What amazing service and food! We came for dinner and breakfast the next day. Look I wasn't expecting much for a hotel restaurant. After a day of travel we were all tired and hungry and just wanted to refuel take a power nap and explore the city. But man we were surprised, the food was delicious the popcorn chicken was my favorite. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Such a great deal on "The Board". I wish I took a pix but obviously it was that good and it was all gone. They have this $40 charcuterie board where hummus, pickle cucumber, olives, bread and rice crackers come with it and the best is you get to pick 3 more choices for the board. The choices ain't short. The meat and cheese board goes beyond a standard charcuterie with scotch eggs and baked brie in a little pan. Even the dips have a twist, like beet hummus instead of regular hummus or the feta whip. The tortillas on the tacos were a bit thick, so I think those could be upgraded. The service was quite good, with the server coming back frequently to top up water and check on everything. The space itself is a bit strange as it's kind of on a split level from the lobby and actually quite small. It was surprisingly busy, however, so reservations are recommended. We all ordered drinks off of their cocktail menu for our first round, except my friend's husband who had a Whiskey Sour. I had The Odd One: Odd Society Wallflower Gin, Odd Society Crème de Cassis, Phillips Dry Tonic & Lime. It was nice. Good gin and good overall flavor. My next drink I just went for a staple, my favorite, a Negroni and I got an Empress Negroni since we are IN Canada! My husband had East Meets west: Odd Society Wallflower Gin, Odd Society Crème de Cassis, Sparkling Wine & Lemon. I didn't like it as it was too sweet for me, but he enjoyed it. Next he had the Island Frost: Long Table Akavit, Blue Curaco, Citrus Syrup & Lemon. My friend also had that for her second drink. And they both remarked on how sweet it was. She equated it to a popsicle. So NO need for me to try it. We didn't eat, as we had come specifically to drink after dinner. They've got good drinks but I can't say I would return since the service was mediocre at best in comparison to what I've had in Vancity this week in other places. I know it was busy but so have other spots we have been at and we were never left with empty water or cocktail glasses by choice elsewhere. Well, the people who work here are super nice and very attentive. We stayed in the hotel and had one of the share boards for dinner with a couple of cocktails, two room service delivered desserts, and breakfast delivered in the morning. The good: truffle sausage, blue cocktail , caramelized onion dip, and beetroot hummus were tasty. For breakfast, they managed to cook a scotch egg so that the yolk was still runny, which is super hard to do, and they made crisp bacon very well. The bad: salmon dip bland, squash rings absolutely awful, mushy poutine croquettes would have been bad were it not for the caramelized onion dip, potato chips super over seasoned, dessert horribly over-sweet, ruined the crab on the lovely scotch egg with a super artificial tasting South Asian curry powder that clashed with what felt like some kind of cross between an avocado crema and a chimichurri dip, and they forgot our toast in the morning. It's really unfortunate, because *someone* knows how to do *some* hard and interesting things really well, but their sense of taste is shockingly ..... wrong. I think it can be improved-- they just really need to get someone new to come in and taste things and go over seasoning and with the chef. read more

FYI the restaurant has recently reopened but no more custom boards due to the shortage of staff. finally got to try this restaurant out - it was supposed to be my bday restaurant like 2 yrs ago before covid decided to rain on everyone's parade. caught up with p, who s and i haven't seen for a while. we were all at the restaurant early (lol unplanned) and started hh early. there is a limited menu - again due to staffing - and we ordered the chili lime wings, brussel sprouts, hummus and truffle fries. i loved the wings, sprouts and fries. i found the hummus a little bland but it balanced out with all the other flavours on the table. i wanted to give a shout out to our server/bartender. he was super attentive and provided a great gin suggestion when i needed it. i started off with east meet west - an upscale version of french 75. then i had the hh rum punch - you def get your bang for your buck with this one. i had sips of the sangrias - both red and white - and found them to be on the sweeter side. i ended the night with my go-to g&t, with the recommendation of the deep cove distillers mediterranean gin. it was herbal and juniper-y - i was surprised by the strong herbal taste but it wasn't so bad that i couldn't drink it. once the custom boards return, i'm def returning! read more

This restaurant came up when we googled "Vancouver Best Brunch" so we definitely went in with high expectations. The decor and ambiance are that of a hotel restaurant, which is exactly what this is. It had an 85" TV showing WWE highlights at 11 AM on a Sunday. The booths and tables were dated and the artwork was nothing special. The service we had was unfortunately not great. Not only did we feel rushed to leave when there were dozens of tables available, but it seemed like our server was intentionally pouring our glasses of water to booby-trap levels where even the slightest movement would have them spill over. The food itself wasn't terrible, but the descriptions on the menu don't really give you a lot to envision, nor do they include details of all the items that will be served. The plating was a definite high point as the food looks outstanding as it's served. I personally had the chopped salmon bagel, and it was fine, it just wasn't something that I would go out of my way to order again for $24. We thought it was brilliant to place an advertisement for the hotel Resturant, Stock and Supply inside the elevator. Although we didn't order a Charcuterie Board from what we saw on other tables - it was a work of art. People can select, thereby customize a Charcuterie Board of their choice. We initially came here for their beautifully made cocktails and while the cocktails were indeed beautiful, they were small and just meh in taste. Their photos are deceiving as they appear quite a bit bigger than they actually are. For what you get, their cocktails aren't worth what they're charging in my opinion. The happy hour purple cloud was still $17.00. What actually surprised me was their food! I'd order the pork katsu tacos again in a heartbeat. They were delicious, the katsu cooked nicely and the slaw that you add to the tacos worked perfectly. Their stock board we get was a great value for what you pay for. With what we ordered, it was more than enough food for the two of us. The service was quick and attentive and extremely friendly. Elegant, delicate and exquisite with delicious food - Stock & Supply is a perfect complement to the Delta Hotel for business meals. I spent two days here for their breakfast. The food was fresh and sourced with local ingredients. The meals were well-made, hot and prepared in an appetizing way. The menu is a bit on the pricier side but I think it fits in with the hotel's price range and acceptable for most business visitors here. The portion you get is quite big so I was satisfied. The first day I got the Smoked Brisket Hash. I loved the side dish mashed veggies/sweet potatoes. The eggs were also poached well. The meat was sauced perfect - although there was a lot of meat which got a bit repetitive near the end. Nonetheless, a great breakfast. The second day I got the classic breakfast (Farm Fresh Local Eggs). Even though it is something that we can get in every breakfast restaurants, I was pleased at their food presentation. It was a big breakfast with everything you want in equal proportions. Potatoes were especially good. This is part of the hotel package which includes two breakfast meal tickets every day of your stay. It would be great if you're here for a business trip for 3-4 days which takes care of the need to go outside to get breakfast (there's nothing good around). However, if you're staying for longer, you shouldn't get the deal - go out to explore! read more

My Fiancé and I were staying in the Marriott this is in, we went twice for drinks and once for breakfast. The drink service is 10/10 across the board, the bartender was exceptionally friendly and made great conversation, the drinks were fantastic, and it's not terribly priced. Breakfast service is where I had to knock a point down. The price is a bit much for what it is and our server was in a huge rush (it was not busy, there were more open tables than occupied ones). When she came to take our order she was too fast for us to make modifications to the food and she didn't ask what we wanted to drink. The stocked classic is a standard egg and toast with potatoes and your choice of bacon or sausage, however our server didn't ask which I wanted and just said that I'm getting bacon with it. I think if we had been able to order our drinks then it wouldn't have been a big deal, but she was in such a hurry to get our food in that it felt like we weren't getting good service. The food itself was pretty bland and the salt on our table was empty. The potatoes I was presented with were russet potatoes that were a bit over-boiled and under seasoned and the bacon was definitely cooked too long. I wouldn't say it was worth the $25 price point. Overall, the bar is fantastic and the small food selection during happy hour is good, but the breakfast service could use some work. read more

The services is amazing, the room area is perfect for going out on dates as it's quiet enough to hear each other's conversation. I love every staff so far that has come to serve our table. The drinks are great however I'm a bit mixed on the food and the price. For example the steak frites while the beef is cooked really well for medium, the sides aren't something to write home about, the salad was also decent, I'm guessing the price of beef could be the factor as the rest taste decent. The seared salmon was also good, but again the sides were a bit of a letdown considering its price. I find that their cocktails are well worth it, just wish the happy hour sharables are available on the dinner menu so we can order more sides and drinks. I would come back to try out happy hour next time. It's at 9pm folks! read more

Real talk: I have several former coworkers who are part of the opening team here, so I won't be giving my full four point review as it's a conflict of interest (aka, I'm biased). In lieux of my normal system, I will simply give Stock and Supply a solid 4 out of 5 -- really the service and food quality was spot on, interior design was cool, and seating was comfortable, so I should be giving a 5, but I'm trying to take into account that I'm biased. Went here with my girlfriend for lunch, and saw a friendly face in a former coworker. He got us started off with water, before our server took over. We ordered a draft beer to start. The tap selection is good, and cocktail menu also looks interesting -- tons of local stuff, which is nice to see. Shout out to my friends at Sons of Vancouver -- nice to see their Amaretto on the back bar. For our meals, we had the brisket sandwich and chicken, which were both fantastic. Great job guys. For a hotel restaurant this place was delightful. The drinks were great, and the food was pretty good too. The brussel sprouts were the star of our stock board and their mezcal drinks were delightful. We also got the strawberry shortcake which was very good. I would definitely recommend for a happy hour.
