The overall ambiance was very fitting and they had a large selection of various arcade games ranging from nostalgic retro American games to Modern day Japanese Fighting/Rhythm games. It's an arcade with a pay one price at the door (Believe it was $25 each No Re-entry with another higher price to come & go) MOST games are set to free play. Why there is a tip option for paying entry was a bit ridiculous. I get it for bartenders & servers providing an actual service but admission?!? Some games are not free, these are the games where you can win prizes which is understandable. There's a lot behind the building for free parking. Having grown up in the 80's the atmosphere is captured pretty closely with blacklight friendly designs & lighting. For what it is, the job gets accomplished. It's catering to the teenager & up demographic so maybe take the younger kids to Chuck E Cheese to catch their game demo. The girls working there were covered in blacklight makeup & cool outfits which added to the fun vibe. I think there are promos if you dress up in cosplay. There is a bar with food & drinks but the menu is rather limited & pricing is a bit high in my opinion for beers & rivaling that of some clubs & stadiums. Arcade wise, there's a LOT of Pinball, a bit more than I was hoping to see as the real estate is limited. There's multiple Air Hockey tables & Billiard tables. One Air Hockey is 4-way which was pretty cool & different. For driving games, you had a good amount of Mario Kart, Initial D, etc but since it's a Free play setup, there's really no motivation for someone to ever get off a machine. You could literally never have the opportunity to play the game you want unless someone decides to get up or show some courtesy. That's a major downside I couldn't get passed. There's basketball hoop games, dancing games, shooters, fighting games, & a big chunk of the retro early arcade games of the 70's & 80's. These are the types of games you'd have seen in Wreck It Ralph if you're a bit younger. Overall, it's not bad for the price unless you don't like the games they have or someone never gets off the game you were looking to play. YMMV, maybe the place is 4 or 5 stars to you, but the downsides it presented in my opinion yields a 3 for me. read more

Kids loved Mario Kart, the 4 way skee hockey, and bowling game. My father in law liked all the new latest pinball machines. My brother in law loved the DDR and fighting hames. My husband liked the Initial D. And I liked the boxing (I've never seen it before) and all the story mode available on all the fighting games. There is a ton of parking and they don't seem to mind if you bring in a drink. They have a vending machine with anime Ocean Bomb sodas. I was looking for the two I don't have of the sailor senshis but couldn't find them. They are $6.50 a can. It's not too crowded on a weekday. You don't have to wait long for a machine. Cons: it gets hot fast. Be prepared to get hungry and dehydrated and buy one of their over priced items. Some of their machines were out of order. read more

This is a cool looking arcade, even the bathrooms are fully decorated. The gal working at the entrance was helpful. The employees at the concessions stand were a different story. They spent more time on their phones and talking to each other instead of taking orders and preparing food. We went up to the counter when our pager buzzed but there was no food. We got back in line to tell the cashier and they went to find our order. We were there for 4.5 hours, overall it was ok, the kids had a good time. Just a thought, it would be nice if they would waive the no-play admission fee if you spend a certain amount on concessions. We spent over $150 while we were there and that's on top of the price of admission. We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, it added up to almost $300. Do NOT throw a party at the I-Drive location. I'm disappointed by my recent experience at Arcade Monsters', I-Drive location. I spent just under $1,000 for the total. I was shocked when advised I had to pay a mandatory 18% gratuity on each admission. I understand there is a sentence when reserving the room that states all reservations are subject to an automatic 18% gratuity. However, that implies the room reservation is, not the admission of each patron. If I had my guests pay individually for their own admission, each guest's admission would have been without the 18% gratuity, as with all other patrons. To make matters worse, I had reserved the room which included karaoke, but when I arrived, I saw it was not in the room. I asked about it and I was told that the karaoke had been removed from the room without any prior notice or explanation. This significantly impacted my event's entertainment and overall experience. If I were aware that the karaoke would not be available I could have reserved a different room or venue. The room offering karaoke was advertised somewhere for me to have known that fact. For instance, the virtual tour which you can only view directly from their website. Additionally, I confirmed the food I was going to order in advance, to make sure the food would be available. When the food was ordered one of the main items was unavailable because they had run out - despite confirming that it would be available. All of the food purchased was charged the mandatory 18% gratuity. I agree with providing gratuity for good service but that just was not the case here. This experience added stress and chaos to my event. Given all the issues, and more that I accepted my own responsibility for, I reached out to the facility for them to rectify this. They greatly lacked any customer service as they rebutted each of my issues as my fault or simply refused to respond to them. So just beware. As other reviews have said "a fun place" but do NOT try to have an organized birthday party here. read more

went earlier this month and it was so fun! it's a pretty good deal for unlimited game play! they offer a lot of different types of games like pinball, pool, switch games, dance games etc and they're all so fun! some of the games were broken (the walking dead shooter game only had one working side) and some were just out of order / not functional which was a a bit bumming but they still had a lot of perfectly fine ones! it's pretty big place w a really cool atmosphere! we ordered some drinks and it didn't take long at all for them to be ready but we did go a bit earlier in the day before there was a lot of people! overall was super fun and would love to go again and try the other location! read more

I can't believe that they have been open for about two months and I haven't been here yet. I knew of the one near UCF; however I was completely unaware that this really neat place existed. So for a flat fee of $24 you get unlimited games all day, and able to purchase food and drink through their small restaurant. They do have a bar where single shots are $11 and double shots are $15. They also have a Boba tea and soda available to drink. Their food ranges from pizza, two burgers, two chicken nuggets and fries. The lady at the front counter was very nice she said once I come in though I can't like leave to go to my car and come back in. So there's no re-entry once they stamp your hand. This is such a cool thing for families around Orlando for looking for something fun to do or a really neat date night idea! So this arcade monsters is literally right off of international Drive near Universal it is right past the feeder golf off of iDrive. If you haven't been here I definitely recommend; I came here with a group of friends and it was honestly so much fun. 10/10 read more

Cool to have unlimited games and so many to play! Ski ball was a bit broken. The staff are super nice and dress up in cool arcade/anime outfits which is fun. Their food is better than a standard arcade but not amazing. Their chicken items are great and they have some good sauce options. It is a scratch kitchen but a limited menu. If you're coming for dinner, check there is enough offered for the whole family to eat and be full without breaking the bank. The food containers have cool tear away tabs which make sharing super easy. We tried a mix of drinks. The slushees are really sweet so you better like sugar. The mixed drinks are better and worth the price. They use a boba tea seal for them which is neat. The only draw back was all of the hand sanitizers were out or hard to find. We went and paid for 2 for 25.00 each. It asks for a tip which is strange for admission- like what is the tip even for? but there was a no tip option. I chose text receipt and when I checked a $10.00 tip was added. I went back right after and said I did not tip $10.00. She gave me a refund and did not ask if I tipped at all , which made me wonder if it's a known issue or really a mistake. my guest and I both watched me choose no tip. There are a lot of fun games, and classic pinball machines. We spent a few hours mostly at the pinball and arcade games. Skee ball and air hockey were always busy. It was a busy weekend day early afternoon. i only saw about 4-6 games out of service. Overall I would go back again but just watch your receipts or price upfront. They do not take cash. I wanted to like this place but it seems like more of a tourist trap than for locals. Let me start out by saying that i work in the service industry and no one here seems to be happy that they are serving... $25-$40 at the door is a little bit pricy but worth it for the amount of games available inside. HOWEVER, they do NOT accept cash. which would be fine except that they charge you a fee for using a credit card. um. so i could use cash and you don't have to pay credit processing fees, but you won't allow me to use cash so I have to pay YOUR fees. that's ridiculous. that is deceptive business practices. just make your prices to include your fees than, do not charge me extra because you don't want to pay enough for the type of help that won't steal cash from your drawer. At some point i decided to try the food. that was a mistake. they advertise themselves as a SCRATCH kitchen. to most people that would mean that things were made from scratch that's not the truth here, here they must mean that they scratch the labels off the sysco boxes or something. SPENT TEN DOLLARS on cheeseburger that was advertised as 1/4 lb. (doubtful). said it had cheese, grilled onions, ketchup, and garlic aioli. i asked for no ketchup. i got a tiny burnt patty with cheese on a burnt bun. i asked about the other ingredients and was told the cook "forgot" about the onions. and they were "out" of the garlic sauce. the lovely lady behind the counter was nice enough to try and offer to remake it which i declined because i could see the way overly hot grill smoking from the dining area. the grill was too hot and anything that came off it would be just as burnt and inedible. i eventually settled on some replacement chicken nuggets. that once again for some reason i thought might possibly be made there for some reason. no just some BS frozen nuggets with a commercial ranch cup. the food does not match the photos. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND EAT BEFORE YOU COME. Next, they allow people to come in here and hustle/harass you to buy candy from them with sob stories. we watched as other patrons complained to security and security said they'd handle it and then didn't do anything. the coolest thing about this place is the ambiance the wall murals and the games. maybe offer a fl resident discount and revamp the whole kitchen area of your establishment. read more

For adults, a full service alcoholic beverages include slushies. The atmosphere is upbeat and colorful with anime decor all over even the bathroom, which is a fun place with comic book wallpaper. I love arcades! I had been to the arcade monsters in Oviedo and I was so excited to find out they opened another one on I-drive (super smart imo). The concept is great, pay one price and all the games are free. I love that I was able to actually fully complete house of dead (even with dying a bunch of times) This location focused a lot on the old school arcade games and pinball machines but still had a decent selection of the newer games. There were definitely some grand opening kinks tho. Quite a few of the machines were having issues or were out of service (for ex: only one of the six (?) skeeball machines were working). And it was hot. They had some fans spread around so maybe the air wasn't working properly? The door girl was super nice but the staff at the drink/food counter weren't great. Not as friendly and we're standing on their phones not looking up while I was waiting. I had to say "excuse me" a couple of times before they looked up. All in all, it was still fun. Awesome spot in a smart area. We got there about 3p and did unlimited play for 25 bucks a person which a pretty good deal and nearly all the machines were working. There was a ton of people tho so sometimes you would have to wait for the machine to open up. As the evening progressed on a sat night there was a line out the door so I suppose we were there at a good time. The interior is epic with decor to match all fan favorites. Lots of different machine options and pinball! In the front there's also a large selection of Japanese vending machines with tons of cute overpriced drinks and snacks... but like, your willing to spend the money because when will you ever see Gudetama chips again!
