Long story short, everything was delayed 2 1/2 hours. Some drivers waiting for arrivals took advantage of the delay to go get some fast food. We drove over to the Boyer Street McDonalds but saw they had a long line at drive-thru, so we went across the street to Wendy's ... big mistake. We sat for minutes in the drive-thru at Wendys without moving, so we went inside ... big mistake. Three or four peeps were working that night, but you'd swear no one knew what they were doing. We stood behind an ill-informed patron talking to an ill-informed employee as they talked over each other. Eventually we left and went back across the street to the McDonalds. Now back at McDonalds some of the drive-thru had worn off and the wait wasn't too bad. But cheers to all the service people we talked to ... they were friendly, and knowledgeable. At payout we had the sweetest little lady take care of us ... she made the trip worthwhile. Food was the good usual McDonalds, nothing fancy just good fast food ... hot and fresh. Two of us were looking down to pay on the integrated terminal and missed the order number pop up. It displays the number for a few seconds. We then just had to check the completed order receipts to find the other completed orders. All of our orders were accurate and ready quickly.
