We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. I see them on Monday for 1st step in fixing some of my issues. We highly recommend this Dental Care Family

I am giving this location one star solely because the clinical staff who took care of my teeth and…read morethe initial phone receptionist were polite and kind. Otherwise, they deserve zero stars for their completely unprofessional front desk behavior and terrible management. I took a half-day off work for a 3:30 PM appointment. While I was already frustrated by being charged at every consecutive visit, I asked the front desk staff member, Cole, for a clear explanation of the billing. He gave me a completely cold reception. While we were trying to resolve a payment issue due to an expired card, I called their office line to find an alternative way to pay. While explaining to the phone representative that the front desk wasn't explaining the charges clearly, Cole interrupted and defensively snapped that he had already explained it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. While we both may have been having a stressful day, his customer service was completely unacceptable. Hoping to resolve the situation, I tried to schedule an appointment with the manager last Thursday to explain what happened. I was promised a callback from management that never came. Instead, when I arrived for my scheduled appointment the following week, I was told they had canceled my appointment and would no longer service me. While I respect that businesses have their own policies and I have no desire to return, their complete lack of communication and failure to address a customer service issue is deeply disappointing. My advice to anyone visiting this clinic: If you are having a stressful day, need billing clarity, or simply have questions about where your money is going--do not ask. If you question them or ask too many questions, expect to be dropped as a patient

As new patients, we appreciated receiving a comprehensive exam and X-rays, with additional dental care scheduled for a future visit. Dr. Moore was very thorough, and my daughter felt the same during her appointment. My hygienist, Della, took excellent care of me and clearly explained each step of the process. I also appreciate the dental plan offered for patients without insurance--I used it for my daughter and found it very reasonable. For under $400, it covered X-rays, an exam, two cleanings, and even an emergency visit. I look forward to sharing an update after my follow-up appointment in August.

I ended up paying $1,096 for a mistake Dr. Moore made. I do not recommend this place. My intention…read moreof this review is a warning to you. I was diagnosed with a cavity, he filled it, I had increased pain, then he filled it again, but the 2nd time with metal (without explaining the consequences of using metal). He reassured me, "if you have any issues with the tooth again, come back to me and I won't charge you". I thought he was being nice. Stupid me. I started having increased gum pain and could not chew on the right side of my mouth. Something felt wrong. I went to Copper Canyon Dental to see a different dentist. There, they showed me Dr. Moore's work. My tooth he "fixed" was cracked, part of metal he put in the tooth was rubbing against my gum causing irritation, and the tooth BEHIND the tooth he worked on was shaved down. The Dentist asked why did I choose metal and then described the work done by Dr. Moore as "sloppy". The issues I was having made sense. I was told I would eventually need a crown or the cracked part of my tooth was going to fall off. I tried to push it off for as long as I could which lasted 2 years. In that 2 years, I had to chew on the left side of my mouth, deal with frequent gum bleeding, and dealt with on and off pain on the right side of my mouth. Eventually part of the tooth was dying and my gum had severe irritation. I attempted to contact Dr. Moore several times and his office ignored me. I went in person. He wasn't there. I even wrote him a letter leaving my contact information. No answer. So here I am, writing a review to give you a warning. Was the staff friendly? Yes. Was the environment / ambiance pleasant? Yes. However, I dealt with 2 years of mouth / jaw pain, damage to my gum, and eventually needed a crown that cost me $1,096.

That was 5 years ago and it has been h*ll for my son ever since. The implants didn't fit him correctly, which they refused to do anything about. Most of his teeth have broken, with only some being replaced. It is so bad right now that he can barely eat. Did I mention this was a $30K investment. Yes, between the surgery that was needed to prep for the implants, the implants themselves, and Dr. Essenmacher's fees, we paid $30,000 for 5 years of pain and misery. Now her solution is to get implants made from different material. To the tune of another $25K! Oh, but she'll do it for only $2,500. Another $2,500??!!! She should be covering the cost since we've already paid for the implants. And the most disappointing thing is that Dr Essenmacher portrays herself as a Christian woman. That is what made me suggest to my son that he sees her for the implants. This has been a 5-year nightmare with no end in sight. Please save yourself the agony and see someone who specializes in implants so you can get what you're paying for. Shirley

I don't particularly fear the dentist or pain, but they are rather gentle. The office itself is very clean and modern and they always offer water and coffee.

My Mother got $12,000 worth of veneers at Dr. Kerschen's office. She was excited about getting…read morethem until the moment she saw them in her mouth and they were stained grayish yellow. She has bad vision and told him she just wanted them to be a pretty white, but not blinding. Dr. Kerschen didn't take the time to show her the proper shades, instead he sent her to the veneer maker and they gave her a limited selection of shades to choose from with little to no direction or consultation based on her wishes. Dr Kerschen completed all the work before giving my mom the opportunity to see the veneers in her mouth. The situation only got worse when she stepped outside and saw how stained they looked. Why would anyone pay $12k for a complete set of stained teeth!? She was upset, but didn't know what to do after her complaints fell on deaf ears. Within a few months three of the veneers fell out on three different occasions, once while vacationing out of state. Dr. Kerschen fixed them and appeared to recognize what a terrible color they were. On the third fix, he told my mom he would replace her set for her with the desired shade of white. My mother was very excited to hear this and did not end up complaining about how unstable the veneers were. Which must have been his goal since he never followed through with his promise. My mother may be elderly, but she has a family who loves her and doesn't appreciate when she is taken advantage of. The entire experience looks a lot like exploitation or opportunism at the least. We would appreciate it if Dr. Kerschen would put the white teeth in her mouth that she wanted and paid for. At this point we would prefer blinding white instead of what she got, coffee stain grey/yellow. How many other mothers has Dr Kerschen treated like this? Trust me, I'd much rather be sending them client recommendations vs a bad Yelp review.

I highly recommend going elsewhere.Dr. Park is the dentist my former dentist sold the practice to…read more My first appointment was odd. She took photos of everything the former dentist had filled, enlarged the photos and showed me saying they ALL needed to be replaced. She showed only one X-ray image and said I also had a new tooth that needed filling. She really played up that she would do things right and the former dentist did things wrong. Really? I agreed to let her "fix" everything...I really wish I had not. The fixing procedure was horrid. Although she never hurt me, It was the highest level of uncomfortable. First she numbed me wrong but never asked or checked, my entire lowerer half was NOT numb. This became apparent when she drilled the lower two teeth. I said nothing because I did not want to prolong the misery. She uses a large device I was not familiar with, that dries your mouth and sucks the spit and shoves your tongue back AND holds your mouth open so she can work, it also left terrible sores behind on my upper gums. She passed things across my face as she worked, and dropped something on my face that left a wound. Now I know I had 5 fillings...but she didn't NEED to do 4 of them, so it was a long procedure. At the end I could feel, remember my lower half was NOT numb, including my tongue, that every tooth she worked on was incredibly rough and tacky. I even said, "Are you done?! Cause this feels incredibly rough?!" No, she said she would be back to polish things. While I waited I also noticed my "new and better" fillings felt bulky, like playdough was just slapped onto the tooth. She returned, did a quick polish and told me to comeback another day when my mouth wasn't so numb and she would make the rough spots better then. Ugh...ok, I returned the next day because every tooth she touched was so sticky, like Velcro, I ate leafy greens and the bits stuck to the repairs like leeches, even on the sides of the teeth! The worst was while flossing the floss got caught up on the rough edges she created and would snag and shred. I told her all this. First she argued that what I considered shedding and catching wasn't happening. She had me floss to prove it and the floss caught, broke some and came out looking like a hair snarl. She took her gloved finger smoothed the rumpled snarled floss RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE and said,"it's not shredded." I said,"Don't tell me that's not shredded." Then I decided not to argue because it was obvious she was going to deny any wrong doing. I continued to ask why the teeth were so rough. She said they couldn't be rough because she only worked on the top surface, not the sides. I tried to explain that every tooth she worked on now felt like something had dripping over the sides and left them all "rough and sticky." She then argued she did NOT know what I meant by sticky. At this point I became really frustrated and said, "I am not a dentist, but I trust that you know what you did to my teeth and you know what you used on them. You did something to the surface of my teeth that has made them rough, so now there is friction and food "sticks" to the surface, that's what I mean by sticky." She dropped her head like I was an exhausting little kid, and said, "I just need to polish and the roughness will go away when you brush." Oh, "ok" I said,"why didn't you just say, it's gonna be really rough, but brushing will eventually make it smooth?" You know why, cause it's bullshit. She then sorta did what she considered "polishing" at one point she dragged like a cotton pad along the sides of my teeth, the damn thing caught and snagged, I thought oh good maybe if SHE discovers the roughness she'll do something about it because my proclamations aren't doing a thing to convince her. But no, the cotton pad snagged, she ignored it, and decided to talk only to the tech. She would ask if the polishing worked, I'd yes or no and then she would ask the tech what I had said, super unprofessional. I just wanted out of there at this point. She was able to polish one and a half teeth the others still rough... I'll just brush em to smoothness ( yeah right) till I can find another dentist. She told me if it still bothers me to come back later...NO WAY! Oh and I brought up the wound on my face three times, this dentist is very good at ignoring you, pretending she can't hear you or saying she doesn't understand you. She said nothing about the wound, ignored me. Weird! Why 5 stars? To ensure this review doesn't get taken down right away, I hope you can avoid this experience. Or at least consider not doing work you suspect might not be necessary, one crappy filling could be dismissed but I have 5 now, I wish I had gotten a second opinion or let her just fil the one X-ray proven cavity. The patients that rave about her must have been to REALLY bad dentists...you can do better than this lady, but I suppose you could do worse too.

I love Doc Park and her team! They are gentle and kind. I recommend them to any I ne young and old.read more
