Went here today and there were so many stores closed. Please be safe, some shady characters were attempting to lure women near Dillards where there is an exit and many vacant stores and it just didn't look safe. MAJOR SECURITY CONCERNS. As a woman I wouldn't go here, not even with a friend. The bathroom is secluded and there are too many areas where it just didn't feel safe because there are vacant stores near exits. Sadly the mall is in decline compared to what it was in 2000 when I first moved to D'ville. An entertaining, fun and bustling place for everyone. It was a economic keystone, marketing center and attraction for Douglasville and the county during it's first decade. It's status has been in decline for the last 15 years. Today few interesting departments stores. No large book store or full service restaurant. Product quality being marketed is nothing special. Mostly just vendors with their stands. Many vacant former store locations closed and boarded up. Selection has become very limited. Yes, Dilliards and Macy's still are there along with the food court. Nothing impressive as it once was. It is sad to see how time with it's economic market issues,have led to the mall's decline. Then add on social behavior of this younger "Thug" generation have made Arbor Mall much less attractive. Yes, sometimes, now just sometimes fights break out between youths, when if busy on weekends. Seen only two occur during my walking around in the last 25 years. Mall security and law enforcement were very quick to get the situation under control. They do a good job overall. If you are one of those looking to push the test the decorum of good social behavior, expect to be pushed back by security and possibly told to leave. Refuse, and law enforcement will show you the way out. If you have some spare time during the day when the mall is not busy. Looking to go for a walk when the weather is not to one's taste to walk around in. It's worth strolling through. Safe, I never had a issue. read more

Macy's is the "upscale" store of this small mall. Small, yet across the street to a Target, Container Store, Michaels &, etc. I've been here a few times to pick up gifts & the mall serves its purpose. I enter through JC Penney for simplicity sakes which the employees at the circular desk of registers double as Greeters. I'll venture around if I make my way back here. read more

Nice mall, I got here when the mall opened. I was a bit upset that most of the stores weren't open but I guess because of the holiday, people got here when they felt like it. Lots of stores. The movie theater was very nice. The mall had good music plying, not too loud and is very clean. I saw security doing patrols as well. read more

Arbor Place Mall is decent. I came into the mall where the Ulta and Forever 21 stores are located. That was a set up LOL. I LOVE makeup and Forever 21. I made the decision to continue on to Other stores or I wouldn't never see the rest of the mall. I went to food court to check it out. Its plenty of options. I got a smoothie which was quite tasty. If you have to go to the restrooms, be ready to see old outdated, not the cleanest restrooms. However, many mall restrooms are this way. I think they could stand to approve in that area. I walked the entire mall. They have a few good options. I finally made my way to Torrid to pick up some shoes that I ordered. That store is really nice. I then went to Forever 21 and loved the sizes and different sections of the store. They had some really cute pieces. I then went to Ulta searching for the perfect highlight. I came up short. The makeup up person only suggested two different ones that really didn't compliment my skin tone. All in all this mall is an average mall. Nothing was super special about it. It could use some updating but it did have good options. You should be able to find what you are looking for there. read more

Just like any other malls with the usual stores. Just a big brick with stores and a theatre... the food court present are mediocre and my most fave store, The Borders, just closed. If you are looking to just get out of the house and maybe get a couple of things, like a nice shirt or pair of jeans, then you can do a quick stop here. This mall has the usual shops such as AE, Hollister, A&F, Victoria's Secret, Old Navy, Gap, JC Penney, Dillard's, Macy's, Journey's, Payless, New York & Co, and so forth... there are maybe a few small business stores there as well.. There are maybe a couple of mani-pedi places, the regular overly lit jewelry store, maybe one salon, a baby store, a hat shack, some kiosks for cellphones and that forever lingering dead-sea-salt-scrubs, a sunglasses store, a lens crafter, ONE actual sit in restaurant called the "three dollar cafe" (which seems to be a hit for the locals and biker people), and an array of fast food restaurants in the food court like taco bell, sbarro, starbucks, and maybe 3 or 4 of those chinese joint where 1 meat and 2 sides is like 5.99 or something. This place has a decent sized theatre, which just like any other theatre in my opinion, is over priced... ( im not a bag fan of theatres anyway!) Honestly, this mall is B-O-R-I-N-G. I hardly ever go to this the mall. I live in SW Atlanta and work in Buckhead, so my opportunities to go to this mall in Douglasville are slimmed down to when I have an appointment in the area or visiting someone that lives out this way. As malls go, its standard, there is a Dillard's, Belks, Macy's, JCPenny's and Sears are the anchor stores. I was in the area to attend a Falcon's party this past Sunday and needed to make a return to Macy's, so I went in, and told a lady I needed to make a return, when she accepted my item from me, she made a smrik face, so I asked if anything was wrong, and she stated, "we are a small Macy's, and we don't carry Coach at this location, and people are always buying stuff at Lenox and bringing it back here to return." I mean really?? I started to ask for a manager, because according to Macy's return policy, I can return any item bought at any Macy's store to any other Macy's store in the world and there should not be an issue with my return, but being that I have worked in retail before, I know that she most likely didn't want to have to make up the cost of the return in her department, especially on an item that she can't sell to another customer...but hey....thats all part of the retail game, so I politely waited for her to issue the refund to my card, and thanked her for her time. That being said, this is not an upscale mall, and while they do have some of the same stores that most other malls in Atlanta has, you can also tell that the demographic is those that live and work in the area. I will give them props for having one of the best, if not the best Forever 21 in the entire state of GA. My daughter adores Forever 21 and this one is organized, and neat, you can find staff members to help you and the music is NOT blasting so loud that you wonder if you eardrum is going to bust. Also the Body Central store at this mall is one of the better ones. They've closed their Yankee Candle location at this mall, but still have a Hallmark store. Other stores like Victoria Secrets, Hollister, Abercombie, and Old Navy are also located in this mall. There is a movie theater also, and I noticed a sign that stated that after a certain time, children must be accompanied by an adult. I didn't pay attention to the time as my children are adult, and I wouldn't drive the 40 minutes or so it would take to get from my house to go to the movies all the way out here. This visit got three stars because I went there with a purpose and got what I needed. I usually don't come here because they don't have a good variety of stores. It is a pretty basic mall. It's smaller that your average mall in my opinion. My daughter had to use the bathroom and I made her hold it because they were absolutely disgusting. ( the ones in the food court) There's no way I was going to let here us it. Luckily already got what I came for so we left after that. I'm sure the bathrooms in Macys or another part of the mall would have been cleaner but I didn't stay to find out. read more

This mall is on the smaller end (as far as malls go). They have some of the store you expect like Macy's, H&M, and forever 21. A few areas seem to only open seasonally and remain closed otherwise. If you want to browse and do a lot of shopping maybe try a different location. This mall is better if you know exactly what you want before you go. read more

APM is a comfortable suburb mall. It fits Douglasville. Plenty of retail establishments and restaurants that surround it. A two level mall with all the necessary stores. Never overcrowded. Inside has a gang of retail outlets that is familiar to the eye needed. Very civil in there so you don't have to worry about excessive behavior. Attached with a movie theater. Right off I-20... It works for me and probably most guys. I know women critique a mall way deeper than the way I have. No issues. Grade: C read more

This place has gone to hell. I remember when it was first built (yes showing my age) but it used to always be busy and the stores were nice and it was a great place to come hang out and do whatever. Now you can stop by and it's like a ghost town. Stores are always closed permanently, and the other half are just run down and haven't really been kept up with as there is no demand. You still have your basics like Dillards, Macy's and etc, but lots of the other stores have just closed down. I usually drive out of my way and go to Town Center, this place has just lost its touch and it doesn't feel like anyone really cares about it. Side note the fry kiosk that they have in the middle is freakin awesome so you must stop there! Everything else is just a simple hit or miss. read more

This is a wonderful mall. I came here looking for blue accessories. The mall is clean and everyone is so nice and friendly. I went to Charming Charlie's and hit the jackpot. This store is great. They had every blue item I could think of. The staff is great and very welcoming. read more

Arbor Place is a cool mall. It's not super huge, but not too small, either. A fairly decent variety of stores, but not 5-star worthy. Could use a few additions/improvements in the food court as well. Otherwise pretty nice place to get some causal shopping done. read more

Wow - this mall is awful. I was forced to squander a couple of hours here one afternoon while I was waiting for an appointment at Skinwerks (http://www.yelp.com/biz/skinwerks-tattoo-carrollton#hrid:UzuVfJDIf2DvPkv7nJW7QA). The food court was one of the more unfortunate situations I've ever encountered. As it was near lunch time, it was completely and uncomfortably packed. There is not nearly enough seating for the amount of people that it draws. Food selection is also sub-par. Oh, the bathroom was gross too. The store selection here isn't anything special either. You have your typical anchors (Macy's, Belk, Sears), but the other stores here don't provide any reason to make the trip out here. There is this weird, scary dollar store at one end of the mall - I'm still not quite sure what to make of it. The mall seems pretty outdated and could use some maintenance. I ended up eventually securing a table at the food court and kept myself occupied with my phone for the last hour and half that I was here. Do yourself a favor and skip out on this place. read more

This mall is crawling with security. Idk whether that's a good or bad thing. I didn't see "that element" at this mall but I could be wrong. Decent mall, same ol same ol stores. My gripe is there should be more directories so you know where stores are if you aren't familiar with the mall. There's a belk, sears, jcpenny, macys, old navy, and ulta. There is also a movie theater and a bed bath and beyond. It's an impressive mall, I like it better than cumberland mall. They don't have any restaurants anchored onto the mall like cumberland but there are restaurants near by as well as a chuck e cheese. The food court is decent, nothing to rave about but they do have a Johnny rockets. read more

It's a small mall nothing spectacular about it. There is a regal movie theater located in it if you want to catch a flick. I like that they have Ulta, Sephora, and MAC. As a makeup lover I love that I have options. If I need to grab something quick I would go here but if you need something a little more unique or " club wear" I wouldn't recommend it. I mean you can always piece something together from h&m, forever 21, or Charlotte Russe but it's pretty casual clothes. I do take my son to the barbershop located on the main floor. He gets his haircut by a guy named Ray who does an awesome job. read more

ANOTHER SHOPPING ADVENTURE! This is a very nice mall. It has such a unique design aesthetic, (ceiling), and reminds me of a little village. When you enter through the main door you immediately encounter a collection of nice mall strollers for your tots. The escalators (Jack and JIll as opposed to East and West), are conveniently located right next to the strollers so the lay-out is very efficient. They have the major anchors (JC Penney, Macy's, Dillard's, Belk and Sears) but I noticed that the Dillard's and Macy's were smaller than the stores I frequent but they were very clean and organized and the customer service was great. The food court is generously sized and spacious but without the comfort seating you will find at North Point. Also, the choices for dining were very limited to either greasy fried foods or sandwiches, Annie's Pretzels and Cinnabon rolls. They really need to think about adding healthier eating options to their food court. I loved that this mall has carpeted floors but I would like to see them add upholstered seating throughout for added comfort. I love being able to just stop and chill for a minute especially if I need to place a phone call or adjust my purchases. This mall is very large and contained many of the typical mall stores with the exception of a few like the very large Ulta located near the main entrance. They have a nice cinema and I was really surprised to see that once you go beyond the payment window, you enter a large area with dining tables. According to my husband, these are now a standard part of the snack bar area and have been in place for a long time. I don't know if I believe that because he was trying to make a point about me not being in a theatre in a very long time so he might just be blowing smoke. Anyway it was cool. Finally, we visited a bookstore that reminded us of the times when they were regular fixtures in the mall. It was a nice way to break up the shopping. If I found myself in the area again, I would definitely visit this mall. read more

Arbor Place mall is getting better! I'm a resident of Douglas County for 10 years and was going to this mall when I was in middle school lol. It has def came back on the come up since 2003. They have a forever 21, Macys with (MAC) h&m, and Old Navy (old navy is starting to leave now in atl) I go to this mall when I don't feel like going to Lenox, Perimeter (my fav mall) or Atlantic Station. Or want to save money and just go one store only and don't feel like over spending my money. All I think we need now is a Bakers Shoe store read more

A little kept secret of Douglasville. I would drive past the big malls to shop here all the time. It's not as crowded and they have the same shops others do. Plus a mall and plenty of restaurants on the street. Less crowded many less picked over racks of clothes and better deals. read more

This review is only based on my experiences in the bathrooms. I've been to this mall a few times and each time I have to go to the bathroom, the stalls are utterly disgusting. I realize customers make a mess and it can't be cleaned right away.. However it has happened too consistently for me to believe that's it. The state of the bathroom is indicative of neglect, lack of staffing or lack of care. I felt like cringing within the stall, but I really had to go so I dealt with it. Please clean the bathrooms regularly. read more

Good place to shop for regular items if you're going for a "Get in & get out trip" , i mostly go here for ulta but the biggest complaint is the climate . This mall is always freaking hot , like they have the heat on even in summer . Not sure why it's so warm inside because it's never massive amounts of foot traffic but I've been going for a long time - it's never changed. read more

I don't know if this place is under new management but we were at this mall in 2009 and it has done a serious 180. Stores are present including the big anchor JC Pennys, Macy's, for example. Lots of trendy and novelty shops as well as the usual suspects like Spencers and Radio Shack. The food court has been revamped, there is even a 'kawaii' shop catering to anime and manga fans. While out of the way it does sit right off I-120 and is a neat spot to stop off, not to mention a place to take back roads to to avoid 285 traffic and the Camp Creek exit masses. read more

As far as shopping malls go, this mall is not too bad. It is always bright and clean when I have had to go here, which is not very often. Unfortunately my reasons to ever come and visit this mall are few and far between. Even though I live close by, there really is not variety of stores here. Most are clothing stores that cater for teens, which are of zero interest to me. The food court ok, as long as you do not try and eat there on a Saturday afternoon, as you will not be able to find a seat. The only reason I ever come here, is to go to the Regal Cinema that is located on one end of the Mall. If for some other reason I have had to come here, I am in and out, as I am not a window shopper. Would be a better mall, if they had a better variety of stores but as it is, it is just ok. read more

It gets the basics done. Even has that Southern Macy's: Belks. Bath and Body works is actually separate from the candle store like it was back in the 90s and early 00s. It's super cute, the candle store. The food court has the basics. There is a Johnny Rockets. The eyebrow place ARCHES, not the kiosk, has great threaders. The AMC theater is cute, since this is a small town with a small town mall. There is also an ULTA, the only one around. No Sephora for 20 miles, so I'm sure it gets good business. read more
