It's really hard to come across good wing places these days, but Chex definitely met my expectations and more. Hot and crispy to my liking and definitely doesn't skimp out on the sauce either. Honey hot has to be my absolute favorite, I don't even need the ranch! Their subs are delicious too! The wings were fine but the ranch was fuzzy and carbonated and burnt my tongue very bad. This happens when ranch is about 2 or more weeks old. The lids on all the ranch containers were visibly popped up so it should have been obvious that something was wrong with them. Just okay. Entrees: garlic parm wings were crispy style and good. Buffalo wings not very good. Chicken philly sandwich was good. Our 3 year old son got the burger (no kids size) and ate a little bit. Dressings were okay. Sides: french fries were good and crunchy. Fried mushrooms were okay. Drinks: water comes out pink (it's on a fountain dispenser) which just didn't sit right with me. Tried a couple times but no clear water. Would recommend buying a drink (2.50) and getting a half gallon if there are two or more because the price is better (3.99). Ambiance: bright and open. All food comes in styrofoam containers (except fries in paper bag) in plastic to go bags. There are only (plastic) forks, no knives. Service: slower than expected. We were there around 6:30 on a Saturday with 2-3 other occupied tables. It's hard for the staff to find you as well when your order is ready. I visit this location often. Unfortunately, service and correct food provided is a hit or miss. This is the third time I've ordered a salad and received the wring portion and/or dressings. I came in today to grab my online order, was greeted by a friendly employee that gave me my food. Upon opening the box I realized they gave me a side salad when I ordered a full salad, this was fixed right away. Upon getting home, I then realized the dressing was incorrect. I called back and the manager told me the best she could do is give me a free fry and drink next time I came in. If I'm ordering salad, why would you offer me a fry and a sugar filled drink as compensation instead of just replacing the order to make it right for a loyal customer. I always enjoy eating here, and shame on me for not always leaving a review when I do order, so I'm looking to do better with that. So-- my fried chicken house salad was good-- but I did find a hair in it. As I mentioned, I eat here often and this is my first time ever finding a hair so that's where the star deduction came from. The fries are delicious, and my partner enjoyed his sandwich although it is a lot of food and enough for two. Highly disappointed with Chex today!! They're usually good but today was very strange and slow. I made an online order around 10:05 and promptly made my way to Chex about 15 minutes later. Upon arrival I was told that my order would be out in about 5-10 minutes (which is already a bit bothersome as it had already been 15 minutes since the order was placed and I was on my 30 minute lunch break). I only got 3 wings I feel like that shouldn't take more than 15-30. I sit in the restaurant and 10-15 minutes pass and my food has still not been received. I decided to give this place a try during a random cheat day (shh, don't tell my trainer) and was pretty pleased with the food. There is more than enough seating available, if you and friends wanted to eat in. Pricing for 15 wings was about $17 which isn't bad considering they were a nice size. However, I did notice that some people were waiting for their orders that had already been placed on the counter. Better communication between the few ladies in the front would've alleviated some of these confusion. The only thing that I didn't care for was how smokey the inside was... in other words, I left smelling like fried food when I was only in there for a few minutes. Lenny's sub shop has closed and Chex Grill has opened serving up wings, subs, sandwiches, and salads. The lemon pepper wings are a favorite for my son and they offer a dry and wet lemon pepper and he prefers the wet seasoning better. He also tried the philly cheesesteak but was not a fan stating the meat used smelled really bad so we returned it. I've only tried the veggie sub(grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, black olives, and italian dressing) on pita bread instead of a sub roll. I really enjoyed it and have probably gone back at least 2 other times ordering the same thing. I also tried their fries and they are really good and remind me of McDonald's fries with a tad more seasoning and the portion of fries is massive, like half a bag full of fries for $1.99. There are a lot of bad reviews mainly because of the service, but I never had terrible service.
