A very challenging, hilly course. Not for beginners. Bring lots of extra balls. I paid $82 for the JC rate. There are two opportunities to get food and drink. There is a cart girl on the front 9, either at 5, 6 or 7. Then you can stop again after the 9th. We were told there would be another cart girl at 14, but perhaps she closed since we had a late tee time. The greens were punched, making the reads impossible. Beautiful scenic views, minus the endless array of powerlines.

First golf lesson on Saturday morning. The Driving Range was almost full when we arrived at 9:30am. What a beautiful drive out to the location. Plenty of parking which is always a plus. I still like parking far away. Phil greeted with a smile from his host booth. We started off with a medium bucket of balls. I met some friendly golfers who shared balls with me. When I went back to get more balls the machine didn't like me. We popped into the Pro-Shop to inquire about membership prices. Jeffrey was super helpful in explaining in detail all the options. Can't wait to be back for early morning tee off!

We are still glowing from our wedding day at The Crossings. It was truly one of the most beautiful, emotional, and joy-filled days of our lives, and so much of that is because of the incredible team -- especially Lauren Lee. From the very first conversation, Lauren made us feel cared for in such a genuine way. She answered every little question with patience and kindness, kept us grounded when we were overwhelmed, and guided us with a warmth that made the entire process feel easy and comforting. On our wedding day, everything flowed so seamlessly that all we had to do was be present and take it all in. The venue was stunning, the food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. Every member of the staff went above and beyond -- you could feel their heart in the work they did. It made the entire experience feel even more special. We are so grateful we chose The Crossings. It became more than just a venue for us -- it became a part of our story. We've already decided that we'll be coming back every year for our anniversary for dinner or brunch, just to relive a little piece of the magic and say hello to the place that meant so much to us. If you're considering The Crossings for your big day, we truly can't imagine a more loving, thoughtful, and beautiful place to celebrate.

I went here for an event, and I had the best time! It was at the golf course after dark and the venue was amazing! All the drinks were great, and the food was really yummy. I personally love the charcuterie. They had these little spicy pickles that were so good!

We truly couldn't have asked for a better place to get married than The Crossings at Carlsbad. From the very beginning, it just felt right--and on our wedding day, it exceeded every expectation we had. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and seeing everything come together with our family and friends there was honestly a dream come true. The views, the atmosphere, and the overall energy of the day made it feel so special and unforgettable. A huge part of what made our experience so wonderful was working with our coordinator, Lauren. She was incredibly helpful, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she made it feel manageable and reassured us every step of the way. On the wedding day, she handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes so we could truly be present and enjoy every moment without worry. Everything flowed so smoothly, and we felt genuinely taken care of. It meant so much to us to be able to relax and just focus on celebrating with the people we love most. We'll always look back on that day with so much happiness and gratitude. If you're considering The Crossings, we can't recommend it enough--it gave us the perfect setting for one of the most important days of our lives.

It's taken me almost a year to write a review of our very special wedding day because I feel so emotional even thinking about it. From the first hello with the catering director Sandy to our wonderful day of coordinator Megan and her assistant, days leading to the wedding as well as the day of, could not have been any more perfect. We are grateful for such an amazing team. The Crossings At Carlsbad is a beautiful venue overlooking the golf course and of course the ocean view from afar. The reception venue in itself is just so cozy and romantic and gives off all the wonderful vibes. The most important thing any bride worries about is being able to execute their dream wedding and we did this in about 5 months. I had 100% full support from Megan throughout the whole process. She communicated with me and responded to all my questions and concerns immediately. Until this day people talk about the views, the food and how great of a time they had. Due to time constraint of planning a wedding in 5 months we decided to have an intimate 100 person wedding. The venue is perfect for this! Loved how it was easy for guest to go from the wedding to cocktail hour and then to the reception. Parking is easy and plentiful. The thing that was most stressful to me was having to do the bustle. Ms. Sandy was able to do it in less than 5 minutes! Amazing! Thank you to all the staff at the Crossings At Carlsbad for giving us a day to remember forever!

Great band played 5-8pm last night (6/13/25) even had a saxophone.

Last night I went to the Crossings for the first time & had so much fun! I've lived in Vista for 20 years but hadn't heard of it. I don't play golf (yet). What a beautiful upscale outdoor patio with views. Anyway, we had dinner there. My filet mignon was top-notch (but I found the garlic mashed potatoes a lil salty for my taste). Great service with Miranda (hope I got her name right) and also a young man who brought our entrees, extra water & extra plates. There was a live band that was so great, mostly playing dance and rock music from the 80s, 90s and some current hits. We had so much fun dancing. The outdoor dance floor is big. We plan to be back for more good dance music, good food, good Zinfandel.

We're so happy we chose The Crossings as our wedding venue and booked over a year out! Lauren is amazing, so kind and attentive - working with her and her team made the process seamless from start to finish. The venue is so beautiful, complete with greenery, trees, and brick walls. Our getting ready suites were the perfect places to relax and get ready for the big day. When we entered our reception, we were so happy with how everything turned out - the uplighting that we added gave it a romantic feel, complete with the dark wood and fireplace. The food and drinks were delicious and one of the best parts - our wedding package included cake and a dessert bar from VG Donut & Bakery, which was so yummy! We couldn't have asked for a better team and venue to work with!

Sheers with a beautiful view on a beautiful day!

I cannot believe I never visited this restaurant before! we came on a Saturday morning for brunch, and had previously made reservations. Keep in mind that this is a golf course restaurant, and although they do have a large parking lot, it can get filled quickly so plan accordingly. This is a gorgeous spot, and upon entering through the doors, we were greeted and seated very quickly by the smiling hostess! she was lovely and genuinely looked happy to be there. She sat us at a table with a great view of the course and took the time to see if that would be the best viewing spot available. It wasn't busy at all! which was both great and sad at the same time. We loved having the place to ourselves, but this is a gem that should be shared with everyone. I did notice a lot of golf groups finishing their round and coming by for some quick eats and drinks. It got a little rowdy behind us, but I mean... its a golf course and they were laughing at each other's swings of the day! you couldn't get too upset at that (it was pretty funny). I uploaded photos of the food we got, and it was ALL delicious! quick, friendly service and unlimited mimosas for an extra fee ($22). Usually, whenever we go to bottomless mimosa location, it takes forever and a DAY to get a server to pour you another glass. Here? these ladies are so on top of it! before I can even put the words together, our lovely server was at our table asking if we'd like to re-up. Absolutely wonderful experience, and I will for sure be coming back again.

This is a golf review. I can't speak to the venue but I do know there was a wild neon themed part last night with what looked to be some nice chicken tendies, some sliders, and some Def Leppard blasting. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. From the golf side. A 2:50 tee time in early June should mean a comfortable finish before the sunset. We rolled back to the pro shop at 8:00 which put us a about a hole or two back from the expected 4:45 twilight play time. There's two par 5s in the back where it seems like everything grinded to a halt in terms of waiting on a tee box. Haven't figured out the logistics and timing of how that happens but it is what it is. Overall though. Really beautiful course that tries to honor the existing valley space the course kind of carves itself in to. Service was great and Marshalls and staff were all super friendly folks. The fringe around and rough around the green got a little hairy at times but I guess that's my fault because I seemed to always find myself in it Great course and as a first time playing it it really was fun as every hole seemed to have its own character to it.

We are still dreaming of our perfect day even weeks after our wedding. The Crossings exceeded our expectations from the planning process all the way to execution through the entire event. We were fortunate enough to work with Megan from the very beginning and she played such an important role in making sure our day was a fairytale. She was truly a pleasure to work with and every couple that chooses this venue will receive exceptional service from Megan and the rest of the staff at the Crossings. Their great communication made the whole process a breeze and we couldn't find anything negative to say about them if we tried. The venue itself was everything we could've dreamed of and more. It is the perfect combination of coastal greens with cozy lodge vibes. All of our guests fell in love with the venue just as much as we did. With having a spring wedding we had the possibility of rain but the Crossings made sure that wasn't a stressor for us on the day of. They made sure we had the best options possible and were still able to have our ceremony outdoors, even with a little sprinkle. To add to all the other positives this venue has to offer, the food is one of the top things people talked about well after our event. No one walked away from our party hungry. From the appetizers to dinner and then the late night bites, everyone was pleased with all of the food options. We are so beyond happy that we chose the Crossings for our wedding day and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a venue.

    Chilaquiles
    Stephanie F.

Someone on Reddit said this has excellent chilaquiles so I had to try! They were decent though I prefer verde to the Rojas offered. Huge portion and then are beans on the bottom which I think added to making them filling. Unfortunately we had absolutely terrible service. I think it took at least 10 minutes after being sat for anyone to even acknowledge us and provide at least some water. I would be more understanding if they were slammed but I could see how we were one of few tables and I saw our waiter chatting it up at the host stand.

Denver Omelet. Huge and you get a ton of potatoes.

Soft but firm, not like the old hard mats that felt like you were hitting off concrete and damaging your clubs. 5. Island Greens - so nice! These targets are priceless and make the range attractive. 6. Two putting greens - 1 is synthetic - take your pick. 7. A sand bunker practice area with real sand, not dirt! 8. Lighted at night to accommodate anyone's schedule. 9. A Golf Mart is on the premises, how convenient. You can demo clubs on a real range and not a simulator. Plus great customer service! 10. Golf Instruction - Awesome! Take your pick, many options to choose from. In closing, the Carlsbad Golf Center is AWESOME! This facility offers soo much to help you improve your golf game or if you just want to have some fun with your family. I strongly recommend the Carlsbad Golf Center to friends and family.

I like this range quiet a lot beside the guy sometimes will yell at you if you step on the grass…read morefor a bit to grab your ball that is less than a foot away from you.
