Hours of operation. People still working.
    Lyd B.

First and last time here Came here after a long day of work for a quick snack. And could not BELIEVE the unprofessional staff. I walked in, and I waited a minute and the male employee I believe sadly he was a "manager" abruptly said WE'RE CLOSED! There were people eating and were asked to leave at 5 minutes to close. I did verify hours of operation and he rudely just did not give a darn. And even if they could make my snack I wouldn't want them to. There was a female employee just laughing. Plain rude and unprofessional. How do rude people at a fast food restaurant keep their jobs. ??

This time I tried a Beef Gyro and ughh...! Awesome!!!!

Recently, perhaps due to the post pandemic stress I was denied a receipt for my credit card purchase at the time of sale.

We asked if they could bring it over next door to the Broadway, and they happily said yes , plus, they gave us a 10% discount! Great service, tasty sandwiches, and such a nice experience overall.

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

The inside is "dinerish". Nothing special. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and quick with coffee refills. She gets a 5. The food looks better than it is. Three of us ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. It's their specialty. But so sad. There was no ricotta taste at all and certainly no ricotta folded in. The lemon was a thick bitter goop squeezed on, in and around the pancakes. And worst of all, the berries were frozen! That's just sad. They came with eggs. I asked mine done omelet style and they did, but they were over cooked. The bottom was actually dark brown and hidden. The over medium eggs were over easy. The well done bacon came well done, but all three bacon eaters said not very good bacon. The sausage links were liked better. Grits were happily substituted for my meat as I'm pescatarian. The grits were good. Coffee was hot but just average in taste - agreed across all of us. Oh, and the food was delivered by a robot. The highlight was the gentleman hand painting the windows for fall! Not on my list for a return. Service a 5. Food a 2.

Green Valley doesn't have many quality restaurants, and I refuse to patronize crappy restaurants in the light of rampant high prices, bad service, inflated tipping expectations and, of course, the obligatory sales tax. Of the existing ones, many are chains, such as Denny's, KFC and McDonald's. The remaining non-chain venues are frequently purveyors of mediocre food and horrible service. Here's my basis for the good review: 1) Excellent and prompt customer service; 2) The place is immaculately clean; 3) The food is delicious and features generous portions; 4) There are TWO gluten-free pizza crust options; 5) Parking is ample; 6) The prices are reasonable; 7) Convenient to other shopping opportunities; 8) Genuine smiles from the owners and staff are standard operating procedure. At the rate that M. M.'s is building it's customer clientele, they'll have to move into a larger space, or even expand weekend evening hours while the snowbirds are in town.

Honestly the crust and sauce are what matters most to us. The toppings were okay, nothing stood out look or flavor wise. Our next try a couple weeks later was not as expected. We ordered another large again actually just like the first but received a small. Green Valley is not known for decent pizza parlors so most likely we will give Mario's another try.

The views from their vineyard are spectacular, the tasty snacks from their diverse menu are always sensational and we routinely buy a bottle or two. The artwork on their labels is stunning and created by Daniel Helzer, a profoundly talented artist, and has continuous, epic story lines. In the past, we've bought t-shirts, stickers, trucker hats, and most recently, a candle that is perhaps the best smelling candle I've ever purchased! A few weeks ago when we stopped in, the charcuterie board was so outstanding, we finished every morsel!
