We tried their weekend breakfast buffet and upon arrival at our table, the floors were dirty with food, crumbs, and the booth even had a small piece of bacon and some grease. We were very disappointed in this hotel and restaurant, as that's not something I expect from a nice hotel. We didn't sit at the table and requested they clean it up before we could be seated. We spoke to the manager, Lauren, and she was apologetic and said she'd personally clean it herself. She then comped our kids' breakfast meals, which was nice of her. Our server was friendly and pleasant. Despite the rocky start, the food was overall quite good, and given the manager's quick response, the overall experience turned out to be okay.

Its more like 3 stars for the breakfast, 1star for dinner (vegetarian) and 5 stars for service. Stayed in the Fairmont for 3 nights and breakfast was included with our stay. The spread is very basic-bagel sliced bfead croissant and a couple muffins, oatmeal and yogurt with some toppings.and some hot items like bacon, potatoes and sausages. They had some items you can order off a menu like omelette and avo toast. Again everything was very basic in taste for such an expensive (if you pay for it) place. Also, only black coffee is included and you pay extra for capuccino (weird i know for an all inclusive breakfast). Service was good on all 3 mornings. We also dined here one night. Got the 2 vegetarian pasta options, a cocktail and couple beers. It was a very expensive meal in my opi ion with super tiny portions. Again service was excellent but Id give it a hard pass on the food.

I initially wanted to try the Chef's bench live oyster which was advertised on their website. I called to confirm with a lady after making the reservation online as there was nowhere on the reservation to indictate my request. The lady who answered the phone was very polite but confused. she indicated that she would make a note. On the day of the reservation, we were surprised to find out this offer is only for Mondays-Fridays, which is contrary to the info on the website. Our server was very polite and clarified. We decided to try their oysters still as well as their charcuterie board. The oysters were fresh, just not my type cos of my personal preference but i did like the variety their charcuterie board though. Overall, their happy hour items are comparable to other ones in the area but nothing unique which caught our eyes but prices seem slightly higher to some of the restaurants in the same neighborhood. but quality was good. The best part was definitely their view. Amazing view of the cruise ship terminal and canada place

The ARC - Fairmont Waterfront (Breakfast & Dinner) Breakfast at The ARC was included with our Chase booking, and at $65 per person, it genuinely impressed. What makes this buffet stand out is the made-to-order menu paired with unlimited self-serve stations. You can order fresh items from the menu while also building your plate from stations featuring fruit, bread, spreads, cheeses, and a hot bar. The hot bar was excellent--especially the sausage (well-seasoned and moist), the eggs (easily the best buffet eggs I've had), and the oats, which were perfectly cooked--neither watery nor dry. Portions from the menu were thoughtfully sized: not overly large, which made it possible to try multiple items if you were hungry. The drip coffee was surprisingly good, and they provided a personal pitcher so you could refill at your own pace. The berry smoothie was fresh, delicious, and a great healthy way to start the day. A few notes: * The muesli wasn't for me due to the coconut, but coconut lovers will likely enjoy it. * The lemon cake was fragrant with visible lemon pieces and great flavor, though it could have been slightly more moist. * The salmon Benedict would have benefited from fresh herbs or toppings like dill, capers, onions, or cucumbers. * The hollandaise sauce could have been more flavorful. Dinner was just as impressive. We tried the steak tenderloin, and somehow they managed to make a medium-well steak incredibly moist and juicy--no easy feat. My partner can't eat steak medium or below, so this was especially impressive. The pairing with the mashed potatoes was phenomenal and beautifully balanced. Is it worth $65 per person? If you have a solid appetite and/or can at least enjoy three menu items plus a drink, absolutely. If not, you may struggle to get full value. That said, this was still the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. With a few small tweaks, it would easily be a five-star experience. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was bright, clean, lively, and spacious. A nice touch: complimentary cookies while waiting for our table.

This restaurant is amazing. It was one of the perks for staying at the Fairmont Waterfront hotel in Vancouver, BC. My husband decided to go here for dinner one night and the service was spectacular. Our waitress was super friendly, understanding and very comical. We enjoyed the night even more with her. The food was decent. I ordered the 3 course meal for $79, it included a soup, main entree and a dessert. My husband ordered the tenderloin with a side of mashed potatoes. I ordered the soup which was the pacific chowder and the waitress offered to split it into two so that my husband could have a taste. She was very thoughtful there. The soup was creamy and filled with a lot of seafood. Next, the braised rib was tender and paired nicely with the chive mashed potatoes. Lastly the blood orange sorbetto was so good. The tenderloin was so good. The profiteroles came in 3 but our waitress sent the order for 4 so that my husband and I could get two each. How thoughtful was that?! The decor of this space was highly sophisticated and upscale. We got a seat by the window and had a nice ocean view. It was very magical.

After a long day of travel, we were able to relax here and enjoy good food & delicious drinks! It's a clean, open & has an appropriate level of lighting & music to enjoy. Everyone was welcoming & service was quick. The wagyu burger was great, allowing side to split into salad and Parmesan fries. Hot & cooked just right! The chicken dish was good, a little bland despite the sauce trying to be flavorful. The side mushroom dish was yummy. Note- Cauliflower is just bland, so it cannot aid in flavor. Overall we really enjoyed! Ps the garden to drinks are wonderful!

Sunday brunch at the Fairmont Waterfront Restaurant was a tapas style, order off the menu, assortment of unique sweet and savory dishes. Our party of 6 enjoyed a variety of dishes, my favourite was the maple Brussel sprouts, buttermilk biscuits and the chicken and waffle. We ordered and sampled all the dishes, consensus was the food was not hot enough. Our server was fairly attentive but the kitchen closed without giving us a last call heads up. At $69 per person it is a little pricey considering the narrow menu choices. This was our second trip in the last few years, all in all it was ok but not amazing.

So many options from their ayce brunch menu. The service was amazing but definitely prioritize what you want to try first! Was kinda shocked they increased the price by $10 every year, it was worth the amount when I heard of it but now it's too pricy.

    Souffle Suisse

We went in for the Bottomless Weekend Brunch for $69 per person. The hostess greeted us and sat us promptly by the window. The wait staff was extremely attentive and responsive. Starting off with the berry smoothie, it was light and not very sweet which complemented the rest of the brunch. The Souffle Suisse was light and fluffy yet packed a powerful cheesy flavour with each bite. The Padrons Peppers served as a nice way to cut through the cheesiness of the Souffle Suisse as they provided a refreshing tartness. Next, the Smoked Salmon Roesti felt like a benedict but with a crispy potato base. Very delicious as a whole but I would've preferred a stronger smoked salmon flavour. The Pulled Pork Benedict was well done however, it was slightly on the sweeter side. The Dutch Baby was huge however it was bland and the "bread" part of it was quite airy yet dry. The prosciutto, burrata and egg all had delicate flavour profiles which meant there wasn't very much to taste (also lack of salt) but the creaminess of the burrata was appreciated. The Lobster Mac&Cheese is one of those dishes to share rather than to get on your own as the portion size was huge. You could taste lobster in every bite and the mac&cheese itself was nice and creamy. The 6" inch bone marrow had a rich taste and mouthfeel especially paired with the scrambled eggs and toast. However, due to the richness, it's not recommended to order it more than once. Lastly, the Chicken & Waffles were delightful as the fried chicken was perfectly crispy while the waffles had a crunchy outer shell and soft inside. The chicken was seasoned well and it paired perfectly with the habanero maple syrup. Overall, this brunch was well worth the $69 per person. Almost everything on the menu is a hit. Additionally, as we were seated by the windows, we had a nice view of the waterfront while having our brunch.

Came for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant was mostly empty and service was nothing special. Our server was fairly nice and knowledgeable. Overall the items were just okay and nothing special. I came back for the breakfast buffet which was a lot better. There's a self serve area as well as a menu you can order from which is included in the price. The French toast was pretty delicious. Overall a very nice aesthetic but recommend the breakfast over the lunch/dinner.

I've come here twice for the bottomless brunch and while it is good, its definitely a special occasion type place. The menu is quite big which is fun so there is a lot to try. Our favorites were the ooey gooey skillet ~ I think I could eat like 10 of these alone! The chicken and waffles never disappoint, loved the crepes, roesti was amazing. My only thing is by the time you tax and tip and with a drink it is just under $100. I do feel like it is a bit steep since we could order all items individually for less? but it is a fun experience.

Came for happy hour tonight at ARC which is located in the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Service was very pleasant, but food was mediocre. We shared a Caesar salad and paid $10 more for added prawns (just 4 shrimp, not prawns). The mussels were just ok. The drinks were the best part of our HH. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. Pricey and we've had better. Won't be back with so many other choices close by.

Tried the bottomless brunch during Dine out and jt was such a fun experience! Everything we tried was tasty. My favourites were the berry smoothie, lobster mac and cheese (there were large fresh pieces of lobster!), the honey butter biscuits and the ooey gooey skillet. Least favourite was the beef short rib poutine, as it was dry and the gravy tasted like cafeteria gravy. Service was excellent though, our server was attentive and friendly. I recommend going with a group so you can try everything!

We came here for a Winnie the Pooh Afternoon Tea. Oh my goodness...it far exceeded my expectations!…read moreHats off to the kitchen staff for coming up with such a creative and whimsical afternoon tea. First thing that caught my eye was the cover of the afternoon tea menu. It was red with a picture of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin printed upon it in a shiny gold colour. When flipped over, it had the menu for the afternoon tea printed upon it. I was super impressed that they even had a separate menu printed for Vegetarians. (I opted for a Vegetarian menu). There was a cute little ceramic jar that was shaped like a Honey pot, and it had sugar cubes in it! Then there was this booklet that was pages long, and divided into Chapters. It was basically the menu again, but in the form of a small book. Each Chapter of the book described different foods from the afternoon tea. The last chapter listed all the different tea flavors one could choose. When we sat down and read this menu, I heard more than one person at the table say that they wanted to take this menu home. Guess what? For the price of $25, one could take this menu home as a memento of this extraordinary afternoon tea? Maybe I'm a bit of a sucker, but how often does one get to go to an afternoon tea as special as this? And I've always been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. So I coughed up the $25 and brought one of these menus home with us! Food was sooo good. I loved how warm the scone was when I cut it open. This was one of my favourite items. The sandwiches were amongst my favourites as well. As phenomenal as the experience was, I do think there are a few things which could have improved the experience. For one, a bit more service would have been appreciated. I had to wave my hand in the air to get our server's attention so that I could ask her to refill our tea pots with more hot water. Would have been nice if she'd just come around a bit more often and offered to top it up for us. Tea cozies on our tea pots might have been another improvement. A lot of my tea cooled down by the time I got to it. I like my tea hot but I didn't get in very many cups of hot tea as there was a lot of food to eat and by the time I was ready to pour myself some tea to wash down my food, the tea was...not so hot anymore. Oh, and while most of the food was appropriately sized, there was this one chocolate cookie sandwich that was really gigantic and suggested to be eaten last. We were so full already from all the other foods in the afternoon tea, and then to squeeze that giant cookie sandwich in...right at the end? A smaller and daintier cookie sandwich would have been preferred. It was overall a truly phenomenal experience. Yes, I do think it could have been slightly better, but I do emphasize the word "slightly". The points lost were so minor...I would still highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone. It was well worth the money. It's offered every weekend for now but not sure how long they'll keep this around so if you're interested in a Winnie the Pooh themed afternoon tea, I'd make a reservation for it ASAP!

We sat indoors with the option to be seated outdoors with heated lamps but we didn't want to smell the smoke from people smoking outside. We ordered the Dark Spell Latte, Albedo Spritz, and Final Word. The Dark Spell Latte is like an espresso martini with chocolate syrup added, which is pretty solid. The Albedo Spritz is a red wine cocktail with hard liquor, and stood out to me as they had 5oz of alcohol so this was fairly strong, but I would imagine most of the ounces came from the wine itself. I liked the gold dusted blackberry. The Final Word is fruity and smoky, which I enjoyed, but not warrant a hefty price tag compared to the other drinks.
