I am one of those lucky freaks who gets her arm sporked and drained every three months, and these folks do it with panache and a smile. No bruises, no pinches-- heck, I don't even need a cookie or a band-aid when I'm done. Online appointments mean you walk right in and are called within moments, the way G-d intended. [Edited to add: As of 2/1/2011, they no longer accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If you're a BC/BS customer, ya gotta go to Labcorp.]

When I finally go up and ask where I am on her list she says she's been calling me for a long time. If true, you need a better system to communicate to patients. If false, you need a better employee. Of course in the monopoly of lab services business there is little if any options, so I guess they can continue to be a dysfunctional hole. On the bright side, the Phlebotomist was delightful.
