If you like high end clothing/outdoor gear, this is your spot. Great selection amongst the boutique shots on NW 23rd.

I can also tell you that I will very soon be ordering, The Weekender. I am a leather goods junkie. I have countless backpacks, duffles, totes and man bags. I have them from all the major designers and companies. None of them can compare to the quality and value of Portland Gear. I've been wanting to go visit a friend in Portland. Now in addition to visiting her, I can go shop the brick and mortar store.

All of the print has cracked, and I have worn the hoodie maybe ten times, and washed it inside out one time on cold and gentle. Let air dry just like all of my other puffy print hoodies which I have had for years and this is the only hoodie that the print has cracked on. Threads coming out of the sleeves, overall very poor quality. When I messaged them to see if they would just swap the hoodie out for another, they told me repeatedly that they don't accept any returns on washed or worn clothing. For a brand to not stand behind their products like that, is a one and done buy for me. I have had much smaller companies offer more for much less. 100 dollar hoodie and they offered me 15% back. Keep it, I will take my money to other reliable brands that care about their customer base.

I've only seen a few pieces that are questionable like why is it $30+ for a tee with a giant hole on the back side They do buy clothes, it's by appointment only though. I sold here once definitely won't do it again though. You can take 25 pieces at a time looking for y2k and if you got it larger sizes. I took about 20 tees, older but clean and definitely y2k, 2 jackets and 3 hats. Dude said $60 for it?! I took it because I needed the money but I won't be doing that again. I wouldn't recommend this place at all if you are trying to sell but definitely worth it if your buying

I was wondering why specific items were scattered around the store and not grouped together and that is the reason. The staff was very helpful I'm explaining the set up. If you are a Thrifter and picker you will enjoy this place.

Brent Collier resembles Bruce Willis. But that's unimportant, we are in Portland and we don't care…read moreabout celebrity. In any event, he would would be the good Bruce Willis, not the bad. What is important in Portland is that Mr. Bruce, I mean Brent Collier has made a career of going to Italy and buying clothing direct, and the same with the NYLA garment districts. He brings it back to little, but creative Portland. Who else does that here? No one. And Collier has an excellent eye. He buys shirts, suits, jackets, sweaters, ties, belts scarves, and more, in small quantities. The quality is stellar, and the price earthbound. I found a great lightweight wool Italian suit at Collier with extra pants at a very, very reasonable price. Let's just say 1/4 to 1/3 the price of any place in the area. Same for some dress shirts which continue to draw compliments. Collier has a wider range of color than some of our stylish male clothing purveyors who hew to black, brown, gray and white. If you want unique suit fabrics at a reasonable price that would qualify you to be in The Sartorialist http://www.thesartorialist.com/, this is the only place in Portland. His former store was the Stockroom, and all the cool kids in town, now grownups, have been patrons for a while. If you need fashion advice or suggestions shopping, Collier can provide that too. Shopping for yourself, or anyone with a fashion sense, shopping for their boy, will be able to communicate their concept to Collier. And with the Wildfang phenomena, girls looking for the next level of boyfriend shirt look might look here. So anyone shopping for anyone looking for style, quality and unique is totally welcome. There might be spots like this in LA, SF or NY, but visitors to Portland shopping have the advantage of no sales tax. He changes the store up regularly, so it's worth checking in periodically. There is also a tailor right there for alterations. If you want style, quality, uniqueness and price in men's clothing; collar shirt, tie, jacket style, and even some sportswear, Collier is the best and most unique place in Portland.

I love the ethos of this store, reusing high quality textiles and transforming them into incredible apparel and home goods. One my favorite purchases is a denim hat, which doesn't sound like a big deal but I've found it nearly impossible to find a hat that looks good and fits well on me. I would describe it as a great pair of jeans for my head. Recently, we needed some new throw pillows for our sofa. I thought of Kiriko and was very excited to find a beautiful design with their signature navy look. I ordered the pillows online and they arrived in Seattle very quickly. The inserts are very high quality and I couldn't be happier. There's no other store like this in the US. Well worth a visit.
