Cute little coffee spot right below where my friends and I were staying. I was looking for amazing coffee and a quick bite and Caffe Artigiano exceeded my expectations! I got a 20oz Iced Caramel Mocchiato with Almond Milk and a Breakfast Croissant and it was just the perfect morning coffee and light meal! Their Pain du Chocolate is amazing and perfect Dark Chocolate sweetness but the flakiness is out of this world! Will definitely coming back! It's just an elevator down Staff was extremely help and super nice! I was skeptical about coming in as reading reviews that staff was rude etc etc but in my sincere opinion they're just lies! For those who made a review about staff being super rude and giving you dirty looks it's most likely you're having a terrible day and think the world is against you! Assuming someone is looking at you in a wrong way and adding a review the way you did; it's only a YOU PROBLEM or you were rude and expected to be treated like queen/king's get over yourselves! Highly Recommended!

The latte I ordered right before I unfortunately had to toss it.

This place has a decent atmosphere, but if you're like me and prefer tasty espresso shots that don't taste burnt in milk that isn't overheated to the point of scalding, I would avoid this joint. Granted the young girl that took my order seemed bored and disinterested, but the main reason I gave this coffee shop a low rating is because of the coffee itself. I took a couple sips and threw it away. I suppose if you like a lot of sugar in your coffee this place might be fine, however I am a lover of espresso so I don't add any syrups to my orders. There are better cafes in Whistler, so I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

    Latte & organic blueberry parfait

We had a drip coffee & a latte- both were delicious! Great spot to hang out in the morning as it's quiet and had good seats inside. I also had their organic blueberry parfait, which I really thought was tasty and was good for breakfast!

Cappuccino we ordered was boiling hot. They need to train their employees on how to make espresso drinks. Its an art needs to be toughed.

The place is very unique, the interior is built to look like the inside of an igloo, and it is all white and very minimalistic. Not someplace I would go for a coffee and to work for a bit, but a great place to grab a coffee. The staff were nice and helpful, it was rather busy when we were there. The latte was small, but very flavorful and creamy. The coffee was smooth and not bitter. We enjoyed it. Just know because it is Whistler and in the village the prices are a bit high, but coffee seems expensive pretty much anywhere.

Plot twist: it turned into a full-on appreciation moment. The espresso? Dialed. Rich crema, deep aroma, balanced body, zero bitterness. You can taste the precision from bean to bar. It's the kind of shot that makes you pause mid-sip and go, oh yeah... this is why I love coffee. Then the gelato came in to cool things down and absolutely held its own. Silky, clean, not overly sweet, and the perfect contrast to that bold espresso. Hot + cold combo = undefeated. We savored 20 minutes and ran back to gondola to get last chat at 3:30.

The apple slices were juicy and the bread / biscuit was soft. I am so glad I went with my gut because they were incredible! They came out perfectly hot, nice and crispy, and were tossed in a seriously flavorful sauce that took them to the next level. The space itself has a few tables if you want to sit and enjoy your food, along with a super convenient self-serve water station. Definitely a great, lively little spot to kickstart your morning--don't skip the tots!

Another 1 star review for the laptop issue. It's their prerogative to have whatever policy they…read morelike, but they could not have handled it any worse. They have a tiny sign hidden behind the water faucet, so small that I didn't see it in two visits to the place. About 20 minutes in, I was made aware of the no laptop rule and put it off to the side. At this point I hadn't even finished drinking my coffee or eating my pastry. As soon as I was done with them, the same boss lady came over and basically asked me to leave because "there were families looking for a table." She even had the audacity to tell me to "read the room." At this point it had been 42 minutes since I entered the establishment and about a half hour since I received my order. I was seated at the smallest table in the place and not taking up much space at all. It would have been tough for even two people to squeeze in to the table where I was seated. Adding insult to injury, in between my two interactions with the boss, a customer rudely asked when I would be leaving. It took all my strength to politely offer to share the table with her, but she just said she wanted the whole thing to herself. So in the span of about 20-25 minutes I had 3 separate conversations trying to justify my existence at this tiny table. It was unreal and I honestly thought I may have been on some hidden camera television show. This place basically wants to take your money and then rush you out so they can get more people in there. I understand the obvious dollars and cents motivation for this, but it's crass and callous and completely unbecoming of even a small town coffee shop. I travel about 200 days a year and I've been to literally hundreds of terrible coffee shops, but I've never in my life been treated this poorly as a paying customer. Maybe just place a big sign informing everyone of a time limit on how long they can sit. Or at least tell the guy who walks in with a laptop bag and blatantly sets up his laptop that he can't hang out there (like I said I was unaware of the policy so obviously wasn't hiding anything). I would have paid double, even treble, to just be informed in advance so I could patronize a different local business in Whistler and avoid that experience.

Others have said they aren't traditional Aussie pies and I get that if that is your expectation. I always try to appreciate the cafe for their take on the food items. Peaked Pies didn't disappoint. It is a small spot with just a few tables outside and a few tables inside. The eatery gets pretty busy so we felt lucky to get a table inside. They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. I wanted to let you all know I was wrong as we were given inaccurate information from the staff.

We also wanted to try the kangaroo (The Hopper) and spinach & ricotta roll, but will need to return for those. The butter chicken and beef curry looked tempting, too. Extra hungry? Add a topping of mashed potatoes, mushed peas and gravy to your pie! Perfect spot to grab a warm meal after being out in the cold, or even just a quick bite while walking through the village. I guess my expectations were a little too high and my eyes ordered more than I should have. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a long John. I was quite disappointed in both. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either. It was only when you got to the center was when the cinnamon rolls were soft with filling. The other parts are just dry and flavorless. The long John was also underwhelming. They used the same frosting as the cinnamon rolls inside the long John. I guess I'm used to more of a custard filling. Sadly, I'm still in search of a great cinnamon roll in Whistler.
