Archetype Coffee is a cute little spot in the Omaha area. We were looking for a quick spot to grab coffee and pastries and unfortunately this was not it. If you have a lot of time and want to sit and chat and eat, this might be a great spot for you, but as people in a hurry, it was unfortunate that we had to wait a whole 35 minutes to order and receive our entire order. It was quite busy when we came in, and there were seemingly only two people working the front which is why it took so long. It took about 20 minutes to order because the person at the register kept going on and off to help the other barista to make the coffee. Our bagels also took about 15 minutes after ordering just to get toasted which was a little frustrating. The coffee was very good, and the bagels were too, but the muffin I got was dry and seemed a bit old. Maybe I just picked wrong, most of the other pastries had run out by this point. Still a cute spot, but not in my specific situation where we were in a hurry. If you have more time and come a bit earlier in the morning, you might have a better experience. read more

This was my first time at Archetype. I have had their coffee and pastries at various events. They are always fantastic. The shop is nice, with a beautiful array of baked goods. There was a line of people - the place is obviously a favorite to many. We were able to get our drinks and baked goods fairly quickly. We had messy food, and I looked around to try and find napkins. Finally found them by the front window. Odd that we didn't have a chance to get one at the counter. Everything tasted great. Since it was busy, we were sitting at the counter by the kitchen. I was not happy that there were all least 3 flies buzzing around us. I would really have preferred to not have this going on. Otherwise this would be a five star review. What a fun place! I've been to the Archetype in Blackstone but this was my first trip to the Little Bo location. Their coffee menu is great as usual, but I was really impressed with all the food options. They had sweet mags pastries and a full breakfast menu from Know Good. The menu was impressive and I regretted having breakfast before going. My friend did get the strata and let me try a bite, and it was sooo flavorful. With bacon, feta and some other add-ins that I don't remember, it was perfectly cooked and reminded me of a personal version of the version my mom would make on holidays mornings. I went to Archetype coffee during my trip to Omaha after it was recommended by my family. I stopped first thing Sunday morning and there were several people in front of me. While I was waiting a barista asked everyone in line what drink they were going to order. My coffee was ready when it was my turn at the register. I also ordered a bagel, I had the number they gave me in my hand when a worker, a male white with a limp, came from the kitchen and basically yanked the number from my hand. To my surprise when I made it to the front of the line, someone had given the cashier a gift card to buy people's coffee. There was just enough left to cover my latte! I'm a long time fan of Archetype but this review is more about Know Good, the breakfast/brunch option that Archetype in Little Bohemia has on the weekends. I was quite impressed with the variety of the menu, even though it didn't have an overwhelming number of choices. Our food came out promptly and was so tasty. I got the GK Breakfast Sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend. If you're hoping to bring a group of 4+, I'd suggest this location over the Blackstone spot. Hoping for some fresh air? They've both got patios, but you'll find more seating in general here as well. I stumbled upon this gem on our way to the zoo. Looks tiny outside, but inside it is spacious. We got an espresso and a cortado as well as a coffee cake.
