I came into Arcaro's today for an estimate. They had sent me an email to schedule an estimate appointment, but it went to my spam box and I missed it. So I did come in today without an appointment, but both Michael A. and Claudia (schedule coordinator) could not have been more professional. Even though I have to wait a month to get the actual work done, I'd rather wait that time than go elsewhere. Based on their reviews and their in-person professionalism, I feel good that this is definitely a quality facility with professional people. I received outstanding service at Arcaros Auto Body shop and would highly recommend them. They gave me an estimate that actually the end price was lower, to my pleasant surprise. I have some experience in auto body work so can attest to the reliability and honesty they provided. They explained what the options were in a logical and easy to understand way and let me choose my own options. The end result exceeded my expectations and looks great even though, at my own choice, it was only primered, as I saved a bunch of money that way. I know from my own experience paint is one of the most difficult things to do. My car was already black and an older model parked in desert Sun for years, so took my chance besides it would be ready for a top coat if I chose. This place is a life saver! I was recommended this place by my sister who needed to fix a huge slit in her convertible. (Although they don't do upholstery),her experience with the customer service was so awesome we got my car done here. I came in Tuesday for an estimate, car was done by Thursday. Of course the repair wasn't anything major, just the side skirt looking like a hot mess. There was no time wasted, and the car looks brand new! Other places were trying to charge for paint and all this other random stuff. I also respect them for being able to handle how much of a disorganized mess I was, even if you're only in the car for a minute or two, I still felt bad. I was probably customer from hell. All work was done on time and was to a great standard. They told us what to expect in advance and actually surpassed our expectations.

Our car was struck from behind while parked, damaging the rear hatch of the SUV. We are scheduled to drive back home to Illinois from Palm Springs next week, a 2,000 mile journey. We are concerned to know if our vehicle is road worthy - if any hidden damage would make the SUV unsafe to make the trip and also want to make sure that there is no real danger of the hatch popping open while we are driving. Despite Arcaro's being booked up for the day, they fit us into their busy schedule and both the front desk person and the technician couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. The technician was thorough and professional, made a thorough inspection of the damage, and reported that the SUV should be fine to drive back home. My experience with Acaro's is one of the best I've had in a long time. I brought our car in for some minor body repair. Their price was very fair (considerably lower than the other estimate I received) and the timeframe to complete the work surprisingly short (again 2 days as compared to a week from the other vendor) - and they got it done even sooner than expected. They took me right in and did a thorough, detailed estimate on the spot (my final bill was within $10 of the initial estimate, by the way). Professional, Excellent Quality and Reasonably Pricing from a Friendly Family Business My mom's Nissan Sentra had damage to the bumper, above the driver rear tire and the closing plate above the tire. On October 24, after looking at a number of Auto Body Shops' reviews on Yelp and Google Plus, I phoned Arcaros Auto Body to arrange an estimate. We were able to get an appointment the next day with Michael Arcaros. Our expectation was to get an estimate around $1,000. Michael inspected the Sentra, made a phone call about a needed part and then went to his computer to work up the estimate. He provided a detailed estimate of $752.35 which is exactly what I ended up paying. Since we were able to leave the car after the estimate, Michael thought the car would be ready on Friday afternoon (two days later). We got a call around 10:00 AM on Friday that the car was ready for pickup. The car was perfect; it was like nothing ever happened to the car. Just gorgeous! This seems to be a family that takes pride in their business; the office and shop are clean and professional, the people are polite and friendly, the repairs are done extremely well plus they are fairly priced. Mike is an artist!! Among numerous other smaller jobs, he has painted two of our very special collector cars - a 1972 Honda N600 and a 1972 Buick Riviera. Both came out far beyond our expectations. Arcaro's Auto Body is a long-established location that my entire family dedicatingly brings their cars to for repair. I had the misfortune of getting in a car accident several years back and Mike really took care of my vehicle, making it look and run better than before the accident! My car had only ever been in one previous accident where I had been T-Boned on the right side. I was in LA at the time and couldn't take my car to Arcaro's... the passenger door squeaked for years. But in that second accident, here in Palm Springs where a senior citizen (no doubt a tourist) made a left hand turn from the right lane INTO my car, Mike Arcaro did a better repair than the previous autobody I'd gone to, and squeak be gone! I know from first hand experiences that their work is excellent, and i also know that their reputation in the community is tremendous.
