I told him I was there to vacuum my car and I literally asked him if the dumpster is where I throw away the trash. He said no, there is trash cans. I thanked him and I went to throw away literally some To go food trash and that's it not even a lot like a few containers and a water . He continued to come at me angrily and ask if I'm a paying customer and no dumping. HI reiterated , yes , I'm going to vacuum and possibly wash my car like I said. Angrily , rudely he said well fine then park next to the machine and use the machine. I literally said sir I can tell your upset and have energy around this , let's deescalate . But he wouldn't stop. And at that point I'm like well no I'm not going to spend my money here if you are going to treat me like that. He walked all the way across and angrily got super close to me , and that was not okay! I'm a short Filipino woman!!! Multiple times I said things like there is so much conflict in the world , why are you treating me like this? I also said I know you wrote a narrative and reacted , that happens but why don't you believe me? But he wouldn't. He was insistent that was there for "illegally dumping" and that's it. I said why are you treating me like this nas he literally said "Bwcause you're a liar " and said "you do things like this". He was attacking my character. When from the beginning I smiled waved said good morning and politely asked him where I would throw my trash away. No reasoning, no logic, he literally just decided to talk down to me, call me a liar for no reason. Don't support this business. It makes me wonder how he treats people in his life and I hope he doesn't treat his wife this way, or anyone else. In the reviews at the car wash I guess he's yelled at someone else. I'm not one to try to dissuade people from small business and honestly I was shocked to realize auntie haos was his and his Asian wife's bc the way he treated me . But he's a grown man and he made choices , and I'm a kind person going through a lot and his choice of how he treated me affects me , it doesn't feel good and now I have to figure out where I'm going to spend my $20+ to clean my car. I'll take down my reviews if I get an apology from Him. We all make mistakes and act out of inauthentic places. But bullying someone bc you're grumpy about paying for dump runs at the car wash business is not okay. How we treat others matter. You never know what anyone is going through so be kind. They offered a complimentary cold drink with different options (soda, water) and you just stay in your car while they work on it. They do a 33-point check along with the oil change. They also cleaned my windshield and I did not even say anything or request it. Alejandro asked me how my windshield wipers are. They also filled my coolant that was running low. Alejandro also lubed my door hinges and filled my tire pressure. All together I was quoted $112. They have coupons on their website so be on the look out if you want to save money. Alejandro helped me and he was communicative, seemed to know what he was doing, very kind and helpful, and I can tell he is honorable in his work ethic and works hard. A guy also helped with my service and showed me everything they were doing such as new bolts ensuring I know what they will be outI will most likely be coming here if needed during the rest of my time in Humboldt until I move again. This was my favorite oil change experience I have ever experienced in my entire life. After he checked me in, he asked me if I would like something to drink while I waited, and he brought me a can of Diet Coke. How nice. Yes, there are a lot of "upsells" here, but they are not pushy about it. They explained that they do not get a commission on any extras that they sell. And anything that they offer you, if you say no? That's it, no pushback. I understand, it's their job.... It turns out that my vehicle has an oil pan leak, so I'm going to have to have it taken to be double checked. I asked them if they would take a picture Of the pan and the gasket with my phone, so I could show it to my brother who does work on his own Cars. They took the picture without asking. The price for a standard oil change is approximately $65, but you can always find a coupons online just by googling the phrase "oilstop coupons.". I did it before I came in, and found a coupon for 50% off a standard oil change. Not bad at all. They treated me right, and I was in and out relatively quickly.
