We drove around thru the park nd seen a deer eating along the road. Wasn't scared at all. There are several swimming holes and small waterfall/rapids areas with plenty of camping spots. There were a lot of folks out and camping. The park is about 10k acres sitting in the start of the Arbuckle Mountains. Great day trip.

The first animals you drive up on are Arctic Foxes that looked sad to be there, even their "about me" plaque picture was them standing in snow but it was 89° in May when we visited and they were just looking half dead. If this is a state or family ran park- they clearly don't care to spend the money to update it. The women's restroom has 7-10 stalls, only 2 now work with black and white last second printed signs saying "flush twice" with painters roller pans underneath- I assume to catch water? But the bathrooms were lowkey flooding anyway. I feel so bad for the pretty high school looking aged girls that work there. They had great attitudes but to work in a place like that is unfair to them. My family and I will never come back here, they need to donate all of their animals to the brand new animal drive-thru park in Hochatown, Oklahoma. That company cares about their zoo!!

Sites were well maintained, level and sturdily bordered. You have neighbors, but you are spread out and not up in each other's business. We had a very relaxing stay! No showers and the toilets are the pit kind, but must have been recently serviced because they weren't stinky and the bathrooms were well maintained. Short drive to the lake.

Location wise it can get a little confusing. There are several campgrounds spread throughout. I stayed at the campground The Point. It was was small but relatively well-organized, and far away from everything to be peaceful and close enough that we weren't far away from exploring the local town as well. The point also let's you have pets stay. We took our two dogs who seemed to thoughtless enjoyed being out with us. Each plot on The Point is reservable Online, or self-serve pay station. I would say to reserve, as the weekend on a non-holiday it was completely full. There are plots that have water and electric hook-ups. The plot we were on had none, but was the cheapest at $16 a night. Each plot also comes with its own personal parking spot. Our's had a fire. Pit and a bench with an extension. At the Point there are a few non-plumbed facilities as well as one facility with plumbing and showers. Each bathroom of the plumber facilities has its own shower, plus a section of just a single shower with no bathroom. There are plenty of spots to go. Fishing areas are at each of the campgrounds. In addition, there are boat drop off areas, and places to swim in the lake. Unfortunately, no pets are not allowed in the lake or east of Travertine area which is in the northeastern section of the park. Nobody seems to be here. There's a bunch of trash, kind of around the property and things that look broken. It's hard to tell if it's still in business or not. Yet there are reviews from not that many months ago so I'm confused. Hoping to come back sometime and we'll definitely update the review based on the zip line experience if they are open.

When we got there the place looked great, and we were all ready to get on a horse and have a good time. Unfortunately we all did not have a good time. Donna the guide was one of the rudest people we all had ever met. She was not only rude to us, but was incredibly mean to the children who were helping us get on our horses. She would yell at them that they were doing something wrong, and just not nice. She would get super snippy at us if a horse came up to us, and we started to pet its snout, and was just super impatient and grumpy the whole experience. I eventually called her out on her rudeness, and she just laughed at me, and then proceeded to tell my fiancé "Good luck with him" even though I was incredibly respectful to her, and asked "if she was doing okay" when I did confront her. She just seemed like she was having a really bad day. The other people that worked there were incredibly helpful, and kind, including Cheri who I talked to over the phone to help us book this. Unfortunately Donna ruined that experience. We did not let her ruin our whole experience though. The ride was beautiful and the horses were really fun to ride on! However we will 100% never go back. I never leave reviews, but I had to leave a review for this because it was incredibly unprofessional especially how much we paid for everything. I pray that Donna has better days than the one she had with us, and that she will be changed for the better. UPDATE: I called Cheri and told her about all of this, and she was extremely apologetic and humble when I told her. She told me that Donna is the only guide, and is also taking care of four grandchildren at the moment, so I'm sure she is overwhelmed and overstimulated. Thank you Cheri for being kind and willing to listen to me and my concerns!

I parked the bus in the casino parking lot nearby. There are lots of things to do inside, and there was a lot of space to do it. Seriously, it could handle a huge crowd with multiple parties happening. There is a lot of space to walk and move. You pay for everything at a central location. The glow in the dark mini golf is 9 holes and has very thoughtfully painted displays. It doesn't look like an elementary student's diorama. There is also a place for someone to have a party gathering inside the glow room. Very cool. There are lots of bowling lanes and pool tables. There is a lazer tag area. I didn't play, but my students had a really fun time. I know there was a group of 15 that played together. The arcade was good, and I appreciated the amount of walking space among the games. It had several driving games and lots of ticket-earning games. One of the air hockey tables was out of commission. All the games required a swipe card, and tickets are saved to the card for redemption later. Food is available. Standard concession stand fare. Employees were helpful and easy to find.

You name it... the Topwind team not only offers these services, but does so with integrity, deep expertise and care. I found Topwind by way of social media. I had said that I wanted to buy a horse from them one day, after following their story and learning more about their ability to pair a horse and rider, coupled with patient, yet intentional training techniques. My husband and I purchased a dunalino yearling gelding from Topwind in June of 2022. We then sent him back to Amanda and team to get started under saddle May 2023. Amanda kept us posted along his journey and we always looked forward to her updates. I was able to visit the Ranch a few times, up from Texas, while our horse was in training. Amanda was great at coaching me and teaching me her techniques, so I am able to continue his progress at home. During his last month of training, Amanda even brought our horse down to a horse show with a few others, so I was able to participate in a Green Horse halter class. We had a great time and learned so much. Nick and Amanda are the salt of the earth and I highly recommend any and all of their services!
