My hot water heater burst and flooded from the attic to the ground floor. I contacted Arco Restorations and was greeted by a friendly representative who dispatched an agent to my home. Chad showed up right away and with his help and within minutes I had insurance approval to begin mitigation work. We discovered a major hot water leak under our home because we noticed our hardwood floors and steps were showing signs of cupping. We had been on a two week vacation during the leakage time and the home was excessively humid. We call our insurer Nationwide, and they gave us a choice but recommended ARCO. We contacted them and they were onsite to begin remediation within 90 minutes. The recovery and repair was quite extensive. All hardwoods had to be refinished, stairs removed and replace, insulation removed and replaced, crawl space mold remediated, etc. They did a great job throughout the process in quality of work, communication, and working with our time schedule. We experienced some water damage on our upstairs ceiling due to a faulty drain pan under the handling unit for our HVAC system in our attic. Through the claims process, ARCO Restoration was identified as a preferred contractor, so we proceeded to utilize them for the inspection/estimate and work to repair the damage. The inspector/estimator and project managers were both professional and prompt throughout the entire process. Once the estimate was approved, the the majority of the work was completed the first day, with subsequent portions completed by the end of the week. We had a pipe burst in our second home. The total leak was 76,00 gallons of water. The house was a mess! The water remediation folks showed up the next day. They were professional and displayed a caring attitude, like they understood how upsetting this is. The worked like crazy the first day and several days after. My neighbors townhouse caught fire and the smoke and soot came into my house mainly on the 3rd floor. The entire living space smelled like burnt wires. They started cleaning that Friday after Christmas. When I was able to come back into the house, the burnt wire smell was gone. They also cleaned the carpet and the HVAC system. I am very happy with the work they did. They also offered to come back to check on my house as soon as the another townhouse gets renovated to make sure the soot and dust does come back into my house.
