This is not a heavily reviewed category on Yelp so I briefly read the reviews and picked Chao. Easy to find on 3rd St at the beach. It's in the same plaza as Metro Diner but at the other end. We popped in on a Saturday and were promptly greeted and attended to. We were able to look around a bit but also received some suggestions on what the staff thought would look nice which is always appreciated. We had it narrowed down to a few options and then talked amongst ourselves to make the final selection. The nice young lady entered the order into the computer and the manager or owner stepped in and told her to apply a discount which was super cool. They told us our order would be ready in a couple of weeks and sure enough they called on time to inform us it was ready. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, super selection of frames to choose from and the quality of the work was terrific!

I'm not so much of an artist, but do need things framed from time to time. The framing department at Reddi-Arts is one of the best kept secrets in Jacksonville. I've gotten some wonderful pieces framed by them over the years as gifts and for personal items of my own. The folks there are wonderful to work with and there are plenty of options for frames to choose from at affordable prices.

The price was excellent too, though I came at a time when they were running a 20% discount. But I was heartened to know that you get discounts in the future just by becoming a customer of theirs. Great store, I will be back in the future the next time I need to get something framed. And I hope my daughter will have hours of fun getting craft supplies here in the future.
