After contacting several AC companies to get quotes on installing a mini split system on my place.... Arcadia (James) was the only person who actually showed up. Highly, highly professional, he came across at first meeting as very honest and trustworthy. He discussed my options with me, gave me a couple of choices on way to go with prices and I agreed to let him and his company install the unit. 4 days later, his crew showed up at my house and began the work. Much to my surprise, James also showed up and was working along side his employees. That impressed me, greatly. Typically one does not see owners of a business out in the filed working side by side with their employees. Start to finish, the project took them just a few hours and by that afternoon, I was sitting in nice cool air. During my initial consultation, James had told me that going with the system I went with, would generate me as having an electric bill that would run me under 100 a month to cool my little place. I was skeptical because I had moved from a place of almost the exact square footage and never had an electric bill under 150 during the summer months. Received my first bill and it was 93 dollars and some change, received my second bill, which was for a full month of using the unit and it was 91 dollars and some change. The difference being, I had stopped manually raising and lowering the temp trying to find the perfect temp for me. But, James was right, under 100 to cool my place. I couldn't be happier. James and his crew were professional, courteous and super friendly. By end of day, they were starting to feel like friends. One of the workers even helped me out with another issue I had, both beneficial to him and I. From my initial contact and subsequent convos with the front office, to my consultation with James explaining my options, to the actual installation, I couldn't have been happier. My air conditioning went out about 6 o'clock on a Sunday night, but of course. I pay for a service that covers all my appliances and/or any electrical type issues. I just call them first (America Home Shield) and for $120 they'll come fix whatever it is, they damages after that you on your own so when my air went out Sunday night and I called and they told me I'd hear from someone in 24 to 48 hrs, I thought "are you kidding me?", this is Arizona and your house, your old house with no insulation get very hot very quick. I immediately called another company and it just so happened to be Arcadia Air. First, I was told they would be out here first thing in the morning, then I was given a 2 hour window, wow. Justin called ahead and was even on time. Although our AC was replaced 3 to 4 years ago it has been neglected since. I'm not sure of what he did but I had air. With our A/C out for two days already in 118 degree weather, with no bs, no excuses Jimmy the owner came to our home, addressed the issue recommended a new unit, WAY lower than what all the other companies had offered, we were skeptical but went with it. I can't say enough good things about Arcadia Air and Jimmy! Living in Phoenix, we all know how unbearable the heat can be, especially in June when temperatures soar well over 100°F. So, you can imagine my dread when my AC decided to quit on me at on a Wednesday night. I tried everything to fix it myself, but nothing worked. I started calling around and was so lucky to get through to Arcadia Air. I spoke to Jimmy directly, and he was an absolute lifesaver. Within an hour of our call, he arrived at my house and got to work. Jimmy's expertise was evident from the start. Arcadia air came to my house this morning. I contacted them through Yelp. It wasn't but 5 or 10 minutes after that that they replied back to me. We quickly set up an appointment with their technician between 8:00 and 12:00. They literally probably showed up around 8:30. I believe the tech that they sent name was Josh. I hope I have that correct... He did an outstanding job diagnosing and relaying the information back to me in a way that I could understand the issues. He give me two separate quotes review. He was not the high pressure type salesman that I usually interact with. I would recommend them to everyone that has a HVAC concern. So glad I called Arcadia Air! Sunday morning, no AC, called @ 8:30am Our technician, Josh called back @ 9 to let me know he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival he inspected our equipment and discovered the condenser fan capacitor was faulty and recommended replacement. Josh also tested the condenser capacitor and found it to be barely within operating range, so he suggested replacing it as well. He offered 2 quotes, and we chose to replace both capacitors and also purchased a service plan, as the unit is older. EXCELLENT service, friends! I sent in a request for service last night at 10, was contacted less than 20 minutes later through the Yelp app, and had an appointment set for this morning. Josh was our technician and he was just great. He called to confirm he was on his way, was very friendly, and did an excellent job explaining the issue to us. within about 45 minutes we had air flowing back into our home. We are extremely happy with the quality of service and the timeliness of response 10 out of 10 recommend! My husband and I can't express how grateful we are for Arcadia Air. On New Year's Day we were met with quite a surprise upon entering our garage. Our water heater had finally given out on us and quickly filled our garage with water while causing damage to our wall. Arcadia Air was recommend to us by a relative so we took a chance while thinking there was no way they'd answer since it was a holiday. We were so wrong! On 8/30/22 I had my air handler replaced with all the associated modifications. Since that time the unit has worked flawlessly (although I expected nothing less). The installers, Janson & Michael, were friendly, thorough & most of all very attentive to every detail of the removal of the old unit and installation of the new. I waited 3 months before this review to make sure I could give a fair assessment of the work quality. Finally, the pricing is very competitive/fair, and the work was scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. I put out an SOS on yelp because our air conditioner kept blowing a fuse and shutting off. Arcadia Air was the first company to reach out offering next day at 6:00AM. After talking to James the owner over yelp, and eventually over text he said he was coming over immediately. He showed up 10 minutes later and was so professional and friendly. We had Manny from Arcadia Air out to service our air conditioner system. He showed up on time, told us what the service involves and what actions he was going to perform. He was efficient and allowed me to look over his shoulder while describing what tests he was doing and what the test shows about the system. He installed new filters that we had in the garage and washed the compressor system. We were pleased with his taking time to explain air conditioning systems and we look forward to having him out in the fall to inspect the heating system. read more

Our AC stopped working on a Saturday evening. Arcadia had a technician out to our house later that night, who was able to diagnose the issue. We had to replace the unit due to the nature of the breakdown, but Arcadia had measurements done on Sunday and installed the new unit on Monday. They even brought us a portable AC unit to keep cool in the meantime. They were very responsive, kind, and helpful, especially given that this all happened on a weekend.
