Very reasonable, helpful and we're able to refer us to another shop because our RV was too big to be worked on there. I cannot speak to the reviews from 2017 and earlier, but as of June 2018, the customer service seems to have greatly improved. I have gone in 3 times now to buy parts for my RV. Every time I have gone in, there has been a different girl at the front counter. I mentioned that to one of them and she said they hired a few new people. So, perhaps they are fixing the issue as found in some of the other reviews. I have also called once and the girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I have not had my RV serviced there because their schedule is quite full. And if you look at the reviews for the other RV service center in Fairbanks, you will see why. But, when I do need service, this is where I will be heading. read more

I cannot say how much I appreciate this business. anyone who writes anything negative must have gone to a different shop. This review is not based off of one experience but several. Each time I have taken my motorhome to Arctic RV I thought was prepared for an expensive bill and a hassle, just because it's an RV and this is what I thought would be like. Not at all, this shop has taken super good care of my motorhome from sealing the roof, making an inexpensive fix when I thought furnace needed replaced, to helping me figure out a refrigerator propane exhaust issue was really just the factory metal coating burning off and not an expensive repair of the venting system. Called and scheduled an appointment to have entry steps fixed a few weeks ago. The steps had become cranky and had not operated correctly for almost a month, and then stopped working at all for a couple of weeks. I got to Arctic RV the morning of my appointment and was speedily checked in after reviewing my problem with the service manager. Although Arctic RV has had trouble working with some extended warranty companies in the past, they agreed to discuss the problem and their proposed fix with our extended warranty company (CoachNet) before doing the work. The steps were repaired in just a couple of hours and was fully covered by our warranty company, less our standard deductible. The work was done quickly and well. I strongly encourage any RVers living near Fairbanks, or travelling near ther, to call and visit Arctic RV if a mechanical problem occurs. read more

We had travelled up the Alcan Hwy from CA in our new Airstream trailer, and due to the horrendous potholes and rough terrain, the caulking around several roof vents had cracked and were leaking rain water into our RV. We first contacted Alaska RV and were told they could not provide service for 2 weeks. They wouldn't even look at it to see what needed to be done. We then called Artic RV and Marc, at the front desk, said to bring it in the next am and they would check it out to determine the problem. Spoke with the owner while there, and she was exceptionally helpful & knowledgeable. She squeezed us into their very busy schedule, and put Brian, one of their service techs, on the job. He did a GREAT job and repaired the leaks. This made the rest of our trip, since there was so much rain, very comfortable and leak free. Their fees were reasonable and would give them 10 starts if possible. Highly recommend this business!!!!! read more

Poor customer service! Went in to pick up a part that we previously called in to pick up. Initial phone call with lady answering confirmed they had the part and it would be in the counter when we arrived. Unfortunately, when we arrived it was not the part we requested. The counter gentlemen went on the computer to look up the part and replied he didn't have the part in stock. I asked if he would help me out and call the other RV parts house and see if they had it. He relunctantly went to his phone and said "you can do this as easily as me." With that we turned and left the shop. read more

Could not be any less impressed with the level of service here, including their workmanship and customer treatment. Paid way too much money for virtually nothing to be done on our trailer - then, had to bring it in a second time for them to actually take care of the many things they missed, AND were charged astronomically once again, though we should not have had to pay at all. So beyond displeased with this place - really wish they would have put some true effort into making the deal right for us. read more

We are on the trip of our lifetime and then the slide motor burns up! I called Arctic RV and talked to Hannah. I took a picture of the motor and they had one in stock. They got us in on Saturday morning and we're done by noon! Great bunch of folks and good shop to go to! Thanks Arctic RV! read more
