This is officially my new favorite pho spot! The prices are really good, and I like the self-order kiosks and self-serve garnishing station. The decor is unique and gives the place a cool vibe. The pho came out piping hot, which I really appreciated. The herbs were a little on the lighter side, but they were definitely there, and overall the broth and flavor were really good. I also tried the spring rolls--they were decent, but I probably wouldn't order them again. My only real critique is the garnishing station. I noticed some flies swarming around the vegetables, and a few of the garnishes didn't look as fresh as they could be. I think keeping everything covered would make a big difference. First time here at PHG. Overall it was good. I had the pho combo meal that came with a spring roll and a drink . The spring roll was a little small and so was the drink. I add meatballs for an extra price. I do not recommend this place for big group. If you do not like ordering on kiosks this might not be to place for you. read more

I ordered from here a few days ago. I had it delivered. The pork and shrimp vermicelli dish was super tasty. I easily was able to split it into two different meals. I think if you have any rice paper at home, they would be great to make a spring roll mixed with. I ordered their tofu and vegetable pho and that was subpar. I asked for a beef broth base. The soup itself definitely was lacking in flavor. They definitely provided a lot of the toppings. I felt like they could've added more broth though. They were having a promotion going on where you could get a free strawberry green drink. It was OK. Definitely had no sugar which is fine. I just added some and added some milk. This last part might be a bit more out of their hands since again I got this delivered. However, things were definitely placed poorly in the bag where I definitely had to be careful moving it from one spot to another without spilling anything. Excellent Pho, but a bit light on the proteins such that their ratio to the noodles is unbalanced. Next time I'd ask to pay for more. The broth is superb and there is a toppings bar with all the sauces, basil, cilantro, and bean sprouts that you want. Very diverse menu with plenty of appetizers, noodle options, plates, salads, sides, and sandwiches. Genuinely confused with all the 5 stars reviews. We were excited to try a new pho place. Ordered 1 BYO pho, 1 BBH, 1 order of spring rolls, 1 order of eggroll. I thought the concept was self-served and in and out quickly kinda thing. I was wrong. Order took 20 mins. Everything unfortunately was below expectations. My pho had probably 6 -8 slices of meat with very bland broth. The BBH was also on the same boat. The eggroll is crispy but the filling was also lacking flavor. Their springroll was only thing that was okay but they gave us a tiny amount of peanut sauce. Overalls, deeply disappointed. I rather go to pho cow cali, pho lucky or pho ga go. read more

Boba was a 10/10. We tried the Thai tea boba, strawberry smoothie boba, and lychee smoothie boba. The sizes were huge! The Thai tea shaved ice was also pretty good. Self-serve all you can eat with toppings available. I kind of wish the rice on the lemongrass plate would have been jasmine. I don't know what kind they used but it's a little dry. my boyfriend and i have been coming here for almost 3 years since before its major renovation. we were a bit skeptical ever since the renovation because we already thought it was great. BUT it got even better. You order at the kiosk at the front. They have a bar with all the sides you can choose from. I got the chicken pho combo, which includes the pho, a side of your choice (i got 2 pot stickers), and a drink (i got thai tea w boba). My boyfriend build his own bowl and you get to choose 2 proteins, he got 2 egg rolls, and a soda. ALL of that was only $37.45! The service is top notch and the server gave us 2 egg tarts on the house which was super yummy! I love all the new decor. All that to say they are doing amazing. :) read more

Plus, I love that they offer a bunch of different kinds of spring rolls so you can mix it up and keep trying more. The staff also keeps everything really clean, which is always a good sign. I also appreciated that they leave pitchers of water and cups on the table so you can help yourself--little details like that make things easier. After each group left, they wiped down the tables right away. The service felt casual but still attentive. It's a great place to unwind after shopping since it's right off the freeway by the North County mall. We stopped by on a whim and were really glad we did.
