Every time I have gone in, there has been a different girl at the front counter. I mentioned that to one of them and she said they hired a few new people. So, perhaps they are fixing the issue as found in some of the other reviews. I have also called once and the girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I have not had my RV serviced there because their schedule is quite full. And if you look at the reviews for the other RV service center in Fairbanks, you will see why. But, when I do need service, this is where I will be heading.

I then proceed to book through Expedia with NextCar which turned out to be an affiliate of Alaska 4x4, so it all worked out in the end. As persons not accustomed to snow, I wanted to make sure we were renting a car that would be well-equipped for inclement weather and Alaska 4x4 checked all the boxes. So why Alaska 4x4? 1) It's a local business 2) All their cars are equipped with winter tires and AWD or 4WD. 3) Engine warmer plugs provided in case your engine dies in the cold weather 4) Reasonably priced. 5) Excellent and friendly customer service. They are located at the end of the airport baggage claim level. As soon as you go down the escalator, just go right and you will see it at the end. It's separate from all the other rental car companies which are all bunched together left near the baggage claim pick up. Customer service was friendly and helpful. They let us know ahead of time to be careful on the roads if we were planning on driving to Chena Hot Springs (we weren't), had restaurant recommendations, and picked up promptly when I called their customer service line. Pick up and return process was easy. Just make sure to refuel before returning. Would definitely recommend for your rental car needs, especially if you'll be dealing with snow and ice on the roads.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and they worked with me so someone else could drop off and pick up my vehicle. Badger Glass called me during the appointment to let me know how much it would cost and what the problem was. It turns out the window was not placed in the window track and it was a super easy fix. They helped me out yet again by allowing my vehicle to stay there overnight so I could have someone pick it up (as I was still out of state). Now, over a year later, I still haven't had any problems with that window. Thank you Badger Glass for being honest and super helpful!

They had changed to only having a buffet. It was a tad expensive for my taste but the food was very good and the service was too. I paid $1,600 upfront for one month and explained my situation to the office staff, including that I would probably be extending for an additional 2-3 weeks. I was hoping for a little compassion and understanding during a very difficult time, but that was not my experience. Once I parked, I realized the sites were very small and cramped, with the picnic table sitting right by the sewage line. There was very little room between campers, and it was not what I expected. Also the WiFi was very slow and almost none existent. I was told the overflow parking could be used for guests or an extra vehicle, so I had a friend park there when she visited. I was never told she needed to check in at the office first or that there would be a fee. Over the Fourth of July weekend, my friend parked in the overflow lot and, within minutes, two office employees came over and rudely told her she could not park there because the park was "full." In reality, there were around 20 overflow spaces and only one vehicle parked there all day. The next day, I went into the office to ask where a guest could park if they were picking me up. I was told there was a $10-per-day parking fee, but that I would not be charged because I was staying long term. I had no problem paying, but that had never been mentioned when I checked in. I was also told my friend's vehicle had been trespassed from the property for parking there a few days earlier. My friend was never contacted by police or notified and only found out when she returned to visit. She had to park outside the park and walk in. I only had company over five times total, and they never stayed more than an hour. The staff's communication was inconsistent, and the rules seemed to change as they went. I felt singled out and harassed throughout my stay. At that point, I had been planning to extend for another month, but I decided not to. The day before I checked out, my son stopped by for about five minutes to load my barbecue into his truck. Despite the park being nearly empty and check-in not starting until 4 p.m., staff were knocking on my door and questioning us almost immediately. This was one of the hardest times in my life, and I expected professionalism and kindness. Instead, I experienced rude treatment, confusing policies, and constant harassment. I would not stay here again or recommend this park.

Our site was small but comfortable with 30 amp power, water, and sewer. The surrounding trees and the Chena River were absolutely gorgeous. My biggest shock was the 2400 sq ft grassed dog park which is right on the river. We spent a lot of time there and really enjoyed it. The bathrooms were clean and well lit, I didn't use the showers. We did use their machines for laundry, and while expensive was worth it for us. The staff is great, especially Pam and Aaron who were so friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to star there again.
