I was very impressed by Jose(?) when he first showed up to look at the project and submit a bid - he was so clean-cut, and perfectly groomed. Definitely a professional appearance. On the day of installation, the 2 guys that were to install the tile arrived (on time), and Jose showed up with them. I really appreciated the personal touch and time he took with the guys to go over the details of the project. The installers were very polite and very competent at what they do. I know that some people might say "It's just subway", but with the dark grout, there's really no room for error - any offset tile will catch your eye right away. A few times the match was not perfect (Small amount of paint purchased), and they decided to match a new batch at no cost. Fast forward now to 2025 where I purchased a few gallons for painting inside and out. I brought samples and they looked to be okay in the lighted area, but I never know until I paint a wall and it completely dries to be honest. This time the match was quite off to the point where I'd either have to paint the entire house or quite simply just get a re match to something that's closer. I had used maybe an eighth of the gallon purchased for the first room, so not much waste at all. When I brought it back with photos showing how off it was, I was greeted with a wonderful individual who basically smirked and said "That's a bummer". A bummer indeed, but one would think they would do something at that point. Nope, he merely turned his back to me to work on a new batch of paint for another customer. I asked if he could replace the match that clearly did not work, he told me "Company rules dictate we don't take paint back". He proceeded to tell me that other customers were waiting and needed his attention and that I'll have to paint my entire house as he couldn't get close to the match. So spend hundreds of dollars to fix a terrible match in hopes they get it right this time...I just took my business elsewhere and will never recommend Friedman's again to anyone for paint purposes, just truly sad customer service and willing to stand by a product. Ended up going to another paint store (Larger chain paint store) that matched it much closer to the original and stated they will re match for free if there are any issues. Lesson learned.

Service is warm, intelligent, and deeply informed. Plant selection for quality native plants is very good. Their plants are a little pricey --(perhaps 10-15% more than Home Depot for example) but they stand behind their plants/products. Any plants or products that don't work out, just bring your receipt and they will give you a store credit or credit your card. Much of the value Harmony offers is in the quality of the products, the plants, and the intelligent service. Seriously, there is nowhere else I could go to find out how to dig up a fern from acidic soil, and properly care for it while it overwinters before planting it under a nearby redwood tree in the Spring! Harmony Farms also carries extraordinarily unique products, such as Stella Natura's biodynamic planting guide and a wide variety of seasonal, organic specialty plants as well as hard-to-find organic soil amendments. Parking is abundant. They're located just off of the Hwy 101/Penngrove exit heading east. A large sign that says "Barn" offers a fairly quick turn on your R into a wide gravel driveway. Enjoy!
