politely offer to share the table with her, but she just said she wanted the whole thing to herself. So in the span of about 20-25 minutes I had 3 separate conversations trying to justify my existence at this tiny table. It was unreal and I honestly thought I may have been on some hidden camera television show. This place basically wants to take your money and then rush you out so they can get more people in there. I understand the obvious dollars and cents motivation for this, but it's crass and callous and completely unbecoming of even a small town coffee shop. I travel about 200 days a year and I've been to literally hundreds of terrible coffee shops, but I've never in my life been treated this poorly as a paying customer. Maybe just place a big sign informing everyone of a time limit on how long they can sit. Or at least tell the guy who walks in with a laptop bag and blatantly sets up his laptop that he can't hang out there (like I said I was unaware of the policy so obviously wasn't hiding anything). I would have paid double, even treble, to just be informed in advance so I could patronize a different local business in Whistler and avoid that experience.

Others have said they aren't traditional Aussie pies and I get that if that is your expectation. I always try to appreciate the cafe for their take on the food items. Peaked Pies didn't disappoint. It is a small spot with just a few tables outside and a few tables inside. The eatery gets pretty busy so we felt lucky to get a table inside. They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. I guess my expectations were a little too high and my eyes ordered more than I should have. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a long John. I was quite disappointed in both. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either. It was only when you got to the center was when the cinnamon rolls were soft with filling. The other parts are just dry and flavorless. The long John was also underwhelming. They used the same frosting as the cinnamon rolls inside the long John. I guess I'm used to more of a custard filling. Sadly, I'm still in search of a great cinnamon roll in Whistler.
