I went to my Orthopedic Surgeon for a pain in my leg and he sent me here due to the proximity to his office for a sonogram of my leg - looking for possible blood clots after a knee replacement. They were very busy and I had no appointment. The wait was long but I knew why and I was patient. When I was finally called, I was brought in to a room where I changed into a gown. The technician came in and performed the procedure. She was very patient. She explained everything that she was going to do and proceed carefully and efficiently. It is a very important procedure and mistakes can be deadly to the patient (me). I don't recall her name but she obviously knew what she was doing. We had quite a nice conversation. It turns out that it was her birthday that day so I wished her a Happy Birthday. The test came out negative and i got to go home instead of having to go back to my doctor. I live in Bellflower so I would not go here unless my surgeon (local) sent me but I heartily recommend it. read more

I called this center today to get some Xrays done the lady that had answered the phone had told me they would take me before 5:00 since it was a walk-in not by appointment I rushed over there, I get there at 4:30 and the young lady at the front desk told me they could not take me anymore. I was pretty upset, why would you tell me as long as you get here before 5 will take you. Makes no scene. read more

This place has horrible customer service. I had to schedule a MRI for my son and the actual appointment process was really easy. I scheduled it for their first appointment at 7am so my son didn't have to miss school. They told me over the phone I needed to be there at 6:40am. Then I also recieved a text confirming the appointment time and to arrive at 6:40am. The night prior to the appointment I recieved a call at 7:30pm asking me if I could bring my son by 6:30am instead of 6:40am because they needed me to fill out paperwork and in order to get him in on time because they were going to be booked I needed the extra time. Upon arrival this morning the doors were locked and the lights were off. Obviously upset we waited and finally at 6:38am we saw someone and tried to open the door in which she replied that they weren't open. When i replied back with why was I told to come in at 6:30am then, she replied with it was her first day so she didn't know. We were finally let in at 7:45am and when I confronted the lady at the front desk she said she didn't no why they would tell me that and they don't open until 7:45am. She was very unpleasant the whole encounter we had with her. I then called in to talk to a supervisor and only was told sorry by some lady and that she would send my concerns on to the supervisor. Never felt like they truly cared one bit. This was a first and last visit to this place. read more

Brought my father in for a few scans his Primary Care physician ordered. We had an appointment at 12p so we arrived at 11:40am as instructed. I saw that many people were irritated that they had been waiting so long, but didn't think anything of it since they were walk ins. Come my fathers turn and I kindly tell the tech that my father is hearing impaired and to be patient with him. She blew me off and asked me about the paperwork. Didn't show any professionalism or compassion towards my fathers's disability. Strike 1. So I stopped her and kindly told her I had given all of the doctors orders to the receptionist. She kept asking me where to scan for his ultrasound? Isn't that your job, why are you asking me? I handed her my copies of his doctors orders. She looks at them then takes my father back. Strike 2. I waited patiently... they were actually pretty fast this is the only reason I'm giving them 1 star. The tech comes out and tells me "It was very difficult to communicate with your father so I don't even know if the test were any good." So basically in a nutshell he told me my fathers disability was an inconvenience to him and the flow of his facility. Strike 3! Being in the medical field I don't understand how people that have no compassion work within the field. I cried because it isn't my fathers fault he has hearing loss and to hear a straanger tell you he was a burden hurts! Will make sure he never comes back here again! read more

I know this place has terrible reviews but honestly, that was not my experience. Anna at the front desk helped me make my appointments. I had to have an ultrasound on one day (Friday) and a CT scan and X-ray 4 days later. Everything w/ the ultrasound went great. Young lady that did the ultrasound was courtesy and personable. Then I had to schedule the CT scan and X-ray for follow up and Anna was very sweet and courteous and personable. The guy that did my X-ray was super nice as well, talkative and knowledgeable (I like that). (Sorry I can't remember his name). Then when I went in for my CT Scan, turns out my Drs. office ordered the wrong test for the pain I was having so the CT lady (sorry didn't get her name) rather than just doing what was ordered, took the extra step to call my Drs. office to explain to her the issue for my pain so they corrected the order and she got an urgent authorization. Again, she was thorough and experienced. I appreciate the fact that she took an interest in what I was saying and it conflicted with the scan that was ordered. Some people are just robots and I can't stand that. My only complaint is that I was told that I would be able see my results on the portal that night (that was Friday) after 5pm. Well today is Tuesday (4 days later) and I STILL CANNOT see the report for which my Drs. received on Friday. I had the follow up CT scan & x ray and also CANNOT see the report. My images are there, but obviously I am not a doctor that can read them. That is my only issue. I can only think that the people that were referenced in many of those bad reviews are perhaps not there anymore. Want a sure thing, work with Anna. She will take care of things for you. I had a pleasant experience even in this quarantined time. (Really it's the little things that count, a smile and a helpful person go a long way.) Oh and the parking is free. read more

I was VERY LUCKY in getting MRI technician ANISSA MARIE to guide me through my first MRI ... I must've been a good boy to have gotten so lucky! I was very appreciative for her calming demeanor and reassuring voice as she carefully walked me through using "clear and precise language" for this important procedure for my left leg health! In making small talk prior to the procedure, I shared that I was a retired ESL instructor and she told me she was a graduate of Arroyo High School. I told her that I was a substitute teacher there in the late 1990s/early 2000s which immediately gave us commonality = TRUST! It's like traveling to Europe where you run into someone not only from your hometown, but an alumnus of your high school ... immediate trust! Our meeting was a clear case of both "synchronicity" = "meaningful coincidence" and serendipity = "a happy accident!" I subscribe to metempsychosis aka The Transmigration of the Soul aka reincarnation and one of the tenets of it is that we're all given a "life script" to follow to learn specific life lessons prior to incarnating and animating a new body. I must tell you that if ANISSA is following her life script, she could not have chosen a better occupation and skill set to have mastered as her reviews from other patients will no doubt be as glowing as mine is demonstrating and suggesting a positive experience for all: the patient, Arcadia Radiology, the health profession in general and, of course, ANISSA herself. This place is the absolute fucking worst. The first time I came for a VERY important ultrasound I needed for disability and they completely screwed up. I showed up sick expecting to be seen and they ruined my order. The second time I had to come back, the lady was a bitch and didn't know how to give an ultrasound. Now they made an appointment for me without making sure my insurance covered it, and it didn't, and now my very important brain scan is cancelled and on hold because Arcadia radiology fucked up, AGAIN. This place needs to be more faster I walked in at 8:40 they took my info filled paper works and then wait to be checked in and I was checked in at 9:35 almost 1 hour and then more wait another 30 minutes to get an X-ray done, an hour an half. I thought X-ray supposed to be fast. The two star is for english speaking staff as they have very nice staff only. BTW if you are Chinese then this is a place for you because they have one person that speaks Chinese and they take none speaking English so Chinese cut lines, I guess they are more important than then others. its the worst radiologist I've ever had. I should not go to this one. no wonder there's no patient for 2 hours. Unlike other centers I was at before, they were always packed full every day every time. Their radiologist is experienced and nice. The girl I had as radiologist was the worst I ever had. I should never show up to this center. Now I have to redo my xray due to radiologist lack of.... just dont go here for radiology. they make you feel sorry that I used them. And then we came here on Saturday morning, July 1st, at the Arcadia Radiology center. Every time we visit, they've made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for. I took my mom to get a couple of MRIs at this office( 412 west Arcadia ). I was so impressed with the level of customer service. They greeted us very politely, even though it was late 7:30 pm. at the end of a long day. The young man John and Eve the other receptionist are so nice! My mom needed to use the restroom which is outside the office but in stead, he offered my mom the one inside the office so didn't have to walk far. He had the same courtesy for all patients he greeted. The Hispanic, young receptionist is also very helpful and polite. So impressed these two people are bilingual and totally dedicated to serve the people who walk into their office. I know it is their job but not too many people do what they are supposedly to do. You can tell is an innate characteristic of these nice human beings. I see them being polite to any one they encounter. I recommend this office without any reservations. Rosie, Caffelli at Arcadia Radiology collection department is the worst with telephone manner and sent my bill to collection without even billing it to me. They made an error in billing party, so I never got a bill. I asked for an explanation and she treated me with unprofessional attitude with much disrespect. Of course no apology given, supervisor name Edna was notified, of course no apology given. They seemed to have the worst work ethic and lack of proper training. They said they will cancel collection process due to their error but if I see a negative credit report, they better get a lawyer. read more

I had a stereotactic biopsy done Dec 28. Minnie was the technician that worked with me for the 90 min procedure. She explained everything carefully, making sure I knew every step of the way what was going on. Dr Z also explained the procedure again, and made sure I had no questions. There's a difference between checking off the boxes of what you're suppose to do, and performing your work with care and concern for your patient. OK, after just leaving their office let me share with you the "system" and it's simple: the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If you have an appointment, give them 15 minutes. If you haven't been seen by then start asking questions. How many are in front of me? How long can I expect to wait? Start counting bodies and make sure you follow-up. They will see you right away. If you are a walk-up, give them 20 minutes and start following up. Keep them focused on you. BTW, if someone makes a fuss at the desk and they take them right away, get up and ask questions. Seriously. They actually have too many people working the front and therefore not one of them knows who's next. They don't take ownership. In the end you will wait as long as you allow them to make you wait. read more

Get your stuff together! I asked if they could fit me in around my appointment time, it is now 11am, my appointment was at 10:10am. This is for an exam where I had to drink 32 ounces of water an hour before too! So as you can imagine, I am extremely uncomfortable. They asked if I wanted to reschedule, no...I drove in traffic with my bladder full and I got a babysitter, of course not! Service is really bad...you can have an appointment and still wait for 20 min+. It would be okay with me if they were just really busy, but there are times where you just see the receptionists talking to each other and you kind of just have to wonder...what is going on?! The space is pretty old too and the man who did my CT scan was really rude. He told me to take off my earrings and one of them was stuck and he was VERY unsympathetic and told me "to deal with it" and that my scan would include an "artifact" and be useless. Ummm...I'm pretty sure that's up to the doctor. The CT scan ended up fine and I had surgery without having to get another CT, so his attitude was uncalled for and frankly, unnecessary. read more

When we were checked they asked "Is Dr. blank the only doctor you would like us to send the results to." AND they even verified the address. Fast forward TWO WEEKS and we go to the doctor appointment and they never sent the scans. The nurse calls and was told they never told us they were sending it to the doctor. Don't care for the MRI procedure much as I have anxiety issues.( Yogic breathing came in very handy.) The procedure took about thirty minutes. The technician kept me informed of the time remaining.
