After visiting Arctic Bath & Coffee twice, once for a friend's birthday party, when I tried my first ever cold plunge, and more recently this weekend to try out their fire and ice contrast therapy partnership with Hotworx St. Pete, located right next door in the same plaza, I have to say I'm hooked! I never would have thought I'd be a cold plunge girlie, but the reset is amazing! After turning up the heat with a hot yoga session in the Hotworx sauna, I popped over to Arctic Bath and into a cold plunge for a cool five minutes of recovery. Wear something you can get wet in, like a bathing suit, and I recommend bringing a change of clothes for after. But once you're ready, their friendly team guides you through everything, and they provide water gloves and shoes to protect your digits from the cold. Their team member stays with you every step of the way, and they talked me through my first few seconds of trying to catch my breath, reminding me to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. Sounds silly, but you truly forget how to breathe for a few seconds at first when that cold water hits. But then, my body kind of numbs up and I can easily sit in the tub for the full five minutes. But don't worry, you can definitely do less time than that if you want. When I went for the party, my friends and I used the tubs on the other side of the room, where two people can sit in each tub. This time, I used the single person tub. I liked that their filtration system keeps things clean and sanitized, something I was always worried about when I heard about cold plunges. When it's time to get out, they help you through that, too, and then wrap you in a warm robe. Before you plunge, you have the opportunity to order a coffee or matcha latte from their delicious menu - hot or iced - and it's waiting for you when you get out of the tub. Overall, I really loved my experience and prefer the contrast therapy of a nice heated workout before the plunge. I'll definitely be back again. read more

Absolutely incredible spot in St Pete! I can't name another place where you can get a cold Plunge and a coffee. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. If you had told me a year ago, this native Floridan would love cold plunging and willing dip in 50 degree water, I wouldn't believe it. If you hate the cold, don't be scared of taking the plunge. This places is a St. Pete gem!!! The staff are so welcoming and the absolute best! Chris makes the best coffee drinks! Alex and Natalie are so encouraging during the cold plunge, especially since this was our first time ever doing a cold plunge! 3 year resident of St Pete and very active in the doubles beach volleyball scene here in town... I cannot wait to write this review, so buckle up: Alex, Chris, and Natalie at Arctic Bath's were so welcoming and so excited to be there; refreshing to see people so genuinely happy to run a business they are passionate about! As someone who has never done a cold plunge, but knows the health benefits of what it can do for your body, I was excited to try this. Alex and team walked and talked me all the way through it and we all laughed along the way as I submerged into the chilly water!!! I was given little booties and gloves to keep my feet and hands warmer which was a nice touch and a HEATED ROBE out around me as a luxious touch was so divine! Midway through the plunge Chris was behind the coffee bar and prepared the hot beverage that I chose (Crisp Chai Cider...mmmmmmm....). I'll tell you something; that first hot sip of that beverage after the cold plunge was so invigorating and lovely. As a bonus, I discovered that the HotWorx studio (infrared sauna workouts) is right next door... How awesome is that to be able to do a hot workout and do a cold plunge afterwards?!?! If I could give 6 stars I would...and I hope that athletes, locals of St Pete, and visiting tourists take advantage of this little Gem of a place. read more

My sisters convinced me to join them for their plunge session while I was in town for only 48 hours. I was hesitant , but decided to go with them to see what it was all about. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. My sisters introduced me to the staff. They are all awesome! After a short explanation of what to expect, I decided to "take the plunge." Delaney was at my side the entire time and chatted with me and answered questions I had during my plunge. Mira was also very helpful and great! Both of these young ladies made the experience very enjoyable and fun. Afterwards, I was given a warm robe and enjoyed a hot latte at the coffee bar. Emma is such a pleasure also. I was able to meet Alex, the owner. He was very personable and welcoming. He and his great staff made my day!! Thank you all for a great experience!!
