The third time, the owner had invited and catered an elephant politician in the next room leading to the backup of food for the PAYING CUSTOMERS in his own restaurant. The owner seemed super giddy and privileged to have that politician in his restaurant even at the expense of his (again for the folks in the back) PAYING CUSTOMERS. The restaurant was rather full too so we all had to wait with our growling stomachs while the owner was fawning at the "celebrity" next door. Truly warped priorities as a business owner. So when they decided to close their doors after (supposedly) sinking every dime that they had into the restaurant, they also stiffed their employees who they asked to work until the very last day while they still owed them all back pay. True leaders would go down with the ship. Instead, these folks took a vacation to see their child graduate out of state while the employees were asked to volunteer their time to keep their restaurant open. The most ironic thing about it all is that they most likely voted in the very person who sunk the economy so bad that they could no longer stay afloat.
