Unprofessional, disrespectful, arrogant, and pathetic. Waited two and a half years to get a new door, which they blamed on mail theft. After trying for weeks to schedule an appointment and get some communication, they just showed up unannounced, six weeks after an appointment was supposedly made, without confirmation. I complained to the office but they didn't provide me with a person who did have the time I heard great things from a neighbor. He insisted that was unusual but then again, he was a man so maybe he got better service. I can believe it now, I visited the showroom and told the front desk person I did not want to interact with the same guy if he was still on staff. A measurement specialist was scheduled, Different guy, the owner I think, came out took measurements. He said I would have quotes by the next week. After 2 and half weeks I called. And guess who is my installer? The same loser I met with 4 years ago one of the sons of the business. Once again, I got the, "I am was super busy today, I have to make calls," blah blah blah . . would get the quote out that night. It's now 3 weeks. IF arcadia door and sash doesn't want my $$$$ business then thanks for the brush off. DO NOT GO HERE. I also contacted 4 other window providers but Arcadia Sash & Door provided the most competitive bid. After watching Arcadia Sash & Door install windows at our neighbor's house, we contacted them to provide an estimate to redo our windows. During the neighbor's window installation we talked with the workers and felt they knew what they were doing. Our neighbor was very happy with the new windows. Matt came out to our home to get the measurements. We then visited their showroom and there were plenty of options. We found exactly what we wanted at a fair price, During our time at the showroom, they inputted our window measurements and provided an estimate. After providing a deposit, they ordered the windows and told us it would 3 months before they came it. After they came in, we would schedule installation. They were true to their word. They recently finished the installation and the windows are perfect! The crew, Jason, Ryan & Steve, came on time, were respectful of our property (and dogs) and did exactly what they said they would. It took them 4 months to get my windows installed and after they installed it incorrectly and didn't follow any of our designs we talked about. I spent almost 100k with this company and this is how they treat you. Windows went on damaged and incorrect(wouldn't take responsibility for the damaged windows). No call backs, no estimates...owner is a liar It's funny how on all the negative reviews, the owner Thomas just try to stir away the truth and make it look like the customer is on the wrong. I attached an email their employee sent and literally admitted to not sending the quote and you see in the owner's response saying they gave out the price right away lol...they only just sent out the estimate after seeing this review. WHAT A JOKE! And I did not ask them to drop the price, I was asking if they can clarify the labor cost, which Ryan said he will dicuss with Matt and get back to me and never called me back. Scheduled an estimate with Matt. He said he would call to confirm before he come, and he did not. 20 mins before the scheduling time, I had to call them to confirm myself. I'm in the middle of a full renovation of a hundred year old house, and have been doing my best to go with period-appropriate trims. I checked out several well-known spots across LA county for sourcing mouldings in addition to AS&D, but I didn't come across anyone at any of them who knew (or was interested in taking the time to share) about historical craftsman trim to the extent Matthew at AS&D did. He took a big chunk of his time to walk me through the different profiles, materials, and suppliers available, as well as advantages of setting up custom blades vs how to get what I wanted more cost effectively with more readily available options. Everything was recently installed and it looks amazing and fits the house perfectly. Highly recommend. read more

Honestly I don't like to write negative reviews. But I am speechless about the owner Andy . I've been waiting for my door for the past three months and due to pandemic, like everything else the making of the door was slower than usual and the cost of the door was way more expensive than before and all these are understandable. I accepted it. But after my handyman picked up my door we notice there was a missing piece on the second window frame. So I call Andy the owner and asked him how we should resolve this. First reaction from him was it's not his company's fault it should be my Handyman's fault after picking up that piece fell off. And that this usually doesn't happen and I'm just bad luck this happened to me. Then he said he could ask service department to come to my house make that piece. But I said it was ok my handyman could prob make the piece. (I was Trying to resolve this issue ASAP. ) then I suggest him he should check the door that comes in so this doesn't happened to other customers. And he said his men does check the doors. (Believe it or not) And then the next day I called Andy asking him if there's a way to make a peep hole on the door. He told me that this should be done when I preorder my door and it's my fault not mentioning to him, therefore he didn't do this. So I askedhim, shouldn't he be the ones that ask me if I need this peep hole when I placed my order ? Instead of assuming? His answer to me was these days people have Amazon ring and surveillance cameras therefore people doesn't usually ask for this peep hole. Then he told me that my Handyman probably can make this peep hole and it's very simply done. So again my handyman have to come to my rescue. All in all Andy is not taking any responsibility on things that happened to his customer. Or it's just the customer's "luck" if the door came perfectly or imperfectly. Andy, i understand in life things happens, but please stop the blaming game and pls help resolve and understand the issues for your customers the best way you could. read more

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Tom actually came out to measure all our windows and doors. He also had a set of plans of our remodel. Doors were supposed to be 8" jams, he ordered 6"... Skylights were ordered with trim that wasn't necessary and wouldn't deduct the cost...his error! Ordered a front door jam for a door we didn't pick out! Also didn't deduct the jam! Installation of windows was shoddy....insulation showing! A three paneled window doesn't work right, the 2 side openable windows hit in the center of the fixed section. We should have read the reviews before using this incompetent company!!!!! Just saw a commercial for Arcadia Sash & Door, on HGTV... What a joke! To respond to your answer.... This company was referred by an association member in oir complex. The pricing was very reasonable and the work crew did a great job installing our new windows, but as these reviews have stated, the communication was terrible. It started with the initial scheduling. I called twice to inquire about the order. First call a few weeks in, windows not ready yet, no problem. Called back a couple of weeks later to inquire and they were ready to schedule. Started to feel like I had to make contact and chase them but just let it be. After the job was completed, it took three+ months and 6 calls from me to get them to schedule a 15 fix job. First call this round was to ask about a screen that factory forgot, it hadn't arrived yet. 2nd call the screen arrived so I went to pick it up...and it had a sticker with a date showing it had arrived a week prior. 3rd call was to request to schedule and I was told they are busy and they will reach out to me, did not happen. Called again a 4th time a few weeks later to schedule, same answer. Called a 5th time to ask them to please schedule something and to call me by the end of the week, no call. Finally made a 6th call 2 weeks later and asked to speak to a supervisor, and wouldnt you know it, they were finally willing to schedule me. The crew member came out today and took all of 13 min to install a screen and fix some interior vinyl trim. This seems to be there MO. Great price and crew, bad communication. read more

They already had sent Matt to measure it all, but he still didn't follow up. I literally called and said I want to use them and spend $30,000 + and they didn't even respond. Hahaha they must be so busy that they don't need my business. Good for them! I would literally lose my job if I treated my customers like this. I doubt they will follow up or even read this review either. I hardly ever write yelp reviews, but I had to this time. I have never dealt with a vendor so unresponsive to their customer needs. I wish I read all the negative reviews before I hired this company to install my windows and doors. Don't expect them to come back in a timely manner to fix any mistakes after they take your money. Do expect poor workmanship, lies, vicious gaslighting, and non-existent customer service. I was ignored for months and left multiple messages for the owner literally begging them to come back to fix my door. By the time Tom the owner responded he blamed me for taking so long to address the problem! What? I've been badgering him for months and ignored! This is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm exhausted from dealing with the problems I've had and this company but I have kept all my interactions documented. Beware -- Sure they get a lot of business but it's not a testament to quality of their work. A lot of people default to them because contractors in the area use them. Knowing that they are on the higher bracket when it comes to cost, I assumed that it was worth it to pay extra in exchange for better service and better material/installation. I talked with Steve Seyarto " sales" everything good at the beginning but once you have sent the deposit the follow up is non-existent. Then it comes to the installation team... their first words " you should have done this different.." thanks!! your teammate suggested to do it this way, I am not a professional in this field so I rely on their expertise. I guess they are not aligned and the customer pays the price. the installation did not go as expected and Matt "service" tech entered into the picture, he did not follow up on my request whatsoever, I even asked to talk with the owner and they did not want to transfer the call. At the end, I ended up with a door that was not as expected and several hours wasted asking them to do their job. Does getting a new door take 6 months?!?!? and the customer having to chase them multiple time to get an answer?!?!?!?! by far, horrible customer service and quality If they do not improve on their overall performance this company will sink and it will be well deserved! read more
