We ignored the first two times she rang the bell and then answered the 3rd time. She tried to give her sales talk and we quickly questioned her about coming to our door. She said she didn't see the sign, but in our video footage she is clearly reading it and ignoring it each time. Would never use this company. I liked that they were a local company and I saw that they had good reviews so I accepted their inspection offer- and they found significant roof and siding damage on my home. Don't appreciate Lori soliciting my house after multiple attempts and demanding to speak to the homeowner and wanting to just go ahead and sign us up for damage to our siding from "recent storms". Definitely haven't had any storms recently. Then leaving a fake warning on my door. We've only spoken to her through our ring doorbell and she was rude and pushy. Alright apparently all it takes is a lukewarm yelp review and they are suddenly all over it. While I understand there were issues with emails going to spam folders, when I asked for some additional information and never received it I reached out to them. I emailed them to make sure we had the right address and waited on a response. I got a one sentence response with none of the information requested so I sent a text following up. That was July 16th. Finally we called up another company who has been great. After having a good experience with them, I decided to leave a review. Now I've had them contact me via Yelp and email which is funny because they couldn't get me via email before I left a review. I will give them credit for following up after my first review, but be prepared to go with another contractor if they do not respond. read more

We had a wonderful experience with ARC. Ours was the 4th home on the cul-de-sac that they did . Their price was very good, they worked with my insurance (USAA) well and they were very accommodating to our schedule. The roofing portion took one day (large roof) and the cleanup was excellent. Siding took a bit longer but that was because the chimney firebox for our fireplace was all rotted out...they completely rebuilt and sided it at no expense to us! Again,cleanup was great. They also installed gutters (great job...guys been doing it for 28 years...a real pro. All the work was done on schedule, they showed up when they said they would, cleanup was great, and no hidden costs. I very, very highly recommend them and, as a homeowner for 40 years, I rarely write these reviews or feel this good about a company. We worked with Dave and he is THE BEST! Took care of all our concerns, was on site every day and paid close attention to every little detail. We resisted all the folks coming around looking to reside our home ( original aluminum siding 40 years old) because we didn't feel we could trust them. ARC is local, stands by their work and does an excellent job...5 Star! UPDATE: It has been a couple of years since ARC sided our home and I wanted to pay them yet another compliment...as sometimes happens in large projects like ours, small details can be left to be finished. ARC was outstanding in returning to our home to ensure every detail was completed to our satisfaction. Jim, one of the owners, personally made sure everything was done correctly and we really appreciated his attention to detail. Our home looks great, several large storms have revealed no imperfections in their work and I can highly recommend them. Unfortunately Dave, the outstanding guy who oversaw our project, has retired but I have no doubt that whoever filled his position will be excellent as well. These guys are not storm chasers...they are local, they are experienced and they do it right! Give them the opportunity to bid your job...I doubt you'll be disappointed. Do not use this company, they wasted my time saying I could get all new siding and roofing...but when push came to shove and the insurance company came out, the ARC worker was completely overmatched. I'm not sure if they were trying to pull a fast one on my insurance company or actually thought the hail claim could get done, but either way, it didn't work. Worst of all, when it came time to help with my minor roof work I did need, they said they don't "do partial jobs" and bolted. Save your time and use a reputable company instead, not these door-to-door charlatans. read more

Brian was excellent at guiding us through this project. Brian made so many recommendations that totally changed the results of this remodeling work. He took a project which would have turned out well and changed it to a project that turned out outstanding. We have all seen homeowners make bad choices in remodeling; choices which have little difference in cost but can have dramatic effects on the finished project. Brian helped to guide us towards those terrific choices. He is the kind of person you want to work with, someone who wants you to end up with great results without only focusing on the financial side of the picture. He makes recommendations that make sense and are affordable. Details about the work completed: This project started as a hail claim for siding replacement. Another company came out to the property to assess damage, but missed most of the damage. Brian found substantial damage in all sort of places that a less experienced assessor did not. Brian has a great deal of construction and this experience made him that much more of an asset on this project. The insurance company agreed with Brian's assessment and covered new siding, roof, and gutters. Now with many other construction companies, the work paid for by the insurance claim is the only work that would have been done. Other companies may not recommend well timed upgrades as Brian did. Brian pointed out that while the siding was off was an excellent time to replace the windows. He gave us competitive quotes on a good quality replacement window. Then Brian also made the recommendation to upgrade our window wrap material from the standard aluminum (which dents easily) to LP Board (which looks like high quality wood work, but is maintenance free). At the same time all the other work was being done, the front porch pillars were also replaced and wrapped with matching LP Board. This gave the house a nice overall finished look. Matching paint was also used to tie in the front door and garage door. For the window replacement, work was done on all the window sills to correct any imperfections in the old, damaged, woodwork and dry wall was patched and repainted. Wasted our time for two years. ARC Restoration rep knocked on our door to see if we were interested in getting a free evaluation of our siding and roofing, after that was completed, we were told that roof is fine, but siding has hail damage and could be replaced thru the insurance company. The rep took all of our insurance information and told us that he will be in contact with the insurance company and with us. We have not heard from anyone for almost a month, then I started calling the ARC Restoration, I was getting a run around, and then after promises and promises of someone calling me back, no one called and they just disappeared. Then the next year came, the rep knocked on our door again, wanting to see if we are still interested, we said that we were and then the story repeated itself. I spoke to two people over at that company, Cornell and Dean, and both of them disappear as soon as they tell you that they will be in touch. The bottom line is this these people just lie and waste your time! read more

ARC contacted us after a hail storm late this spring and, after inspecting our siding and roof, said we had hail damage. Worked with the claims specialist, Dean, who was great about contacting our insurance company and meeting the insurance adjuster at our home for the insurance inspection. However, when the insurance adjuster said we had no hail damage but did have damage from a leak in the roof, Dean could not be contacted by phone or by e-mail when I tried to reach him to see if ARC wanted to do the repair. It would seem this company is more interested in the quicker turnover of replacing siding and roofing from hail damage and getting reimbursed for that then dealing with more substantial roofing issues. Not saying they are a bad company, just saying to be cautious. Yes, they did not charge us anything for the preliminary work they did, but they should communicate better- i.e. say when they are not interested in doing a job. ARC recently completed our siding, gutters and some roof work. They were helpful from the beginning in identifying the hail damage and working with the insurance company to pay for the work that needed to be done. Dean was very responsive to us and managed and coordinated the specialized workers that came out to do the work, which was started and completed quickly. We are very pleased with the materials and workmanship of the siding, trim and gutters. The workers went beyond our expectations and all of the worn wood around the windows and garage door were replaced and beautifully trimmed. The gutters are larger, attractive and more functional. The roofer thoroughly inspected the roof and fixed what was needed and did some extra caulking. I will call Dean when I need more work done. Highly recommend them!! read more
